This walgreens has very pretty landscaping there's a bunch of purple crabapple trees in the front. Customer service / cashiers are very cordial. If you need to use the restroom you will have to ask the cashier to put in the secret code by the pharmacy, other than that this is a nice Walgreens.

I had two photo orders same-day pick up went straight there from work to get them because they were…read moregifts. I arrived to find no one at the photo counter, so I push the button that is calling them to come assist a customer. No one comes eventually at times out and stops calling for help so I push it again. Again, no one comes it out so rather than pushing it a third time I stepped around the counter, grab the correct bin for my last name and grabbed my two photo orders which we're sitting right on top and went to the front register The woman asked me if I needed help in photo and I said not any longer because I just went ahead and grabbed mine. I came straight from work and I have somewhere to be. She says next time, please don't because that is a HIPAA violation I asked her how is that a HIPAA violation what healthcare information is stored behind the photo counter She says just don't go back there then when she tries to ring another item says it has no barcode and looks at me like it's my fault I said, how are you selling items without a barcode? Obviously they aren't so I just paid for my photos and she grabbed my receipt and threw it in the garbage. I stopped and paused and looked at her with my hand out and she says oh did you want your receipt? I said never mind because obviously I didn't have time to wait for her to reprint one then it dawned on me as I walked out the door. The receipt would've had her name on it for me to include in this review about the horrific service and misinformation about HIPAA violations when no one is there to help you get the things that you ordered from them This teaches me not to go to Walgreens in Monroe because they don't want you there. They don't come to the counter. They're rude when you go to another counter and they throw your receipt away horrible service. The manager did reach out to clarify that Hannah, the awful cashier misrepresented that there is no HIPAA information in the photo department Nothing about her rotten attitude

Parking was plentiful and convenient. Garden department employee was helpful. She agreed that the Collectors Cactus Plants from Costa Farms should be re-stocked, as they are popular. Some of the houseplants that were reduced for quick sale were in such poor shape that they should be thrown out.

The other item I stopped in to see if the sold a large emesis basins and they don't. What medical supply store doesn't carry a larger vomit tub as they give you at a hospital that's a large emesis basin technical name.

Pharmacy is super friendly and knowledgeable…read more They are quick and almost always have the medication in stock and if they don't you can try the other Walgreens in town or the pharmacy staff will even call other pharmacy vendors if you need the medicine asap. Otherwise they get the medication in fast anyways if it isn't something you need right now. The store carries a good variety of items but some special items food or beverage wise I might have to go somewhere else. I also love their Walgreens reward program I give it a solid A.

They took out some regular check out lanes ( which was never in use). And of course, added self service check out lanes. They even have sushi now. Never did when I lived in Monroe. Also if one time it takes your center less than an hour to fill a prescription and another time it takes you 12-24 hrs to fill the same prescription there's a problem. How about setting people up on auto refills like several other pharmacies do.
