I'm only giving it one star because you have to. The list of unprofessionalism and inefficiencies is a long one at this location. This is the laziest location I've ever seen. Living in Grafton, I normally go to Millbury CVS as it's like night and day, but when you need a prescription quickly, you're forced to go local.... but the experience you get is terrible. Prescriptions take forever to be filled and sometimes you get a call/text that it's ready and sometimes you don't. They're supposed to open at 9:00, but especially at the drive thru, it's like 9:10 before you get someone to assist you. If you can avoid this location ... best that you do. Instead of addressing the issue, she took my prescription back after I'd already paid for it and said if I didn't move and come into the store, she would call the police. They have made multiple medication errors with the labels (wrong instructions) and dispensing of my medication (wrong number of pills). They also dispensed pills that were to be taken "1/2 pill each day". But the pills aren't scored and there's no way to break them. I had to go back to the store and buy a pill splitter. When I asked the pharmacist about this, she smirked and shrugged her shoulders. Couldn't have cared less. It's a good thing I'm not an 80 year old woman who has mobility issues otherwise I'd be in trouble getting back to the pharmacy to resolve these mistakes. UPDATE: I just want to add that the following Monday I went to my doctor as I said I would be and they very easily and without question called in the prescription to the new pharmacy I will be going to without any issues whatsoever and they were covered properly by my insurance, as I said they would be. CVS in Grafton is pathetic, inept and KNEW that we'd be sort out a clerical issue in literally three days and let me leave without any medication when I told them I was out over literal pennies. Trust me, they will let you die before you get the medicine you need for a couple days to sort out an insurance issue that takes minutes to handle during business hours. I would like to shout out Joe at the front cashier station. I came in looking for one KN95 mask for a family member. After looking around, I asked the pharmacist, and felt quite unwelcome and that I was an annoyance for asking if they had KN95 masks. I had a couple of other purchases, and was waiting in line when I noticed Joe. The pharmacist had indicated that I should look in front, so I asked Joe if he had any KN95s in front. I also expressed that the pharmacist was not very nice. He went into the back and provided me with 3 free KN95 masks. I really appreciated Joes customer service and caring for his customers. How is CVS still in business other than because they put every good mom and pop shop out of business? It's a nightmare every single month I put in the same order for a medicine I need to be alive. I only go because my insurance made me but I'm going to see if I can switch to Walgreens. Horrible horrible service, no communication, calling in and they tell me over phone I'm all set then I go in and they e out of the medicine. I'm just livid. read more

INEPT. disinterested. SLOW. uncaring. SLOW. I have had the same experience with every other CVS I've ever been to. I would rather poke myself in the eye with a sharp object repeatedly than try to get a prescription filled at any CVS anywhere. I have since had all my prescriptions transferred to Wegmans in Northborough, they actually gave me $10 cash for every prescription I had transferred. I made $50 for this transaction. CVS can't handle the volume of Rx's they process, plain and simple. They strive for incredibly shitty, and achieve it every time. do yourself a favor and go anywhere except cvs. Someday the DEA will catch up with them. Hopefully before someone dies. read more

Just happened to land on the pharmacy reviews, and if any of you previous reviewers make it back here, head on over to Market 32 Sutton. I pulled all my CVS prescriptions over to Market 32, actually M32 did it for me. Some of those reviews dated back to 2011 and as of 2018, CVS pharmacy remained a complete nightmare. M32 has been great. Only downside is they close early- 7pm every day. But it's worth it! read more

Staff is usually kind and responsive (in the regular part of the store). Troubles? They'll bend over backwards for you. The pharmacy, on the other hand, is a completely different matter. Rude and abrasive, they do all they can to get you the hell out of their store so they can go back to chit chatting. I sat at the counter once and waited to be served while two airheads gossiped about the concert one had attended the previous weekend and, then, I heard all about the guy she hooked up with ... in ... vivid ... detail. Looking for a pharmacy ANYWHERE within 10 miles? CVS in the "Country Plaza" (the "official" name of the plaza... I guess) is the only pharmacy throughout the small, in-the-middle-of-nowhere suburb about an hour west of Boston. Now, don't get me wrong, this isn't one of the "bad" CVS' (quite common when you get closer and closer to Boston), however it's far from the best. I stopped by after visiting the Flea Market down the street to pick up a few quick items and develop some photos before doing my grocery shopping at Stop&Shop next door. Yes, I will agree with one of the other reviews about the pharmacy. Even though I don't use it (since I live about an hour away), it looked like a disaster when I walked by. 4 people in line and multiple others waiting around. Tough to get through with my cart and just sort of annoying. Since they are the only pharmacy in town, they should definitely be better prepared. Seems like they currently don't care. The rest of the store is clean, organized and has a pretty good selection of everything. However, the store isn't huge and the aisles are very small. Very concise, as more and more of the newer CVS locations are larger, and just SO much nicer. In addition, friendly staff and good photo machines. 5 stars for the store, 2 stars for the pharmacy, 4 stars overall. End result: if you are moving to / recently moved to Grafton, find a pharmacy in one of the surrounding towns until this places fixing that section of the store. Come here for essentials like water, candy, medicine, seasonal items and for the great photo area. 4 stars read more

