I just went to this CVS Pharmacy to buy insulin needles, and because I don't purchase insulin through you guys, you refused to sell me the needles. That's fine, I'll just order them online and have them delivered to my house. It's policies like this that make it easier to understand why so many of your locations are shutting down across the country. I don't always find what I'm looking for & think their prices are high. I'll never again use the pharmacy since a CVS pharmacy while I was living in California gave me the wrong dosage of Thyroid medication; I was overdosed which created my heart to beat too fast. This also enlarged my heart a little bit. I have a Medicare Advantage plan that requires me to use CVS for over the counter OTC items that I pay for with a CVS Visa card that is funded every quarter. What I need to buy or have a brand preference I usually can't find there. I prefer Walgreens pharmacy for my RX, but use CVS for my OTC purchases. read more

Went to this location 10 minutes before close to grab one last minute item. I got there, the doors didn't open and a customer inside told the worked and told me to wait a second so he could open the door. not sure why the doors were already locked before actual close? I wait a few minutes and when he (the black male worker) unlocks the door to let the customers out, he tells me the store is closed. It wasn't even 10 yet and I only had 1 item to buy and with card at that matter! He didn't have to do anything. Waste of my time waiting. At least once a week (probably more), the drive-thru is "broken." This pharmacy's staff doesn't realize how important it is for disabled people to be able to use the drive-thru, yet, it is always "broken." It's just an excuse because they feel understaffed and underpaid. read more

I needed some cookies for a recipe I wanted to make and CVS has been out of stock for a few weeks now, so the employee told me a shipment would come in today. I went into the store and Natalie was not helpful she lied and said she would check in the back, instead she helped another (white) customer and told me that there were none in stock. So I decided to leave, while I was in my car I saw the customer who she was helping and asked him about it he verified that she never checked the inventory, so I called the store and asked to speak to the manager but Natalie answered the phone and hung up on me. I called back and got Natalie and asked for her manager Amanda who I explained everything to and she hung up on me as well. I intend to contact a regional manager and pursue the issue. read more

Went to this location on 12/2 to get my kids their second dose of the covid vaccine. Stood there for about 5 minutes before someone helped me, which is fine, as it was pretty busy in the pharmacy. I did not get the ladies name that helped me, but when she came up I told her I wanted to get my kids' second dose of the covid vaccine, and I wanted the booster. She asked if we had an appointment, I did not, as I wasn't sure what time I would be able to get to this side of town after work. She told me that at this location they do not do walk-ins for the vaccine. Would have been totally okay if there was a sign saying that. Instead there was a sign right on the counter that said that there would be a longer wait time for walk-ins. Which meant that walk-ins are welcome. My frustration is the wasted time and the lack of communication on CVS' part. read more

As one idiot savante said once about life, this store is like a box of chocolates. Why? Because you never know what you'll find here. I've been coming to this Craig Road drug store since 2008 when I visit family. It's only about 2 miles from my sister's house. And it's like 7-11 when I need something quick, like men's grooming stuff, sodas, magazines for my flight back to OC, snacks, and medicine. Some of my relatives have even had prescriptions filled when their regular pharmacist was closed. At times, there might be up to 4-5 people in line but most of the time, I'm in an out of there faster than I can eat a chocolate. It's catty corner from the Mormon run Desert Industries Thrift store, and across Craig from the Shell station. In Christmas 2011, CVS actually helped save my Christmas. The family gathered in Vegas like we always do. I bought my mom what she wanted, a not too fancy black or grey rain repellent jacket from the mall. Since I didn't want her to have to return it, I gave it to her on Christmas Eve, early in case something was wrong. And nothing was really wrong...it's just that she hinted she preferred a jacket with a detachable hood. "Oh, this hood isn't detachable.." Even clueless me can take that hint. Like any good son or daughter, it was a mad sprint to the car and mall. I went back to the mall, which I hated. Driving there I felt like a cab driver in New York City, everyone was rude, crude, and stressed. No one had the right size or color...all their stuff was picked over. Frustrated, defeated, and driving back, I took a break and went into this CVS store for a soda, and checked out their boxed cologne sets. Like a "Miracle on 3655 Craig Road", there was a rain repellent jacket, medium weight, in black, with a detachable hood. Clothing at CVS? Exactly what she wanted for $20! And I had a few $20's to give her for gambling at Aliante casino. And, I will just refund the other jacket in Cali since I have the receipt. The cashier was brand new, but really nice. And during Christmas mass above her imported silk dress, my mom wore the new inexpensive and very useful coat from CVS, the Coat Value Store. Not really, but it was a good day. read more

