Just moved here for college and saw how convenient this CVS is bc it's open 24/7. Me and my roommates went here to get groceries and our cashier had pink eye and was touching all of our groceries. After we got done shopping we noticed that half the things we bought were open and stale. We decided to come back a second time because I had a coupon for picture prints. I went over to the computer and out of all 4 computers there was only one that worked. After I did the whole set up, the guy with pink eye (who we knew for sure had it because he had gloves on now) came over and tried to print my recite but ended up messing up even more and I didn't even end up getting the pictures. Two days later I woke up with pink eye, I strongly recommend that people DO NOT go here!!!!!! It's completely disgusting and unsanitary. read more

i'm leaving a 1 star because i witnessed what looks like the manager yelling at his employees like they are not even human beings. it was so uncomfortable to watch as i was checking out my items and the manager in a blue button down shirt, Southeast Asian descent, YELLING at his employee which i won't put his name out on here for. His employee was another male - sales associate. he was yelling at him, scolding him because he kept missing other customers and asking them for help and that's "hurting the stores business". relax bro. you work at a CVS as a manager. you entitled a**hole. he then proceeded to scroll through his phone and kept scold his employee who came and approached him and tried to clarify that he was helping out another customer and the manager dismissed him rudely. i noticed the other cvs employees upfront were rolling their eyes every time the manager said something which makes it seem like this manager is just an entitled horrible person. hope he reads this and considers how he treats his employees especially in front of customers. do better and stop being entitled. you aren't all high and mighty bc you have a different role than your staffs who help out the store and customers while you are on your phone and doing nothing. read more

Without fail, every time I am here, I have to restrain myself from flipping out on someone, or at least breaking out the Six Sigma Black Belt's guide. It is with ire that I have to spend my entire lunch time trying to pay for a pack of Orbit and hand sanitizer. It is the only CVS in the Financial District, but you're probably much better off going to one of the many Duane Reades in the area. read more

I absolutely despise this CVS pharmacy. I have been using this pharmacy for the last 4 years and I hate it. I should change my "home" pharmacy to a different cvs because I would actually rather travel father away than deal with anyone here. My prescriptions are usually delivered by mail so I only generally use this pharmacy when I'm sick or need to pick up a prescription that's infrequent. But it makes it a 1000x worse when you're sick and the pharmacy employees are withholding medicine that will make you better. Everyone who works in this pharmacy either: A) doesn't know how to listen B) doesn't know how to read Or c) doesn't know how to use their pharmacy program properly and therefore struggles with data input My doctor faxed a prescription in. Please note: all of my information is on file! Cvs called me to "update" my information, struggled with listening and proceeded to tell me that my insurance card doesn't work. *I had just used the card previously at a different CVS to get a flu shot* I later got to the pharmacy, gave her the card and yet somehow, she still struggled to input the data and give me my prescription. The process was tedious and annoying. *eventually* I walked away with my prescription, but not before arguing with the pharmacy staff that a) this is my insurance card; b) as I've already told you, this is my most current insurance card; and c) no, I do not have another card. Anyone who deals with this cvs pharmacy should be prepared to deal with an incompetent staff. read more

It's on and off here, on one hand the pharmacy usually does a decent job of filling in orders, on the other when trying to shop for items they are usually in short supply or out of stock which is really annoying. The check out process can be difficult because there is more often than not no one there to help you check out since usually they rely heavily on self serve check out machines which keep freezing and breaking. read more

This CVS is conveniently located off the A C E lines at the Broadway Nassau station in the Financial District. Exit at the Fulton Street stairs. CVS packs a big punch into this high-people volume, clean and well maintained store. CVS seems at least 20% cheaper than shopping at Gristedes for non-grocery related items. Lines can get long but move fast and effieciently. (+3 STARS). +1 STAR for the Kodak Kiosk - view and print your digital pictures starting at $.29 a picture. Exactly what I was looking for ! ! ! This CVS does have a great location for the area but they could really organize the store better. There are a few items that have the wrong price on them and when I've directed this to the staff, they gave me a refund and then charged me the correct price on the spot but never changed the price in the aisle. They also have the WORST card selection. The one saving grace of this store is the self-checkout. read more

All drug stores are pretty much the same but I give this place a 5 stars rating because most of the staff are really friendly. They do approach you to ensure that you're finding what you need (and this happens on many of my visits). There's a certain door greeter who's always really friendly and willing to help (Shame I didn't get his name). Obviously there will always be a certain crowd who looks like they'd rather die than being at work or they enjoyed talking to each other way more than serving you but I find that to be a very tiny number of people at this CVS. It's also evident that the manager has trained the staff to be more attentive to the customers as the door greeter DOES actually greet. This doesn't even happen in retail clothing stores sometimes. They always have things on sale and there are a variety of products to buy. I actually like the self-help check out but the machines get malfunctioned very easily. The other BEST part about this CVS? This CVS location is awesome and has an extremely friendly staff. It's a little smaller than most, but I'm in here at least a couple times a week running errands. The staff is always welcoming and asking what they can help with, which is extremely appreciated when there are so many people inside. One downfall would be the lines around lunch time but they do their best to keep it moving. read more