Or, if my Dr sends over more than one prescription they can never find one of them. The excuse is some fax bin online however, if they get one the other would come thru at the same time. So writing a review of CVS is outside of what I usually choose to review but here it goes. This review is only for this location and no CVS as a whole. I shop at other CVS locations and they are usually better experiences that what I had here the other day. So I'm driving and need to pick up a few things with a friend. I noticed the store has very narrow isles. I ended up playing "chicken" with a octogenarian because there was no way she was going to back down with her her shopping cart even though I was already perusing the foot fungal sprays. At least is wasn't hemorrhoid creams although I in know way put down anyone who suffers from hemorrhoids- horrible business. Anways, we have a handful of items as well as giant sized candy bars we grabbed at the last minute because who doesn't need a 10 lb kit kat! The check out is total anarchy. I pictured Tina Turn at the register proclaiming "TWO MEN ENTER ONE MAN LEAVES". The lady in front had picked I think literally every item in the store that she felt had a price that conflicted with what it rang up as. This involved multiple trips for show and tell with the sales person while she left my friend and myself in the line waiting with no other attendants. An elderly man had walked up to the register next to us and we were all...sure go ahead in front of us. He then saw someone he knew and proceeded to leave the line and have a full on conversation with this woman. OK, so you leave the line you should forgo your spot right. A second attendant came up and was helping a family who must have chosen random items and then decided they wanted other items. They left the line to continue shopping again while we waited. So, finally the first lady is wrapping up (it has been 15 minutes) and the elderly man jumps in front of us...you left the line! So, as CVS are not like California Condors I took my items and placed them in the nearest bin and left with my friend. I know CVS can't control customer behaviors but have a back up plan... I would never stop at this location...EVER.... read more

I can't believe I'm leaving a review for a CVS... If I could leave less than one star, my feelings for this terrible place would still not feel justified. Pharmacy staff is always uninformed, unhelpful, and unable to give anything close to an accurate wait time. If you're in a hurry - better luck elsewhere because the glacial pace that the pharmacy staff moves at borders impressive. They constantly mess up everything and then give YOU attitude about it. If you have any other options for pharmacies in your area - run as fast as you can in the opposite direction of this disaster of a store. read more

The worst pharmacy I've ever been to. They don't notify you of anything. God forbid you're on a medicine you need to live and they "run out." Well you're on your own to find it somewhere else. Good luck getting something filled if it needs a prior auth because that means the pharmacy actually has to communicate with insurance and doctors, something they are completely inept at. Walgreens, where are you?!?! We needed another bank in town like we needed a hole in the head! Tasty's torn down, Walgreens should have gone up! Went to the Doctor today and said, Dr, Mr. MD, I need some itchy stuff fixed - can I get a script for some meds - nothing like that, just something to kill the poison ivy. He sends the script to CVS Grafton, while I'm sitting with him - around 1:30pm. Stopped by around 5pm to pick it up - no record of any script. I leave and call again at 6:40pm, I'm told it's there, it will be ready in 20 minutes. The final kick in the jimmy comes when I hang up the phone, and 15 minutes later, my friend the computer calls me and tells me my script is ready for pick up! Does this sound fishy to anyone else but me? I'm thinking if I had as much time to sit around waiting with the other 10 people, one with a medical mask, one looking green, they might have 'found' it quicker. Anywhere is better to pick up a prescription than this CVS. read more

As has been said, the main part of the store is pretty good. The pharmacy? A holy terror. Always PACKED with people, line up the aisle, people in chairs, cars around the drive-thru... There is no easy way in. I hate this place, but as others have said, its the only one in town. Here's my "for instance": I am a migraine sufferer. My doc called in my script over 2 weeks ago, and I have stopped in several times to retrieve it. The reply was always: "Its not ready yet. Do you want to wait?" Now, I usually have my kids with me, so unless they would like a cleanup in Aisle 1, waiting 20 minutes isn't really an option... So I tend to come back later. Today I sent my Hubs to pick up my script yet again, and we got a letter (not the script) telling us that "Unfortunately we do not have enough of the medication to fill your entire prescription for you at this time." ARE YOU SERIOUS?? How incompetent do you have to be for it to take 2 weeks to make this realization? Why couldn't this common medication be ordered in the course of two weeks? Bad, bad, bad show, CVS. You should be ashamed. read more

