I love the fact that the CVS has a drive-thru pharmacy... it makes it very convenient on rainy days such as today when I had to pick up my medicine. The pharmacist was very nice and helpful. She also let me know that through their app they have a way to save a card on file so you don't have to dig through your wallet to find a payment for future pharmacy purchases. It seems the stores have become run down and the employees are burnt out. Often the stores appear dirty and the shelves aren't well stocked. The pharmacy techs and pharmacists are a revolving door. No sense of community. read more

This place claims to be open until midnight, but that's a lie. I just went on 5/21/2023 at 10:02 pm, and the employees were leaving an locking up and I asked politely... and no response. Take the sign down that says "open till midnight" please. I had a kid wake up sick at like 9:45... but oh well, sucks to be me I guess. read more

There is NO WAY TO CALL AND TALK TO PHARMACY. You can only leave a message and they may or may NOT return your call. I left a message with the pharmacy on a Friday. They called me back after closing @ 6:04pm. I wanted to pick up prescription on Saturday but was told my prescription could not be filled until Sunday. I was told to call to order AND pick up the prescription on Sunday. I called on Sunday and left message that I needed prescription filled on Sunday. 1/2 hour before closing, I still had not received a call back so I drove to CVS and was told they did not have the drug. It had to be ordered. This is a drug that needs to be taken as prescribed and I was out of the medication. My Dr submitted this prescription to CVS a month prior to my being told they did not have it in stock and it needed to be ordered. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND INEXCUSABLE BY PHARMACY. Jessica Marzolf, the Nurse Practitioner, at the Minute Clinic is extremely rude to her patients. I was turned away as a walk-in 35 minutes before closing. She had one more scheduled patient who was already 5 minutes late. I told her I needed a medicine for gout. It's would have been a simple 7 minute conversation. The oath she took when graduating Med School went right out the door....the same door she sent me out of with gout. Take your business elsewhere. read more

I really do like a CVS type of store. It's easier to get in and out of then a Walmart. I can get odd knick knacks for family members. I can also make sure that I get last minute items that I could get at a convenience store. This place is definitely more convenient. read more

If I could rate this pharmacy I would rate it a -100! Not only did they never find the script that my doctor E-Sribed to them, they never offered to look through the system to see that all they would have had to do, if they really wanted to help me, was SEE that there was a Caremark mail order script sent by my doctor at 3:53PM and call CVS Caremark and get the script from them! I know working in a pharmacy is not fun and it's very hard work dealing with a wide variety of people because I was a certified pharmacy technician in CA. I am disabled so I cannot work, but anyone in the pharmacy business knows that CVS Pharmacy and CVS Caremark Mail Order are interchangeable systems. All they would have had to do was tell me that with my permission, they could get the script from CVS Caremark. Did they even try to help me out? No! They let me do all the legwork making a zillion phone calls and I got so angry that I will never use CVS again!!! read more

I know I can be pretty brutal with CVSs as you might can tell by my past reviews so this one was pretty good so I am being generous with a 4 star review. Between a 3 and 4. Nice building in a good location. Good selection of stuff in the store with some decent touristy things for those going to the beach and buying sunscreen and they can buy beach toys and drinks and other essentials for your day. The employees seemed nice enough. Did not see them around the cash register which had me a little worried about having to look for someone but as I walked up, so did the clerk who was busy earlier stocking stuff. Overall a decent CVS experience so I felt I needed to make up for some of the bad experiences I have had at others. read more

Has what I need when I need it. Little overpriced but that's what you pay for conveniently located less than a mile from house. Usually get coupons and that's when you can get the good deals. I usually wait for the coupon to get propane refill. read more