I had a great experience with my cashier, Evalisse at the CVS on Fulton Street in FiDi yesterday. I made a purchase earlier with a different cashier who mistakenly forgot to ring up my package of Alleve. When I got home I realized I was missing the item, luckily I only live a couple of blocks away. When I returned my original cashier had left for the day. I was warmly greeted by Evalisse who found the item at the counter and happily rang me up and made sure I received the discount I was entitled to. She is a credit to the company and I would wholeheartedly recommend her for any raise or bonus available. read more

The best thing about this CVS is that it's conveniently located so its easily accessible from the 2/3 and even the 4/5 lines! I love CVS because it is always at least a dollar cheaper than Duane Reade....yes I've compared the prices :) Things like Tylenol, cough meds, mascara etc are always cheaper at CVS than Duane Reade or Walgreens. I'm taking off a couple of stars because this CVS isn't as clean and they are continually out of stock, especially those items that are on sale!! Plus they don't have enough staff so half the time you're looking around trying to find someone to answer your questions! On to the pharmacy- they are usually very busy especially starting at 5 in the evening ( I guess everybody gets off work then). The pharmacists are super super nice but unfortunately the long wait's and no waiting area make it a pain to get meds from here. I would rather walk down to the Duane Reade at 40 Wall Street and get my medications there. All in all come here if you live or work in the area because it is cheaper than Duane Reade, but don't make a special trip. Also sign up for CVS online and you regularly get emails for 25 to 30% off so that way you can save a lot more! TIP: If you live or work in the area ask the pharmacist if they will deliver your prescriptions to your door for free!! I have used the service before and it is handy!! read more

Conveniently located in the heart of FiDi, this CVS has delivered remarkable customer service both in person and over the telephone. The moment you physically enter the store, you're greeted by one or two people and quickly offered assistance should you need it. The cashiers are equally as dexterous when it comes to signaling your turn and scanning your items. When it came to placing a phone call to the pharmacy, a daunting task for any person of any age, I was greeted with not only a friendly employee, but a helpful one. When he confirmed my prescription(s), he offered additional information that could help reduce the price of them!! Personally, that sealed the deal for me and this CVS will be my new home base for all my pharmaceutical and sporadic needs. read more

Very conveniently located CVS, near everything including my job. They have everything we need including salads and sandwiches but you have to go there early morning to get the freshest stuff. Workers are usually friendly but they do have busy mornings so the lines can be very long. If you are in a hurry is not a good idea to go there at 9am. read more

Came here in need of some allergy/cold medicine. This store is really small and although they have the basic needs, this is not the greatest store. I picked up some Advil Cold and Sinus and it was significantly more expensive than Duane Reade around the block. Unless you're in a pinch or if the item is on sale, you can skip this location. The lines are always super long for such a small store even though they usually have 2 cashiers and 4 self checkouts. read more

This CVS is our favorite drug store in the world. It's 3 blocks from our apartment (we have a Duane reade 1 block away), but we almost walk the extra couple blocks to come here. Reasons why: 1. The staff is shockingly pleasant and helpful - they always have a greeter at the front door, and anytime you ask anyone for help, it genuinely seems like they're happy to assist you (and they are actually able to help!). It's crazy! 2. Open 24 hours / pharmacy has great hours too (although not 24/7) 3. Better prices than other drug stores in NYC 4. It's big and has lots of stuff Never thought I'd write a review about a pharmacy, and maybe we've just got overly low expectations from years of extremely mediocre experiences in the city, but seriously the Fulton CVS is a true gem! read more

Extremely rude pharmacists who don't listen to the customer. Every time I call or go in to pick up it's like they just want to get you in and out even if there's no line, they interrupt you when you're speaking and never ask if you'd like information about your prescription. I was on the phone with one pharmacist and couldn't get a straight answer to my question because my pharmacist kept interrupting me. These people really need some customer service training, other CVS stores are way better trained than these people. I was a little confused by the set up of this store and definitely wandered around a little excessively looking for everything on my list. I like CVS more than DR though and this isn't too far from my apartment so I will definitely be back. The line seemed daunting when I first came in but there are a lot of self-checkout stations and the line moves quickly. Also, at least when I was there, a manager was standing by for when inevitably the self-checkout system needs an override of some sort. I wish they had more of a birthday supply section (only one kind of happy birthday balloon?) but I know that isn't their specialty (unfortunately) so I won't judge them based on it. read more

