CVS on Fulton Street is so convenient. When I'm down in the financial district and I need anything I stop here. I'm not sure why my review is missing. Since surgery I'm not getting around so I order online. CVS is quick delivery and I use coupons to save. One issue is separate deliveries. It inconvenient to keep running to my package room. Yesterday I received a nice lined box with two items. The rest of my items are supposed to arrive today. All the cardboard is an environmental waste to me. Save the trees! This CVS is by my job and it has always been here for a long time. The CVS has different types of doors for their entrance. They got automatic open and close doors and a set of doors where you got to manually open. What I like about this CVS is the coupon kiosk that you can print out coupons to use. They have some good sales that will reward you Extra bucks. I bought 2 packs of always pads for $15 each and got $10 Extrabucks that will expire a month away so I got extra time to use it. The checkout self kiosks in my opinion are very sensitive when you place the items after scanning them. The screen is always having an error message asking for a sales representative for help because the items are not placed properly. They always have to clear the error message. Hopefully they can fix that issue because it is really annoying. read more

I went to pick up prescription. Realized I am Having an asthma attack I check in, and lean against a wall taking my inhaler, sweating, visibly ill , and hyperventilating . Two separate staff members were aggressive and rude saying if you don't stand directly behind a machine they don't know you're here. The store was not busy, and it was also obvious that I was the person for the kiosk as I was mere feet away. If this is how they treat customers who are physically presenting symptoms, I can only imagine their character for other people who suffer from invisible disabilities. read more

All these CVS Pharmacies swallowed u the Rite Aid and Walgreens in our already disenfranchised neighborhoods, not so in mostly white neighborhoods . They're terrible whether it be pharmacist or in person register at the counter most of them in New York there's no one there if you ask you're told the register is down and your then pointed to the self service it like they're really making it's harder for older folk sand even for them to get there medications you're to to use a Robt to fill your RX or if you ask advice on anything you need to take for basic healthcare .They only you a recording for a return call it could take days or hours .Really impersonal I miss Rite Aid and Walgreens I know for a fact lots of ppl do too. read more

Pretty cool C.V.S, located right near the World Trade Center area and not too far from Century 21 department store too, I was in there around 2:40 a.m., Because we had an early face visual technology meeting in the area, Ahead of the European Time zone Difference and we was in New York and we was playing catch up with there timezone for the meeting, Anyhow I stop at Joe pizza across the street there open until 3 a.m. got me two pepperoni pizza then across the street to c.v.s pharmacy to get some snacks, etc stuff, I was having issues paying at the kiosk machine and the security guard was really helpful, he helps me at the computer kiosks machine/ Cashier. I love his accent he told me he was from Haiti, anyhow. after I left the c.v.s, I didn't realize I left my Bank debit card there two hours later I was going through my bag and my Louis Vuitton wallet, but I didn't find it. I called this c.v.s location and nobody picked up the phone, so after 6:30 a.m. before I went home I stopped by the c.v.s and thanked god the security guard was still there and he called the late-night manager (Vladimir) I think he was the manager, morals of the story he asked me my name, and he looks at the card and I realize that the name I told him and he gave me back my debit bank card in my hands, I really can be careless sometimes ;( Thanks Vladimir and thanks to the security guard ..... Pharmacy staff are consistently NOT wearing masks at all or incorrectly (below nose) at store #2716 while behind the counter. Tonight I asked to speak to the the pharmacist, Alexandra Spektor, who told me the policy had changed so many times and that they did not have to wear masks while counting medicine because they did it on a tray. She then proceeded to tell me that before Covid no one wore masks to count medicine... Obviously no care to proper standard in medical care which is appalling. Pharmacist never asked individual's to pull up their masks and was incredibly dismissive. Avoid at all costs. read more

I had the pleasure of speaking with the supervising pharmacist, Govinda several times. Every single time I spoke with him over the phone, he has been very calm, patient, understanding, and tries his best to rectify any medication / insurance issues with me. I am a pharmacist as well, but am on multiple medications. Because I have many different specialty physicians, the fill dates on my meds are all over the place. Govinda helped me go through my list one by one to ensure I have the required supply for the month. He also helped me double check with the billing process as my copays are extremely high. I've been to many different pharmacies and have also worked in different pharmacies. Govinda should be the gold standard of how to be a pharmacist and how to treat human beings. I will always go back to Govinda despite the high copays. read more

Today I arrived at 1:40 to pick up my prescription. Well, they close from 1:30 to 2:00 so I had to stand for 20 minutes (with 8 other people) waiting for the gate to open. The workers were NOT at lunch--they were just milling around. Plus the prices are outrageous--milk at 4.69 and orange juice at 6.49 is almost double what you'd pay at most stores. read more