This is the worst pharmacy ever. Every single time I try to drop off a prescription there is an issue. I have had to go back to my doctor's office every single time I get a prescription because they find something wrong. It is such a pain in the ass. They have the ability to call the doctor and verify your prescription but they absolutely refuse to do it. They treat you like a drug seeker no matter how legit your Rx is, or the fact that you get the same refills, from the same doctor, and same Rx every time. This is the THIRD TIME they've done this to me. Today the issue was "the date looked like it was tampered with". I went up the street to a different pharmacy and got my medicine within 15 mins. You people should be ashamed of yourselves. They are awful and unapologetic and treat you like a criminal when you try to get anything, even antibiotics. Ridiculous. I waited 30 minutes for medication. And was in line before the customers that came, they were in and out. All I needed were two pills. The ladies had bad attitudes, I felt discriminated against because, my insurance did not process through. I asked them for any type of discounts, because I'm not working and I'm on long-term disability. Due to congested heart failure. No remorse, no genuine acts of kindness. I just have one thing to say, if you have Worker's Compensation and you need any medication for it your injury do not, I repeat, do not, go to CVS for them to be filled. They will not fill them. I had to do all of the leg work to get my medications completed and filled. They did nothing, at least nothing that I could see because I was the only one that got them filled. If you would've asked me two months ago who's the best pharmacy in Las Vegas was, I would've said it would've been this store. read more

customer service is awful. i was looking to get my film developed and verified on the cvs website that they DO offer film processing (i've also done it before at another location). i walk in at 7pm (they close at 8pm) and politely ask the cashier if they offer film processing, she mumbles "uh let me check" and rummages through a drawer of papers. at the same time, 2 other customers walk up to the register, so she glances at them then grabs my film off the counter and says "let me ask my manager". she returns not even 5 seconds later, shoves my film into my chest, and without looking at me says "we dont do that here, sorry about that" and proceeds to help the next customer. i decided not to argue or question it and instead went to the cvs down the street where the cashier very kindly and promptly submitted my film for processing. perhaps the first cashier didn't feel like working since she'd be closing in an hour but regardless, it was extremely unprofessional and i now regret not asking for a manager. read more

So I'm going to be very blunt and TMI since the customer service named Amanda was . I'm a women and I've been dealing with BV a vaginal infection. I was prescribed pills before and they didn't work but were ver hard to swallow. Big chalky . So my pelvic pain progressed and turns out pills never helped. This time I changed my medication from pills to gel. It would be easier to take. My doctor ordered both and the gel was 40 where the pills were only 7 dollars . I opted to the pills I called on my lunch and they said they'd have pills ready and gel placed on hold . The pills were to be moved from other cvs to one closer to my house . When I arrived Amanda helped me I explained to her the situation and she said that I probably called Walgreens . That really upset me because she wanted to take no accountability. I'm like um no I didn't call Walgreens and how could they verify all my medication. Then in a very degrading manor she printed out my "profile " and decide to loudly read out load that I had a vaginal medication. It felt very intentional. I'm so disappointed with the customer service I received. Specially being a hardworking citizen calling on my lunch break and doing this a head in advance . So I could be made out to be a liar and embarrassed. read more

