Women push their strollers or carry their children into traffic without looking or pausing, believing the white lines on the road are lines of physical protection from the angry, impatient drivers mere inches from tragedy. You think driving to the far end of the lot will save precious shreds of your grace and sanity, but the man cowering behind the wheel of his dark security vehicle, revealed only by the light of his iPhone, reminds you that even HE has given up and this place is in the hands of some dark, hungry angels circling overhead like winged carrion. You will fight to avoid marveling at the festive, dancing police lights across the temple walls as Swatara Township Police struggle to penetrate the lot, called back for the fifth of fiftieth time for a disturbance, a mental breakdown, or an attempt to take goods from the Walmartian temple without paying proper tribute. You will feel the need to stay after fording these violent currents for what feels like hours, but you should not stay in the realm of Krampus because you have not yet found a spot to stop your warm, safe rolling steel coffin much less pressed your body across a hundred others to get through the bottlenecks and begin your search for whatever you forgot. You may think this is your punishment, your holy penance to honor the season, but listen to your lizard brain and turn back. I try to avoid shopping here but I was at Sam's Club today anyway. Got what I needed and was in and out in a reasonable amount of time. Walmart has a good selection, as well as makeup, hair care, clothes, and toys! It's also pretty cheap, so that makes me want to come back. There is a huge parking lot, and they are adding a pickup or something! This store has definitely improved, and I look forward to going back again! They also have a Walmart website, so you can check that out, too! They have pickup, BTW. (I sort of made it sound like they were adding it, but it was a section they were adding.) I had a head on with the pharmacist. My wife is on diuretic medication due to water retention. However, she ended up going several times to the hospital because of potassium depletion ad low as 1.5. Phinally they figured that the only way to manage it is to be on potassium. Yet, the normal dosage of 2 to 3 does not solve it. After seeing a Penn State kidney specialist she was ordered to have weekly blood work done. Meanwhile the dosage of Potassium has been dramatically increased where now her level is at 4.1 which is ideal. The doctor called in the updated medication dosage. The pharmacist however refused to give it to her until she has ot confirmed with the doctor. Never mind that being out of it she could end up in the hospital because her legs are getting too weak without the potassium level being kept stable. The pharmacist exemplifies in a way why I can't stand Walmart. read more

Super Walmart are pretty good and this one is no exception. Huge parking lot and easy to get in and out of. I was there in the early evening and it was busy but the store was easy to navigate and check was a breeze. Like all Super Walmarts, they have pretty much everything. The definition of one stop shopping. The grocery section here was big and well stocked. The staff was nice enough too. There's also a McDonalds right by the entrance of the store. read more

