As a customer of CVS for over 15 years I am appalled for the way I was treated last night at the CVS Location in Monterey Park CA on Atlantic Blvd. I was disrespected by a supervisor Irene in front of other employees and customers. I purchased 2 Nature Made gummies. Both were listed in the store as buy one get 1 50% equal or lesser values. When I got to the register the items were not ringing up as advertised in the store. I was Rudely shut down when I asked if I could be honored the price that was listed on the tag tickets. The employee helping me quickly turned me down and told me that there was nothing she can do because the items were not ringing up as advertised and when I asked her to speak with a supervisor Daphne pushed my change in front of me and asked me to move over to the side and when someone wasn't busy they would assist. The supervisor Irene budged in and told me to go wait in that aisle until someone came then proceeded to tell me when I was explaining what was going on to stop talking to her because she was helping somebody And that she would assist me when she was done mind you she was the one who jumped into my conversation. I was disrespected and embarrassed in front of other people in the store. This makes me so uncomfortable to shop in your stores. I wasn't rude and I didn't raise my voice I had to politely ask Irene to stop talking to me like I was a child. I was in line and waited my turn just like everybody else I had an issue and I don't think that I should've been pushed to the side to have to wait for everybody else to be helped out again when I was already in line and the issue could've been resolved then and there. When I asked if I can speak to another supervisor Irene told me that they had just left and there was nothing She can do. As a supervisor I feel that when a customer is in need that's when it's the supervisors time to shine and help to resolve the issue. I am never going to shop at the CVS location and it has me reconsidering other locations as well. I will be sure let my friends and family know to no longer come to the CVS location. CVS you really let me down. This was the worst Experience I ever had at a CVS location and it made me never wanna come back again. You guys need to reconsider and look more thoroughly into who you hire. Been in line for more than 40 minutes! They only have 1 person working the line ! This is ridiculous. There's 2 pharmacists and instead of 1 of them helping the extremely loooong line no they're both back there filling prescriptions.. read more

This parking lot likes to be very cramped with cars and people darting between them. There is a lot of trash and litter out front, too. I do, however, like the changes CVS has been making with the look and self-checkout, app, coupons, etc. Some stuff is still pretty pricey though, but I assume you go here for things like household goods and snacks only if it's convenient or if you have to go to the pharmacy. I love that the app provides you with a lot of coupons because I have found that I can usually find one or two of them that I can use. This trip, for instance, I had access to 83 of them!! It's also really easy to navigate because the coupons are broken down into categories. For some reason I added one of them to my CVS card (which can conveniently be scanned with the app) and it didn't work at the register. The cashier was great and manually input it for me. Service at this location is great, but I gave it 4 stars for parking and pricing (but you can't really compare this kind of retail to BIG retail like Walmart or Target). read more

Give me my meds or I'm about to blow a muda fucka up! Nah! jk I've never used the pharmacy here. Only thing I've ever bought here was alcohol. They have a sweet deal on generic vodka and wine but I've noticed that the price of beer is a little higher in comparison to El Super. It's a convenient place to make a pit stop for snacks than 7-11 per se and get ready for the epic 5 foot receipt with coupons and extra bucks! read more

This place is always packed, morning Noon and night. This place has it all, except enough staff at night the lines tend to get long but most of it is people holding up the line complaining about their coupons. Self checkout is nice unless you have alcohol. read more

the worst worst worst ever the pharmacy is just bad i wish i could give them -10000000 sent my wife in on feb 22 7;45 pm to get my refill the didnt have all the meds to cover my refill so i had my wife ask them if they can give me just a few to hold me off until they get the rest in and they said noo!! i have been coming to this pharmacy foe more then 13 years and i will never step foot in this place ever again i gave diabetes and its not like im trying to get high off my meds i just need them to lower my sugar drove all the way from sylmar more then 36 miles just because i have always came here but never will i again you guys are some cold people read more

They are ridiculously slow here . They should seriously hire more efficient staff. Everyone here is not seeing or hearing well and have you stand in line for a long period of time. This is the only cvs here and this place is crap. They have the front blocked off making you walk around it looks like prison in here the manager should really do something about this. read more

First of all, can I give Zero star??? I've come to this CVS store for years, and now I have to make a conclusion, this place sucks! Hire better employees for fuck's sake. I can't decide if they're old and dumb or they're just old and lazy and rude. I didn't wanna sound but at this point, yeah! Since the self check-outs were there, I felt better not to deal with these old and unprofessional staff. But guess again, the self check out machines didn't exactly work well either. Twice, they stopped working on me in the middle of paying. And today one of the machine decided to not give me my receipt. And I was nicely asking for help. She came to me and had this annoyed look and a sigh: "Do you really need a receipt?". Ah hellooo? Why the heck that I even bother to ask??? And then I was also patiently waiting for 10, 15 minutes just to have another one of those employees that looked totally clueless and she was even looking at me like a freak. And instead of trying to help me she went "huh? What? Uh I dunno.." and started to talk to her coworker whatever the hell about it was my fault that I couldn't get my receipt. All of you complaining about this pharmacy should do what I did. Start going to the one on Garfield instead. Short lines (or none). Yeah, it's a 5 or 10 minute drive from the one on Atlantic. You will make up more than that time due to not waiting in a huge line. I can't give them 5 stars because they're still a corporate atmosphere, and most of their "rewards" are for products I don't use. However, I also don't want some mom and pop because my life is very unregimented. I want a national chain so that wherever I travel (around town, around the state, and around the country), I can easily refill my Rx if needed. So CVS works for me, but I do EXTREMELY AVOID THE ONE ON ATLANTIC BECAUSE OF THE LINES. read more

