This location has convenient parking around the building outside of their own parking lot. Going into look for a supplement and I identified 2 but needed pharmacy consult. I stood at the consult window while 2 pharmacy personnel reviewed something on the computer for over 3-4 mins. Yes, those minutes can be long when you're patiently waiting for help. I did hear one speak saying we'll be right with you. I was able to decipher from reading the ingredients what I needed to know and proceeded to self checkout, which made the rest of my visit a breeze. read more

Absolutely appalling service from the new pharmacist Brittany. Not only was she beyond unpleasant and ridiculously rude she implied I had no clue how my prescription was written nor how to take it. She refused to fill a needed medication. read more

I requested delivery of insulin expedited that day was assured I would get it with additional charge that day. I was charged $7.29 for expedited service. I did not get it till next day. I've been trying to get refund since Nov 30. Cvs says contact Roadie the delivery service they did not bill me they do not have my credit card info to credit. Cvs & Roadie keep going back and forth. Cvs says they can not contact Roadie what a crock. I've asked mgrs @ Cvs to call me no contact. This is terrible customer service. But when they want a review I'm contacted. Go figure. I also was double charged on a online order that I paid for immediately @ they did not close out order now I'm billed twice I've been on phone with 6 people over 1 hour 30 min & no one can help me what crap!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

I was told in store, that could return items with a receipt. 24hrs later, I was told I can no longer return said items?? I understand COVID-19 and the safety concerns, but your "managers" are not informed and, therefore, completely incompetent. I will never return to this store and plan on telling everyone I know, via yelp & social media about this ridiculous lack of leadership/communication. I stopped going to other pharmacies since I found this one. I live in the River Market and have made this CVS my preferred stop. They are open 24 hours which is WONDERFUL when in the middle of the night you need anything from pain relievers to a snack. It is clean, very well stocked, with very friendly staff, lots of parking, and no sketchy people around... which in the case of a 24-hr spot it is very important to me as a young woman. They also have a redbox located outside! Painkillers, ice cream cones and a movie all on one spot! If you live near the area, I really do recommend it. It is really so convenient. read more

I love this CVS store. I live in north kansas city and it's the only store that is open 24 hours. Always fully staffed, it gets really busy around lunch time and after work times, but they always have extra people to help checkout. They always have sale prices and extrabuck deals displayed and the staff knows about extrabucks, how they work, what the current deals are, etc. It is pricey, like any drugstore, but if you like to coupon and combine it with extrabuck rewards, this is a great place. read more

This is my first, and likely only, Yelp review. Their pharmacist, specifically the gentleman who is slightly heavy set, with thining hair, seems strive to make people feel like they are anything but. Before me, there was an elderly woman on Medicare that didn't understand why her Rx couldn't be filled. His suggestion was to call the provider and find out yourself, followed by a swift dismissal and walked away. JUST WALKED AWAY. So, my turn is up, and I am attempting to drop off my Rx to pick up later. The gal helping me went to ask this pharmacist something, and comes back to explain that my insurance is denying coverage. Now, keep in mind as you read what happens next that he is standing, at Max, 7 feet from me. She walks over to ask him, and I can hear him giving a reason, and she comes back. I ask another question, this time she only turns towards the pharmacist, and he gives the answer to her. It didn't make much sense, because her and I very clearly were not privy to his vast knowledge, and his sighs and visual annoyance confirmed that he believed because we didn't just know, we were idiots. This time I ask the question directly to him.....instead of answering me, he stood behind the podium with the computer in he middle of the pharmacy area, and gave the answer to the other employee, intentionally skipping over me, as if I were a toddler that couldn't grasp what he was saying. Look, I get it, that job probably has some really stressful moments, but this is exactly what he got a higher education for. This is what he chose to do. Perhaps CVS should invest in some training courses teaching their employees how to not act like a pompous jerk. It is really sad when pharmacists at Walmart are more professional than him. *I have never had an experience like this at any other CVS location. This is a constant occurrence for customers that visit that location regularly. read more

I really don't know why I'm writing a review about CVS for gods sake, but here I am writing about it. CVS is pretty handy to go to when you need something like candy, medicine, toys, hair products etc. You can even print photos there and get a check up there. There are a few problems though. One time when I really needed eggs I went over to CVS to get some, but they didn't have any. They often do, but when I really need them, they don't have them, or they don't look so good. Same goes true with their milk and their staff are a HUGE help when it comes to the fresh produce of what little that they have of produce. Half of the time it takes me longer to get my question across then it takes for me to finally find it. So next time if I need something I'll go to Dollar General or Save-A-Lot. read more

Tried to go to the clinic for a flu shot. Checked in online and got a code to enter when I got there. The kiosk did not accept the code and I know my name, the only information to enter. No one around who knew anything about the kiosk issue, apparently they don't hire staff for the clinic, they just have closed doors and are expected to wait. What's worse is the waiting area is at the employee area so there's a stream of people going by. Guess privacy isn't important for a medical clinic. The wait was supposed to be 25 minutes and checking in holds your spot, so when you get there you have no wait. I gave up after another 30 minutes proving the wait time is a joke. Called support and they said they couldn't do anything, apparently clinic support doesn't support the clinic check-in process????? I won't be back to try this clinic. I already do my phrarmacy shopping elsewhere. read more

I would say that the customer service is great, the workers at CVS are friendly and very helpful in attending your needs. What I love the most about this particular CVS is that it is open 24/7 so whenever I need to pick up medication for my family or myself, the Pharmacist are great at providing information about medications and are always welling to help their customers find over the counter medications and supplements. Also like it is 24/7 , it's nice to get your personal items without worrying about the time. The prices seem fair and have great discounts if your a member ! I recommend that you become a member, those little savings make a big change in your wallet through out the year ! read more

This is more a review of a product than the employees or place.. (this CVS is in a great locale, the employees are always helpful and it is a 24 hour store). My review is for the generic Allegra-D they sell at CVS. I take Allegra-D for my allergy shots to keep reactions down that day. I thought I would save some bucks on the generic (the regular is 25 bucks or so for a small package of 12 hour pills, the generic is 15 or so for about five more tablets). The ingredients look the same, but somehow, when taking the generic, it doesn't work the same at all in the body. Allegra-D leaves me feeling like I haven't taken anything while leaving me with obviously clear airways.. I take the D version specifically because it keeps me from being knocked out for a day plus when I take them. The generic D however, makes me sleepy and unfocused for a day and a half each tablet, leaving me with labored breathing. I tried them once and thought it was just me and went back to the full price Allegra-D. Then, I made the mistake of buying another box of the generic, took one and lost a day of my life and was miserable. Something is off or lacking in their generic version regardless of what the ingredients say. The second box, I tried to return after taking only one, and they wouldn't swap them out even with a receipt because they apparently don't exchange anything with pseudoephedrine in it.. 17 bucks down the drain. As a consumer, I am used to businesses telling me when something cannot be exchanged upon purchase, so I was surprised that they wouldn't let me switch it out, given that this was not denoted on the receipt nor mentioned. I would also think as a pharmaceutical type store, they would want to keep a tally of this type of reaction for their generics for quality control and knowledge of allergic reactions due to that issue. Also, I am writing this on Yelp because it is incredibly difficult to find the CVS generic Allegra-D on the CVS site and at the same time, I want general internet searchers to be able to find this review so they don't make the same mistake. I won't buy meds from them again based on this policy (Costco has the actual Allegra-D for 16 bucks) but I will continue to shop at the CVS because they are convenient and the people are great. read more