Went to Walmart to buy a air fryer, I found one that was marked 9.99 it had a stipulation, you had to order on line. I ordered the air fryer and my delivery date was 09/30/2025, I received a message stating it is being delayed no reason given for the delay. I called the help center trying to to get information and I was told that it was a third party product and they would not honor the price listed. When I had gotten home I check the price of the air fryer on line again, come to find out it was priced incorrectly , the original price was 199.98. I believe this is the reason for the delay and why I'm not getting the air fryer. Walmart told they would contact the seller and will get back to me within 48 hours, never heard from them. I tried to buy a DVD set of Blue Bloods but the price online was half of what they were asking in the store. I asked them to match their online price. They said it's two different systems and they could not match it. So I had to place an order for it and return the next day to pick it up. When I returned, the pick up section was pretty full and we were in a large pick up truck. I tried to put in the letter of our space online and it was not any of the choices. So we walked up to the door where They were coming out of with people's orders. I talked to a guy and he said that he would take care of getting us checked in. We waited at least a half an hour, and my husband noticed the guy that was parked next to us had come in after us and was picking up just one item, a TV and he got his already so finally I went inside and ask at customer service if they could check on my DVD She said she would walk over to check on the pick ups because I said I was worried that gentleman had forgotten to actually check us in. She came back and told me that they lost my order and no one was going to come and tell us in the parking lot that they lost our order. My husband went inside to make sure that it was not on the shelf still and it was not on the shelf so somehow they actually did lose our DVD set. We had well over an hour invested in their parking lot and going in and talking to them. I still don't understand why they couldn't have just sold it to me the night before when it was sitting right there, and I had it in my hand, but they would not. Also, the pick up was taking forever and when I said, can't I just come in here and get it she said no that could mean that you're cutting in front of other people. Now I'm not normally a Walmart shopper anyway, but this just seals the deal, that I will continue to not be a Walmart shopper and this location is particularly bad . The Walmart on Grayson road in Harrisburg, PA SUCKS!!! Ordered a delivery order. Stupid driver delivered to the wrong address...wrong street name and wrong house number! WTF!!! The store manager refused to contact the driver to pick it back up and deliver to the right address AND would not give us a refund, but told us we had to call the 800 number for customer service for that. AND...the people at the address where it was delivered, took the products and kept them! Over $100 worth! Never tried to contact us. Although I do enjoy my daily visits to the Walmart. But I inquired about there goldfish selection and they completely blew me off. Now my little nieces birthday bash is forever ruined due to the lack of goldfish supplied. Average Walmart. I came here years ago, but for some reason never put up a review of this place. This is a pretty average Walmart all around from stock to the mostly lethargic employees. Everything is stocked and laid out like most other Walmarts, so if you frequent the brand, then you'd know pretty much where to go. Some areas were an unstocked mess while others seemed just fine. Walmart permits Comcast (among others) to annoy customers while they shop. You try to be nice and walk away, but they come off as pests until you need to be rude to them to shut them down. I hate rudeness, but this is one of the only times it's permissible to me. It's annoying really and this is not the only Walmart that has companies like this near the electronics area. Employees are strange and nothing special here. Customers are typical Walmart. You'll find all the greatest hits here as far as zombies, smelly, rude, dumb, oblivious, creepy, and sloppy. The parking lot is big, but naturally the spots closer to the store have more congestion, so if you want to avoid people who park like idiots, then you can try the farther spots. Overall a typical Walmart. Not the worst (there are truly horrific locations), but certainly not the best (there are a select few believe it or not). I suppose if I'm in the area again and need to save a few bucks on items priced higher elsewhere, I'd likely return. read more

There were no supervisors in the store and the store manager was not even able to answer a phone call. Many of us drove away after an hour without our order. What a disaster. It's like a zoo at this place. I went in today for a few items. As I was finishing up at self checkout, this rude cashier working in the area, walked past me and asked me to give them a five star review. Before I could respond, she rudely said OR NOT. Completely uncalled for. No class or professionalism. She was white, about 5'4, and about 200 lbs, with dirty blonde hair. They make me sick over there. This happened at 336pm. I'm a fan of the order online, pull into a parking spot and have your order delivered to you part of Walmart! This was my first time ordering online for pick-up and I would do it again. There were a couple hiccups--they left an item out of my order but calling customer service was easy and they credited my money back. They also substituted items when I asked them not to. Oh and wouldn't order produce--the green leaf lettuce I ordered was completely wilted and unusable. I also didn't order any fresh meat items. I will buy those when shopping where I can choose the quality of item. Very convenient not to have to go into Walmart on a busy Saturday and deal with all of the people and lines! read more

Every time I come here I hate humanity a little more. Always long lines, no one can be bothered to help and I can't find what I need or it's out of stock. I will always go out of my way to go to target before I give up and come here. I never liked going into this Walmart, but once we started doing grocery pickup my opinion changed of the entire place. I LOVED it. We've been doing pickup for months and had good options, substitutions, and only one major screw up where we didn't get half our order and got someone else's. It was great. However, the past two times we've gone I've waited for over an hour, and for 40 minutes. The last time no one even answered the phone for over 20 minutes, and I was calling repeatedly. I couldn't even get ahold of the store manager to speak to an associate. The line rang for 2 minutes each time I called. I totally understand being busy, but at least have the courtesy to answer the phone and let people know they'll be taken care of. I spoke to someone delivering other orders and mentioned I couldn't even get through on the phone line, and she didn't even attempt to help. I eventually got through and we got our order, but after trying two different days and time slots (even though there were multiple time slots available) I don't think we'll be back. read more