Not normally in my travels, I stopped here earlier this week to grab a few things. Store was neat, I was easily able to find what i needed. The store was pretty busy, yet there was plenty of help up front at the check out. From what I've read here, I'm happy I didn't need to visit the pharmacy. read more

They never seem to have anything in stock, they also tell you there aren't constraints that are not true in Massachusetts law. The pharmacy techs are super kind and personable but the pharmacists and the management have made it so the pharmacy is incredibly frustrating to work with. read more

Over a year since my last review and we're still having issues... Two days ago I called the pharmacy asking if the pharmacy technicians at the Grafton CVS could contact the pharmacy technicians at the Easton CVS to transfer one of my prescriptions over. This is a routine procedure that I have never had a problem with at Rite Aid or even Wal Mart. The woman I spoke with on the phone assured me that my prescription would be ready that day. Two days later, and it was still not ready. Did the person I spoke with on the phone just completely disregard my request after we disengaged? Extremely unprofessional. All I have to say is let's all be very thankful that the medicine I was trying to get was not life or death or CVS would have a much bigger problem on their hands than a disgruntled customer read more

Three stars is usually my rating for one of those extremely big chain stores that put every family owned business 6 feet under. Its always awkward for me to go in here because I know a lot of the workers from school. But anyway, its clean, no one ever breaks in, remember it is in Grafton and it does have a fast picture development service, if you can figure out how those damn machines work. read more

This is one of the better CVS' around, in my experience. Perfect? No. But a significantly better experience than the CVS I used to frequent (Uxbridge). This has to be the absolute WORST pharmacy in Central MA. They are totally incompetent. They over charge for prescriptions, they never have my insurance info in the computer, the prescriptions take forever to be filled, I could go on and on. I've been there several times and they always manage to screw something up. I can't speak to the regular part of the store, but I would recommend avoiding the pharmacy part- drive into Worcester or Millbury to fill your prescriptions. The staff are abrasive and discourteous. 1 out of 10 times my prescriptions are ready when they say they are - whether a Dr. calls them in or a refill. Recently I had to call 3 times to get them to contact my doctor for a refill and by the last time I was begging them to call as I was out of my medication. I am switching pharmacies and recommend you do the same. read more

This place is horrible! If there's another pharmacy nearby go to it. During our most recent experience, our four-month-old daughter's doctor called in a prescription at 4:30 PM, my wife drove from the doctors office to pick it up at 4:45 PM and was told it would be another 25-30 minutes. Fast forward to when I stop by to pick it up at 6:45 PM. When I arrived at the counter I was told it would be a few more minutes. 15 minutes later I received the medication. I have been going to this pharmacy for about 5 years and it seems the staff behind the counter becomes less motivated by the visit. Today after a Dr apt I went in to pick up my medication. I walked in said hello and got a blank stare for the boy behind the counter. I then told him my name and off he went to look. He came back and asked me when it was called in and when I told him only about 15 min ago he said it was defiantly not ready. When I asked how long it would be he said 20 min. Then asked me if I wanted to wait as if to say "who would wait 20 min" I said yes and he kinda rolled his eyes as if I was crazy. Then the next min the other guy yells my name and puts my medication in the basket. This all took about 3 Min's. Glad I decided to wait. 3 Min's vs 20 min is a huge difference. My real pet peeve is the fact that they have no people skills what so ever. Anyway just wanted to see if its just me or if they treat all of their customers as an inconvenience. Oh well... read more

This pharmacy is absolutely obnoxious. I've lived in many towns and dealt with various pharmacies and I have never seen one that is so awful. They never have our prescriptions, once they do find them, they are NEVER ready on time (I'm talking waiting an extra 40min-2hours on a regular basis), and the customer service is horrible. I will gladly drive an extra 20-30 minutes to another pharmacy so I do not have to deal with this pharmacy. read more

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Everything I go to get a prescription filled they never have it. I have had a few occasions where I dropped the prescriptions off to be picked up later that day. They said ok it will be ready in an hour. I went to pick it up, they said there was no prescription for me. 10 minutes later after checking they said they didn't have it. Waste of time. My wife had a prescription also, they called and said it was ready for pickup. I went to pick it up and they said it wasn't ready yet and if I could come back an hour later. So I did only to find out they didn't have it. I don't know who operates this place but something needs to be done. My prescription is pretty common considering the other pharmacies have it all the time. This has been going on for over 3 years now. Why don't I just go to another pharmacy?
