Came in to buy a few makeup items! Nicely organized. The only thing may be that you will see a lot of unhoused people outside this location. As I was driving in one threw a bottle of water at my car. Completely scared me. He walked away across the street so nothing big happened and no damages to my car. So why the 4, bc I get my makeup here and I get tons of coupons too! I have never had an issue until today. Most of the people outside will not bother you. Just be mindful that there may be some characters outside but not the businesses fault. read more

My Dad has been having respiratory problems and also dealing with Pulmonary embolisms and multiple blood clots in his leg. In other words- he complicated. He had a hideously scary night of coughing 2 nights ago. I called CVS Pharmacy and spoke to George Pharmacist. Explained he'd just been diagnosed with Chronic Bronchitis due to unknown allergy. George reviewed all his prescriptions and over the counter meds and recommended switching him to plain Mucinex at night and using Delsym cough suppressant. (We choose grape liquid.) Has only needed 1 nebulizer breathing treatment early this morning and no audible wheezing today! Cough became rare instead of insistent. Thank You George!! read more

Mix up prescriptions. Claim they don't receive prescriptions from the doctor when the doctor's office confirms receipt from CVS. Fill prescriptions that have been archived and not used for a couple years. Their APP is working as it should. Mixed up canceled orders and refills. read more

I stopped here while I had some time to kill in Oxnard. I bought a soda and a candy bar and browsed for a while. The store was clean and well lit. Isles were wide with well-organized products. This isn't a huge store but it's decent sized and has a fair variety of stuff from dairy in the refrigerator to pantry foods, school/office supplies, greeting cards, personal hygiene, makeup, and of course the pharmacy. The staff member at the front register was polite and professional. The parking lot was a little confusing as it wraps around and joins to that of other stores, but overall my visit was good and I would stop here again for drug-store purchases if I'm in the area. read more

This CVS pharmacy in the Collections in Oxnard is obviously too busy. I called to get a refill and the automated voice said he was having trouble submitting my refill request and transferred me to speak with a pharmacist. After going through all the questions my call was dropped. After 4 times I decided to press the button saying I was a doctors office. My call was dropped 3 times. If this was the first time I wouldn't bother with this review but it has happened on numerous occasions. I called the corporate office in Woonsocket, RI and after their questions my call was dropped. Went to pick up my fathers prescription and all of a sudden my dads medical insurance isn't working. Gave me attitude because I told her it worked at another pharmacy and at the hospital. She said "that's different" and said I would have to pay for it. I went back in line and another worker helped me out and the rude ass lady from before basically screamed "ARE YOU GOING TO PAY FOR IT". She wasn't even helping me so next time she should just mind her own business and do her damn job right instead of talking to her coworkers about being dehydrated. read more

Pharmacist put the order on someone else's name and said they had nothing for me. I saw the guy that took my order and pointed him out and when he came over he pretended he didn't remember me after I gave him my prescription less than an hour ago. I guess this pharmacy in my observation appears they are abusing atleast elders. So I feel it's my civic duty to right to the people to take note on what is going on. Urgent care called in prescriptions for me and I asked them not to fill a certain one. I go and pick up and there was a script from 6wks prior that they refilled and failed to tell me. I called n asked to speak with pharmacist I told him I never called in this refill if I could return the bag with the medicine. Their policy is NO. I asked how can they do this. They have no knowledge if the doctor discontinued my use or I was allergic Travis reiterated that I had to be on auto refill and he would remove. Thank God all my faculties are with me. Some elder people might not recognize this. Back to the issue he goes into their system and behold it was not on auto refill!!! They screw the Insurance abusing handicap and elders not to mention my pockets for the cost I have to pay or YOU! I asked if it was a narcotic would you just fill they reiterated again NO. Seems to me CVS is abusing the Insurance private or otherwise i.e. medicare, medical aka Gold Coast. This is a tragedy since there are so many problems with health care and CVS is just adding problems to people that may not have the $ or maybe the doctor said don't take. Well was not on auto refill so the following month I get an auto call saying my Medicine ready for pick up???? I asked which one it was the same one. I told them I DID NOT CALL IT IN. I CAN NOT take it. They now say my Dr. Phoned in the refill! My God how many out there who have Dr's that would do this It's a laughable statement but I had to call to verify his nurse has been out of office till 6/08/17. Awaiting answer tomorrow. But since they DC the prescription for now I hardly think they would phone a 2nd refill. I implore you to verify your medicine to make sure that this don't happen to you. I will write to my health insurance, attorney general, I don't know if they have a state or federal place that governs there actions like Dr's have The AMA Board that you can complain too. So I am still researching since it happened again with another family member at CVS Ventura Rd both in Oxnard. Maybe they think if you are a certain age they will fill get there money and elders will never notice. I just pray it won't happen to someone that found out they went into anaphylaxis shock and could not longer use. I hope this helps. Remember once you get they will not take back.
