Difficult to find a pharmacy employee with integrity. They'll say things like "I'll call you when…read moreyour RX is ready" but then they don't call, and they wait until they see you standing in line to say "Oh, your RX is ready" after the had app informed me it was ready. They are simply unreliable and don't care about the pharmacy customers in my experiences. Fortunately, there's a really good employee named Michael, and if you can work with him, you'll get excellent service. In the retail section of the store, they can't seem to keep employees. And the employees who are there just don't want to work the cash registers. It's like they think you are a burden if you want to shop at their store. If you have Medicare Part D, the rates are lower at Kroger using the exact same Part D plan.

Two additional gripes were I bought something at another medical supply store and paid $2.00 for the item and here it was $5.19 I told them that they are pricey for one of these. The other item I stopped in to see if the sold a large emesis basins and they don't. What medical supply store doesn't carry a larger vomit tub as they give you at a hospital that's a large emesis basin technical name.

Yesterday, I had a particularly upsetting time dealing with Rob, one of the head pharmacist there. I had an older prescription that was called in in October... however, I am disabled, and I cannot legally drive due to my condition, so I filled a new prescription for the same medication at a closer pharmacy. Well yesterday, I sent a reminder to fill it when they can (it was a bit too early to fill, so I knew that it wouldn't be filled yesterday), since I was able to secure a ride to the pharmacy whenever it is ready. Well, I got a call from Rob saying that he deleted my prescriptions from the system since "they were old" and "the Dr needs to call in a new one". The prescriptions are from late October, not even three months old. Keep in mind that these prescriptions are prescribed specifically for my seizures, and I have to wait to see a new neurologist to continue these medications, so I can't necessarily call my doctor to get a "new prescription". This reason (is just one of MANY reasons), is why I will be taking my business elsewhere. If you want to play pretend and act like you're a Dr, then go to a nursing school, and get a degree in that field. Don't go and power trip on disabled patients to stroke your ego, and ruin their medical care by toying with their medications because you feel like it. I hope you're reading this, Rob, and I hope that you feel very proud of yourself. You still have time to revoke your decision. I called back, and I spoke with Jacob, and he said that they usually only delete prescriptions from the system if/when they speak with the doctor and they ask to delete the prescription, however, Jacob said it there was no notes indicating that there was a conversation with the Doctor, nor any reason listed why it was deleted from the system. Also, just as a side note, I have had older prescriptions filled months later from that same pharmacy with NO issues, so why NOW?! What is the problem here?? Remember Rob, you have created a toxic environment, not only for your "patients", but from what I have heard, for your staff as well.

Updated store, updated review. New set up, new bottle return room, and even new shopping carts…read more Wider isles, but less stuff in a few categories. They took out some regular check out lanes ( which was never in use). And of course, added self service check out lanes. They even have sushi now. Never did when I lived in Monroe. But many of the same faces on the staff and same service is I was use to having the 15 years I lived here. Will stop monthly when I come down to have thoses white roots covered.

Pharmacy is super friendly and knowledgeable…read more They are quick and almost always have the medication in stock and if they don't you can try the other Walgreens in town or the pharmacy staff will even call other pharmacy vendors if you need the medicine asap. Otherwise they get the medication in fast anyways if it isn't something you need right now. The store carries a good variety of items but some special items food or beverage wise I might have to go somewhere else. I also love their Walgreens reward program I give it a solid A.