Horrible Management. Tried making a purchase that required an ID. Lost my California ID so presented my Military Dependents ID. This is a Government ID. Martha who is the manager there mentioned to me that she has never seen this sort of ID before. As I have worked in establishments that frequently check ID's for sales there is a state issued book that has pictures of acceptable forms of Identification for the state of California. I asked her if she had this book handy so that I can show her that this is a government issued ID. She continued to say that she has no such book and that the ID looked fake. I then Googled what a dependent military ID looked like and showed her a picture..still nothing. She was very rude and as a corporate establishment they should have the proper documents on hand so that uneducated management have something to reference to in situations such as these. read more

Should have checked my receipt. I was in such a hurry. I grab everything I needed, and a makeup foundation I decided to treat myself to. I bought soda, car cleaner and a revlon foundation. BUT, I was charge for a car cleaner and TWO foundations. $30+ on the foundations alone! After a whole evening of errands, I found out. ON TOP OF IT ALL, to think that paying for 2 expensive drugstore make up products made me angry... I found out they have a "Buy one get one 50% off" on Revlon. What?! I hate that this CVS is the closest and most convenient to me, because I've never had a good experience coming from there. The time before this, my credit card got locked because they attempted running it too many times, causing too many over charges. So it's not like I've never given this place the benefit of the doubt. read more

this store lost my original prescription, 2 other drugs are missing in their computer so that I cannot refill. Then I found out that my first refill was only for 30 days but they claim that I had 60 days. Service & knowledge are poor. Do not go there. read more

This place is crap service!!!!!!! The only person there that knows what he is doing is the pharmacist Frank. He is very helpful and takes care of you quick, polite and gets you out quick. Other than him this place is crap service. Long lines,rude technicians and the slowest lines ever. I was helped by a pharmacist who was literally snowing on me from his head. I went in to this CVS to make an exchange for shampoos I had purchased at another CVS. A female supervisor told me "oh, the store manager would have to exchange this because you used manufacturer coupons and got the shampoo for free." I said "OK, sure." The store manager comes along very dogmatic assuring me that the other store shouldn't have taken the manufacturer coupons in the first place. So he refused to exchange the products at first. I showed him a coupon that states "$5 off TWO Clairol products" The Herbal Essences shampoos ARE Clairol products and were on sale 2 for $5, SO I just paid taxes on the shampoo at the other store. He stated that he has the discretion on which coupons HE chooses to TAKE from customers. I said "OK, since when does a store manager have the discretion to decline a coupon that PERFECTLY applies to the items?" He pretty much said in a whole sentence that he has the discretion. I said "OK, let me have the phone number to your district manager." He stated, "You can call corporate." I replied saying "NO, I want your district managers phone number and name." He finally gave in to me and proceeded to exchange the shampoo for a different scent. Keep in mind I was exchanging for the SAME Clairol product, SAME size, SAME price. Finally, after somewhat of a headache no other CVS employee had put me through; a Store MANAGER was the first to make something so easy turn into a waste of time for NO reason!!!! The point I'm trying to make is a store manager should not be this ignorant about coupons. On top of that he is trying to argue that I'M wrong for using the coupons. Really? Just so you know, that manufacturer coupon was a mistake by the manufacturer, BUT CVS still chose to honor the coupons. If a Store Manager Doesn't know whats going on with CVS, why are you a STORE manager then? Please do your homework before arguing with a customer. He exchanged everything after 25 minutes had passed because he had to make a "call" to his District Manager, getting approval to exchange the items after the coupons have been used. NEVER EVER COME HERE! If you live near around the neighborhood, just go to rite aid instead. heres the story... one night i got off of the gym and remembered that i needed some batteries for my electronic toothbrush, so i decided to go to cvs, thinking that it would have better deals than rite aid. when i arrived, i was carrying a drawstring bag that i put my towel, water, and etc because i was in a rush so i just carried it in. so i walked toward the batteries section trying to find the right battery for me. as i was looking, i realized that i did not know which battery was right for my toothbrush. and then i got smart and decided to find the toothbrush in the store. as i was walking toward the oral care section, an employee stopped me and demanded me to walk with him toward the front counter. he said "have you met eric?" i was like "no, why would i?" hes drifted from "i need to check your bag" to "we need to keep your bag in the front until you leave". so i was like "okay....whatever..... i just want to get what i need and get out of here". so then i asked him for help to find the right battery for me. as he was leading me back to the oral care section, he asked me to shake his hand, which i did. and then i said "you think im gonna take something? i have money with me" and i showed him the money that i was holding all along. he did not say anything afterwards. he was unable to assist me to find what i want. so i just left. overall, the employees have bad manners and i wonder how they even got hired. they were constantly chatting in a group in the front desk. they did not try to complete other tasks, but rather just accuse someone of trying to steal something. whats up with these people these days...just because i was carrying a bag and they get all suspicious...i forgot to ask him when he took my bag that if he is willing to take the responsibility if something is missing inside my bag while it's being held by them. if they dont trust me, then i dont trust them. read more