I unfortunately didn't catch their names, but the other day I went early in the morning to pick up some nail base coat which looked to be out of stock. I didn't even ask for help before an employee ask me to point out exactly what was the product I was there for. Another employee joined the conversation and told me she had seen it in the most recent shipment boxes. I told her I could come back later for it, but she told me not to worry, that she would retrieve it for me. It really was the initiative they both took to help me out that I really appreciated. Also, I love how nice everyone is every time I go to this location. Products go out of stock constantly, I mean, it's nyc... which can get very frustrating. So I truly admire how the staff here is always able to give you the best service possible under not the most ideal circumstances. read more

This CVS is beyond the worst. You call your not on hold for 5 or 10 mins... I'm still on hold and it's been 49 mins and NO ONE even picked up to even say "please hold" or "I'll be right with you" 49 mins! To be on hold for a pharmacy that you need to fill your meds! This is not acceptable. Stop being greedy and hire more staff! Cause clearly the ones you have can't even pick up a phone!! This happens ALL the time, any time I call I'm on hold at least 15 mins... Do not go here, especially for photos. Super disorganized lazy, incompetent employees who don't care. They have 20 piles of photos in a mess and refused to search more than 2 claiming it wouldn't be in those piles but it was lost so why not try. I was willing to search myself. Super convenient when I used to work in the Downtown Financial District. Yes, this location Store #2716 is indeed, finally, operates 24/7. This location is well maintained with lots of stock and cleanliness. The people who work there are very friendly and knowledgeable which enlightens your day as they always smile or waved to me as a loyal client. Called to find out if they had this item in stock. The women who picked up said without checking "I'm not suppose to... NO awe don't have it". I walked to the store because it was an emergency and I needed this to store milk for my 5 month old. Of course it was right on the shelf over 8 boxes. When I had a prescription filled at CVS, I was not informed that I would automatically be subjected to automated "refill" calls. Which happened at random hours without warning and began the day after I had a three-month supply filled. This calls negatively impacted both my business and my sleep and disturbed my child. It took WEEKS to get through to anyone at CVS and they still have not discontinued the calls. Thus far, it has taken me hours and it is still not cleared up. If this is their attitude toward customer service, I have to wonder how much care they are taking filling prescriptions. read more

It is CVS so it is not spectacular because for every CVS I go to, there is always something out of stock so I end up just having wasted my time going there. Staff was not that pleasant but overall, if the place has what you need, there is no issue. Wish they had automatic discounts applied like Rite Aid, which would mean more customers since the prices here are quite high but the quality of some of the items are better than what is available at Rite Aid. Yes, this CVS is conveniently located, but that's pretty much all I have to say about it that's good. It is cramped and it was a mess. There were two employees that actually cut me off to put things on the shelves. No excuse me, pardon me, I'm sorry, or thank you. That made me sad. There was also a line of 7 people and only one cashier. What I usually love about CVS's are the self-checkout lanes so I can just do it myself. But none of these were open at this location. I went in because I was looking to buy a bottle of water and a snack. I ended up leaving with nothing. I'm not in this area all that often, so it's really not much of a loss for me. I feel bad for those who need to shop here more often. I hope there's another option for you nearby. read more

I had an absolutely vile call with the pharmacist at this location, Eric, who told me that he would not help scan coupons to lower the cost of my medically-required birth control prescription and instead told me to call and female pharmacist at another location to deal with it. I asked if he was just unwilling to help and putting it on someone else, and he unequivocally said "yes." It's men like this that are the problem with the medical industry as a whole, and I sincerely hope this location reviews this pharmacist for his behavior. I just had an awful experience at another pharmacy in the area- the Duane Reade at 17 John Street. Today I went to this CVS location on Fulton Street (in the Financial District in Manhattan) first. After leaving, I realized I forgot to buy one item. I didn't want to go all the way back there, and by that point I was pretty close to the Duane Reade on John Street, which is the absolute worst. Well, as expected, it was another terrible customer service experience. That prompted me to write this review about the Fulton Street CVS, which always provides friendly service because there is such a stark difference. Every time you enter, a staff member greets you at the door. And when you leave, they say goodbye. At least in NYC, this never happens. It's so refreshing and the staff there are helpful. Someone's doing something right at this CVS, and I appreciate they are in the FiDi neighborhood. read more

I've been to this CVS multiple times and have never had a good experience. But today's really set the bar high (or low, depending on how you look at it). The cashier working at the photo booth gave me attitude and passed me onto her Manager when I asked to have my passport photo taken. The Manager ignored me until he felt like speaking to me, and when he did he again gave me attitude. He wouldn't honor a rain check voucher I received that could be used in any CVS store for a passport photo. He proceeded to help other customers and fart around instead of calling the store that issued the voucher. They said "we can't do anything about it." After wasting a half hour of my day, I left. Management is terrible. Employees are terrible. Avoid at all costs. I'll be complaining to CVS corporate. I truly hope whoever runs this branch reevaluates who they hire, especially in management positions. I wish I knew the manager's name, but he wasn't wearing his name tag. read more