I was out of town and needed new meds. This staff and this pharmacy will always have my business because they are efficient, coordinated and kind! One of the staff members even found a coupon for one of my meds which the insurance company wouldn't pay for yet because it had not expired. Yet I was going to be driving for 4 days to return home. I waited 2 hours today for what my registering said would be a 1 hour wait today, Saturday. I can not take time off work during the week to go to my regular physician and I woke up this morning after 3 days of a stuffy nose and cough with my symptoms much worse and green mucous now today. The provider at this location, John Champion PA, did not log my symptoms correct on the receipt, claimed I had allergies when I informed him I'm coughing up and blowing green mucous from my nose, have pain in my face and burning sensation in my nose and no voice. I asked for a antibiotic Rx as I have had numerous sinus infections in the past and these are all the symptoms I usually have. I explained to him I just need to clear the infection and I am a medical provider and know when I have a sinus infection and I did understand why he could not write a Rx for a simple antibiotic and his only response was that MinuteClinic does not want to be known for writing Rx.!!! I was still required to pay the $129 and left with nothing more than a antihistamine spray Rx of which I already have at home. I spent the rest of the afternoon at HealthFirst where I received very good care and the Rx I needed. I would never recommend wasting your time at this Minute Clinic. read more

I wanted a 0 rating. Minute clinic was horrible. Went in knowing I had strep or sinus infection. Strep was negative. Would not give me antibiotic for sinus infection despite all my symptoms. Ended up not being able to swallow my throat was so swollen and went to health first was immediately diagnosed with sinusitis by a real doctor. Will be filing complaint with medical board. read more

Minute Clinic: Horrible customer service!!! I tried to call to see if they would be able to administer a flu shot to my daughter. I had to go through 3 minutes of robot prompts, then was placed on hold. When the Rep finally answered, it was from a national call center. She couldn't answer my question and transferred me to another department. I have now been on hold for over 10 minutes. I DEFINITELY would not recommend the Minute Clinic! If they can't have a local person answering a simple question, then how can I rely on their service?? Terrible!! *******While I would NOT recommend the MinuteClinic, I cannot say enough wonderful things about the CVS pharmacy itself. The staff is wonderful and they have offered an incredible service each and every time I've been in there. Sadly my first visit to a CVS Minute Clinic was a big disappointment. After meeting the Nurse Practitioner, Brittany Pierson, I quickly regretted not opting for the alternative a couple miles away. I realize this is a "minute" clinic, patients need to be in an out fast, no time for small talk. This was beyond an unfriendly nurse. Brittany had (by far) the worst bedside manner I have ever experienced. She was rude, condescending, strangely robotic, and apparently not happy to be there. Upon returning to my hometown and visiting my doctor, I also realized Brittany Pierson misdiagnosed my symptoms. A case of step throat was misdiagnosed as seasonal allergies. This experience left me shaking my head at how sad it is that one employee can give an entire brand a bad reputation. Long gone are the days of, "Thank you for choosing our company" or "we appreciate your business." Maybe it's a millennial mindset. Whatever it may be, thanks to Mrs. Pierson, this was my first and last visit to a CVS Minute Clinic. read more

I arrived tonight at 7pm to the CVS located at 1676 N Hwy 17, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464, knowing that the clinic closes at 7:30. When I checked online there was only a 7 minute wait and the option to check in online was not available at the time, otherwise I would have already checked in. So when I arrived, I walked up to the kiosk to check in while the nurse was attending to one patient. There was one other patient in line at the time. This nurse had the nerve to tell me that she wouldn't see me tonight because she already had two patients. She refused to see me even though I told her I just need a flu test. She was so worried about leaving early that she wouldn't see me. I told her I just needed a flu test and some Tamiflu if it came back positive. Tamiflu needs to be taken within the first 48 hours of symptoms to work. She must not even know this because when I expressed how important it was that I get it tonight, she seemed confused and told me it doesn't matter when I take it. She then told me, there's something going around and it's probably not the flu anyways! I guess she's so good she can diagnose you just by looking at you. I guess this is what you get when you go to a budget knock off of a real doctor. I'll stick with real doctors from now on. read more
