Located next to the airport, this Sheetz is consistently put-upon. Its employees are unhappy, disengaged, and appear to have been trained to expect that customers might attack them without warning. The last time I ordered food there was a cold sub. Asked for toasted bread, got stale bread instead. The turkey was "off" and what it lacked in meat they made up for in sloppy globs of mayo. It was like the store was angry at me. If I don't need gas to return my rental, I'll go to Dunkin up the road or the McDonald's that just moved in nearby. I'll continue to use Wawa

Yea,…read morethat's just about the only thing 7-Eleven is good for these days now that Sheetz, Turkey Hill and Wawa have outclassed them in just about every way possible. 7-Eleven is the O.G. and probably has disappeared more and more with time because they clinged to their original makeup since forever and have still failed to upgrade their stores' design and offerings. Plus they are usually manned by gruff employees that speak little English while their competition has friendly counterparts. It's almost a time warp going into one of these. If you want to get the true 7-Eleven tour you must get some kind of combination of the following: Big Bite (hot dog with chili and/or cheese and/or onions) or a Jamaican Beef Patty and Big Gulp or Slurpee (Coke flavor preferable). After that your stomach will probably tell you never to go back but it's worth the experience! Sidenote: this location also has cheap gas, so you may as well go for the whole shebang if you're here.

I judge a business by its business partners as much as the products or services they offer…read more I enjoy Wawa's food and convenience enough to order delivery through their app. They choose to use DoorDash exclusively for delivery orders. In the past, I've had problems receiving deliveries from restaurants that use DD because that company is notorious for covering itself from lability when drivers fail. But with Wawa, this was my only option for one casual $25 order and, frankly, DoorDash has never failed to deliver from a venue near the airport because there are many drivers ready to fulfill our requests. Unfortunately for us, the driver reported they delivered my order and sent a photo confirming it went to the wrong address. The driver never responded to my texts, so I reached out to Wawa and DoorDash. Both refused to either immediately refund my order or replace it. Wawa blamed DoorDash and refused to make it right. DoorDash promised to escalate my issue to a "specialist" to determine if my lack of food or refund was worth action. Meanwhile, I made due with what was left around the house and told my guests that it was my fault to trust either one of them. It's a minor issue for them. It is an important issue for me when I order a meal for myself and my friends and family. I need to rely on the restaurant AND their chosen delivery service. Because Wawa did not step up and, in fact, hid behind the incompetence of its exclusice business partner, I will go elsewhere from now on. And because DoorDash is such a terrible business partner, I will never again patronize a restaurant that uses them exclusively for delivery, even if I order in or pick up.

Yet, after this place reported me to the police for theft that all changed. I have never once committed a crime. In fact I am usually the person who turns in people who steal. Even when my kids were young and they would take something I would take them back to return the item and apologize. Their lies have caused me severe anxiety and stress regardless of knowing I am innocent. My husband has stopped giving this place any money. We now will drive up to half an hour to get what we normally get at this place at another place. I have also had my friends who know my character also have ceased spending money at this place. Liars work here. Run away as fast as possible. "I have been living in PA for just a little over 3 yrs. I have absolutely no criminal record and have never stolen a thing in my whole life. I hate people who steal. Yet, this store has accused me of stealing a drink from them. They have never once approached me. I will do everything to prove I have never stolen a thing. I will then sue in court for lying about me committing a crime. This won't be swept under the rug. I promise I will prove my innocence and hold accountable those who have lied about me. While the parking lot is a typical example of Sheetz' infatuation with sadistic BF Skinner fantasies, this location is generally run well. The staff is friendly and makes eye contact. They respond to lines building up at the checkout. The kitchen is usually moving quickly and the orders are kicked out promptly. The store is generally clean, including the bathrooms which - while not pristine - are rarely nightmare levels of filth you'd see along the highway. It's easy to frind grab-and-go items and there are a lot of pre-wrapped food items to choose from if you just need to gas up and go. This location will get you through the queue quickly. The Beer Cave is often crowded and cramped with product that can't be stocked from the palate, making it hard to get to stock in the back. My main issue with Sheetz is more about the brand. What used to be a go-to spot for decent food has become more of an expensive roller-grill with the kind of subs that you can get wrapped out of a gas station cooler. As Wawa shows up in Central PA, there is a clear difference in quality for about the same price on similar items. When flying in or out of Harrisburg, I'll order lunch from Wawa even if the price of gas is much higher there, just so I don't have to settle for airport fare. But on Lindle Road, I know I'll get quality service so I don't have to make an extra food stop in the neighborhood if I need to keep moving. While Sheetz is obsessive about its branding, that WOW feeling is no longer matched by the kind of radical culinary offerings and quality that made it more than "gas station cuisine" and as someone who discovered this place long ago at IUP during an overnight pub crawl in the late 90s, it's come a long way but in the wrong direction.