Cleaner and better organized than Duane Reade and they often have great deals on cereal but their pharmacy is terrible. It is staffed by 12 year olds who look and behave as if they would rather be hanging out at the mall. They are ridiculously slow, and apathetic. After waiting 10 minutes while one pharmacy tech took one persons priscription drop off, I walked up to the counter and she ignored me for several minutes until I finally asked her "will it be much longer?" (Hello! I am have to get back to work!!) to which she replied that she had to finish inputting the person who had just left's order. She should have told me that as soon as I walked up or inputted the order after she handled the line. I wonder if there is any customer service training there what so ever. I worked one christmas season at the mall in highschool and even I know that you acknowledge the customer!! Also - if you have any questions about your medication - forget about asking anyone here. They are completely clueless unless you manage to get the attention of the actual pharmacist on duty. They are also frequently out of medication, and in my own experience they never arrive when scheduled. Its also always a million degrees hot in the store which makes long waits even more aggrevating. Despite all that they are still better than Duane Reade - but I think I am going to look for a non-chain pharmacy. I am so sick of Duane Reade and CVS and I have insurance so I pay the same out of pocket for an aggrevating experience or a good one. Screw you CVS, I don't have to put up with your crap! read more

I can't speak for the rest of the store, but I can say the pharmacy is totally incompetent. I had to switch over my rx to this pharmacy after my local one closed. Four months of straight screw ups. I mean, I'm actually concerned that these are the people dispensing our community's medication. If there is a mass regional hysteria, I think I will know why. They have failed to fill my (common) prescription within a reasonable time period every time. They always say they are out of stock, then they double charge me on my co-pay, say that my insurance company doesn't cover it without actually checking (despite the fact it's been the same for years and has always been covered... I have to make them just look at a computer to see it), etc. Having gone back and forth with them so many times, to the point where even my doctor is fed up with them, my prescriber put in the prescription two weeks early so they would have notice and we could sort out all of these kinks before it causes me another month of lapse and delay. When I called the pharmacy to check on it, the pharmacist got on the phone to say they're out of stock (again). I asked why that is if they knew for two weeks this prescription was to be filled, and her answer was, "YOU need to call US and remind us to order it. It's not MY job that it's in stock when you need it". Um, what?? I think that's exactly what her job is actually. Wasn't the prescription the notice? Either way, it's a runaround and feels like corralling a field of misguided geese. They're not just incompetent and unreliable... they also just don't give a damn. It's been four months too many. Moving on, even if it means I have to schlep all the way uptown to get my stupid medication. read more

I ordered 50 4'6 photo magnets on line yesterday. This morning at 9am I got an email telling me my order was ready for pick up. I went on lunch hour at 11. 6 block walk. When I went in and asked cashier, she went to look for it then said they are still working on it. I said why did they send email it's ready. She told me to speak to woman in photo dept. I've been going here for almost 4 years and been pretty happy. The pharmacists are friendly and helpful. The pharmacy delivers prescriptions for free. You can use the iPhone app to renew prescriptions which is nice. Staff in the rest of the store are friendly and helpful. The store itself is a little dated and not as nice as DR. I go to CVS because the store is open 24/7 and the pharmacy is open until 9pm and weekends. Prices are also way better at CVS than DR. read more

CVS boasts one of the only drug stores that still do film work and I was excited to get my rolls of film developed. Not only are the prices outrageously high, but we had to wait roughly 7 weeks for a roll of black and white 36 exposures to be developed, and 5 weeks for the color prints. Not only that, but when the black and white film was developed, the CD was missing when they gave it back to me (which is promised with the prints). The manager laughed and said it was a mistake. I was taken aback with his rudeness and his unwillingness to help us. "How's 5 dollars?" That was his solution. 5 Dollars off of a 21$ roll of film. Never going back here again! read more

Pharmacy staff are terrible and lazy. You have to be on their backs for days just for one refill. People's medicine isn't a joke. Zero work motivation and they couldn't care less about customer satisfaction. They won't let you know if something is wrong with your prescription till you call a million times. The self checkouts are always either just cash or just card or not working at all. I've seen 3 expired snacks in the store and their prices are super high. The staff watch you like a hawk and make you feel uncomfortable shopping. read more

The pharmacy is pretty incompetent. You'll receive various generics without being told they're changing them, and don't even bother with their delivery service for medication refills. Signed up to use it since my work week was busy and picked the 11am-4pm delivery time frame. I get a call at 7:45pm while I am getting home saying they are trying to deliver it at my work where no one is at that time. i call the pharmacy, they say "don't worry, they'll bring it up and we will do the time frame you signed up for tomorrow." I get a call today stating that they are unable to deliver it to my work and suggests I should transfer my medication to a different CVS. When asked if they can do the transfer, they say "no, we can't but you can get that sorted out yourself." Already angry, I call another nearby CVS and they said they cannot refill because the status says "out for delivery." So this has no become a complete mess for something that was unnecessary and full of miscommunication from their pharmacy. And I still don't have my prescriptions. read more

It's okay, better that Duane Reade, that's for sure. However, it's more expensive than the Queen's locations, they don't have most of the sale items as other locations and the lines can be crazy around lunch time. Also, I had a problem getting the EB, CVS Extra Bucks coupon on an item and the manager told me to write to CVS??? What? Not correct, the store was supposed to program it in, not tell me to write to headquarters.
