I am 73 years old and have a severe hearing loss. I wear hearing aids. I went to the pharmacy to pick up my prescription and was greeted by a very, very soft spoken woman. I asked her to speak up, but I still couldn't hear her. I would bet that 70-80% of the pharmacy's customers are seniors, and a large number of them have hearing loss to some degree. Why would a pharmacy have a soft spoken person working the counter? She was not properly trained and not suited for the job. read more

They lie at the pharmacy and say due to "state regulations or insurance protocol" nothing controlled can be filled until day 30. Not true! I confirmed with the state and insurance that 28 days is the legal regulation. Walmart now fills all my scripts for me and I have no issues. I don't appreciate the lying! read more

Every time I go in there the guy managing the store is rude to customers and his employees. Every request or question is a huge inconvenience for him--especially when the tags on his shelves don't match the price at the register and he has to take 30 seconds to fix his own mistake. Today I looked at the cashier and said "wow, he's a barrel of laughs," to which she replied, "yeah." :/ I hope he gets the help he needs. read more

Once again a complaint regarding the pharmacist at CVS in Millbury MA. I question her competence and certainly the customer service. Twice a prescription has been called in. Twice it has been filled and ready to pick up with text reminders. Twice the pharmacist has stated the doctor needs to approve - as he did... a week earlier with repeat calls. Twice the script has been ready to pick up, actually in the bin. Twice I was effectively denied the prescription due to the questionable pharmacist. Never once have I been able to pick up a prescription at CVS Millbury without an issue or problem which repeats ever time. Never had a problem at two other CVS nearby. Thanks CVS for denying me needed meds once for a week... CVS strongly needs to fix the vast problems... Start in Millbury. read more

First off just wanted to say the cashier was rude had to nerve to tell me how i should wear my mask told her i couldnt put it over my nose due to breathing and she told me "well none of us can breathe but we still put it over our nose" um rude read more

On the plus side, the store was clean and well stocked. Of course this was offset by the staff, or lack of it. I should have known I was in for trouble by all of the cars in the parking lot. I did not notice any employees as I walked around the store, though there were plenty of customers. As I approached the front of the store to check out, I was met with one long line and two cashiers, one of which was also the photo department employee. Just to make things more interesting, one of the cashiers was being tied up by a complaining customer. Anyone think to call for help? Maybe even a manager. Good help must be hard to find. read more

Just moved to Millbury 5 months ago and decided to try CVS as it was so much closer than the Walgreens I had previously used. I've tried to fill 2 prescriptions. First time I waited and they told me they did not have my medication. The second time I dropped off in drive through. Got a text from them day later stating it was being ordered. I waited a couple days then called them. The pharmacist told me they were waiting for my doctor to call them back with prescription for a different dosage. I had never given permission for them to try to change my prescription!! When I questioned why I wasn't called to give my permission pharmacist just told me to come pick up my original prescription. I will travel to use Walgreens. read more

I wish I could give a lower rating for this sad excuse of a pharmacy. This is by far one of the worst CVS Pharmacies I have ever been to. For the past five month this location has never let me down in screwing up my prescriptions. If you want to regularly run out of meds, get attitudes from the pharmacy staff, and receive no help whatsoever definitely come to the Millbury CVS. They will exceed your expectations in ruining everything. read more

I recently had a phone discussion with Becky about a prescription price and she acted totally annoyed that I was calling. All I wanted to know was how much CVS charged for a particular prescription and she told me they didn't set the rates the Insurance companies did and to call my Insurance co (which I already had done).It will be the last time we use them! Horrible pharmacy! Always a huge line and no staff. If you go through the drive-thru and there is one car in front of you, you will be waiting at least 15-20 min. They also never call if there is an issue with a prescription. You have to call them or go there to find out why its not ready. I waited 7 days for them to fill my last one. I have been a long-time customer at the CVS in Millbury. In general, I have never had a reason to complain about anything major - until today. While I am very satisfied with the Pharmacy Department, today I was treated horribly by one of the front of the store cashiers (an older, heavy-set woman). I paid for two cosmetic items at the pharmacy counter along with a prescription. On the way out, I noticed that the price on the receipt was much higher than the tag on the display. I asked one of the cashiers to check for me - I could tell that she was annoyed at my request. I showed her the price tag on the display at which time she said, "well that's not it, you're wrong." She then went to a hidden bin under the display, pulled out a list of price stickers and pointed to one and said rudely "this is the right price". She then put the price tags back under the display. When I told her that perhaps she should put the correct tag on the display so that this didn't happen to other customers, she started literally yelling "I've been here 27 years and this has never happened to anyone - just you. " At the front counter when I asked to just return the items she continued chastising me loudly in front of other customers and the other cashier that was working. The second cashier was wonderful and while trying to help me, the first cashier continued yelling that I wouldn't listen to her. I told her that I was done dealing with her at which point her anger escalated and she threw my receipt and items on the counter and stormed off still yelling. I was humiliated and mortified at her treatment, especially in front of a store full of customers. After many, many years as a CVS customer, I will now transfer my prescriptions and my business to the Rite Aid up the street. read more