This is my alternative CVS pharmacy when I choose not to pop on over to my preferred location at the corner of Decatur Boulevard and Ann Road. It's a perfectly fine CVS for front-of-the- store shopping when you need personal care items, over-the-counter medications and the like. The employees are invariably friendly and extremely helpful whenever you can't find what you're looking for. However, I cannot recommend the pharmacy which usually appears to be deader than a doornail. If you compare it's staffing and activity level to that of my preferred CVS location mentioned at the begining of this review, you'll know what I mean. read more

I had to change locations the staff at the pharmacy give me someone else's medication also they gave me the wrong milligrams on my kids meds also mine some of the employee's don't pay attention and they are slacking even my insurance had to call them to fix the mistake they didn't want to fix with me. I just came to CVS, literally! I live right down the street so this has always been the quick picker up store for me. I came in a rush to buy condoms because I was to lazy to head to another gas station. But when CVS was charging me over 8 bucks for a 3 pack when the gas station is only charging me 3 dollars for the same pack! So i placed the box of condoms back and walked back towards my car. They make you wait even when they have no customers at the counter or drive through. Also you better not ever need the meds quickly it always take 5-6 hours to fill anything on any given day. I had my prescription sent there from my Dr office and when I went to pick it up I was told they did not have it in stock that was Wednesday and it's Friday and they still don't have it and was told today that it's not something that they normally carry..... so I am taking my business back to Walmart where I don't seem to have a problem filling it there before. Atiyah was patient while I searched for a coupon (only to find out it was expired) but she said I had 14 days to use it, still unable to. They have Arizona on sale 2/1.00 great deal especially if you like iced tea and I do, she also informed me that I can purchase a case mix/match. I am from out of state and my doctor called in a Rx what was pretty emergent. I pull up to the drive through and the tech told me there was nothing here for me and I needed to come in. We walk in and the same pharmacist told me that my insurance card wasn't insurance but that it was workers comp. I explained to her that it was my insurance card and that it is accepted everywhere. I called today 8/23 @9am to confirm my insurance would pay for certain vaccinations since I would be traveling abroad. I should note I had talked to my insurance and they said vaccines are covered as long as I stay in network. CVS is our recommended pharmacy. The gal that answered the phone didn't identify herself and while I typical get names, she was already PISSED at the world. I explained the nature of my call and she immediately said she couldn't tell me over the phone. I told her I was looking at a piece of paper that showed certain types of vaccines and that insurance was accepted. She told me again "flu shot" are not covered by insurances and she couldn't tell me over the phone in a tone that implied I was an idiot but my insurance would be able to give me that information. I forgot what I said next because she was extremely bothered that I had the audacity to disturb her morning by calling seeking information. I was then told the only way to know would be to process it. So I said "so what you're telling me I need to go in." She said yes and I told her that I need to go in and show proof of insurance. I didn't realize with my last statement I had implied she was to give me her first born. She told me no and continued to use "flu shot". I said I wasn't calling about a flu shot but rather vaccinations recommended to travel abroad. I was then told they didn't do that. I told her I was staring at a piece of paper (which I printed today at 840am) that had a list of vaccinations that mentioned were given. She said it was wrong and unless it's a mini clinic, they are not done there. I told her I was staring at the address for that location and incidentally is how I got the number to call the location....she used a term of endearment-sweetheart when relaying the next piece of information. I would love to say it was a genuine endearment but it wasn't. Towards the end of the call, I had copped an attitude as I struggled to refrain from cussing her out. A little earlier in the call, I didn't reply to her because I was busy biting my tongue. To her credit she didn't hang up but I enjoyed the multiple hellos from her to see if I was still on the line. I ended up apologizing in the same sincere way she called me sweetheart. Before I hung up I told her I wanted to pass on the feedback about the inaccurate information. Response-"I will let my boss know." No, I won't be going in and now I know why I won't and will not use CVS because I have no doubt I'm not the first customer that has experienced her charm. Yes, we all have our bad days including myself. But I've been in Customer Service for MANY years and I work at a place where that is top priority and I can honestly and happy to say, I've NEVER extended that type of service to anyone. read more