5 stars for Walmart? 5 stars for this Walmart? Yes. And it's for one aspect that has been a game changer in my life...the grocery pickup. There's no question that Walmart carries a decent grocery selection at very good prices. But I, like others, have avoided Walmart (especially this one) because it can be a crazy scene. However now I've found a wonderful way to get the items I like, at the price I like, without every having to set foot in the store! Aaaaaaand it's free!! So i downloaded the app. I pick the items I want and put them in my "bag" and check out. You can store you're credit card in there. You can order same day or schedule ahead - whatever works for you. When your order is ready you get a text and an email and you "check in" on the app. The app then tracks your location and is ready for you when you arrive. You can put your car color in the app and when you arrive you select the number spot you're parked in and ta da - they come out and load it into your car!!! The employees I've encountered so far were so nice and friendly and unfortunately they don't accept tips even though I think they deserve it! Love love LOVE this service!! I did an online order with their new early black Friday sales. I got the delivery very quickly but the Lego product was disappointing. The box was opened and then tapped back up. When I opened it to see if everything was there, all the pieces were out of the original bags, some color sorted and in ziplock bags. Instructions were ripped apart. Someone definitely returned this item and they just sent it to me. This item sells for $80, total disappointment. Glad I opened it to check it out before wrapping it for Christmas. read more

Employees here are the rudest. I got so sick of dealing with rude employees and their horrible customer service I now do 90% of my grocery shopping at Giant. The employees at Giant will go out of their way to help without being rude. Honestly, Walmart prices are really not much cheaper than any other store now a days. But I will pay more for better service and not have to deal with rude employees. I made the mistake by going to this Walmart the other day and I quickly learned that I really need to STOP going here forever. I was going down and isle and a Walmart employee started coming up the isle with a cart to fill orders with when she stopped directly in front of me to place stickers on the bins on the cart. There was a customer on the other side of me so I could not go around her. I was like really?? So I had to wait till the other customer was finished so I could go around them. Then I needed to get lunchmeat and cheese. Well that was a joke. I went to the counter to get it and the employee behind the counter completely ignored me. I stood there looking at her and she looked at me several times and said absolutely nothing and then started talking to another employee. After about 5 minutes and me asking if she was going to wait on me I left. Needless to say I went to Giant to get my lunchmeat and cheese. I am DONE with Walmart!! I hate going here. I only do it when I feel the need to torture myself. Or - target is out of something and I'm desperate. This location has horrible parking. They have your average selections items, but the store could use a good deep cleaning. I have noticed that the store employees are generally pretty friendly, although it can be hard to track one down. This Walmart goes along with the rest of them when it comes to having 50 checkout lines with only 8 open at a time. With that being said also, the self serve check out lines are outrageous soooo you are pretty much screwed either way!!! They have also started checking receipts upon exit, like at sams or Costco. I find this annoying. It gets very backed up and makes me have to stay in Walmart longer than I want to. Oh, and they recently changed or are going to change their hours in the near future. If a regional manager or someone from the corporate office took the time to visit this Walmart, they would fire the entire management team at this location. Pros: A superstore as usual. Nothing exceptional here as outlying Walmarts elsewhere like the West Shore. CONS: Parking, parking and parking. Never able to find a close parking spot. Too close to its owner, Sam's Club. Causes too much congestion. Traffic flow to Derry Street over the railyard and or onto RT 322 stinks. Dirty parking lot and store seems the same. read more

Went to the Super center on Grayson road today. I now Wish I had not... Place was packed. Lines were 10 people deep, with only 50 percent of the lines open. My turn to check out, the card scanner is ripped off it's mount. Was not till I got to my truck that I noticed the receipt indicated the beef bologna I purchased was $4.48 each. I had purchased 3. Now, I know for a fact that the label on shelf indicated $.97. As this is for my work lunch I wanted the cheep stuff. So, I grabbed 3. This location has gone from bad to worse, when it comes to the shelves being stocked, and the proper item in its priced location. I would not recommend anyone visit this Wall-mart for their grocery needs until the store staffs it fully, with more capable management personnel.
