Literally the absolute worst CVS I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with, and my main CVS for years was located adjacent to Methadone Mile in Boston- to provide context. The store routinely has bare shelves, and very little product. The clientele of the store consists largely of people who appear to be drug users, with a collection loitering in front of the store. Staff are not welcoming. This morning their entire system was down. Meaning no credit card payments, bo pharmacy, nothing. I have a prescription I am supposed to pick up, before a flight today. The pharmacist was like our system is down and there's a technician coming in a few hours. You can call another pharmacy and ask them to transfer it. When I asked if she could, she said their phones were down. The other pharmacy said because my prescription was at the store they couldn't transfer it yet. I escalated the issue to National customer support and received a resolution. However, it turns out that the Squire Road pharmacy had actually refilled the wrong prescription when I called; luckily the new store caught that mistake. All in all I do not recommend going to this store- I sill be changing pharmacy locations as soon as possible. read more

The update of CVS is for the photo kiosk department. This is a fabulous thing you can hook up your cell phone and download all your photos you can connect via Wi-Fi and send one or two photos you can use the app and do it from home and pick the photos up later in the day. This is fantastic. I sat at the kiosk I connected by Wi-Fi I had a photo in about a minute they print out instantly. Once again this CVS pharmacy has screwed me on one of my three month prescription supply, they continue to try to give me a one month prescription on one of my medications and by doing this, they make more money at my expense. The prescription in question, is the same price for a three month supply as it is for a one month supply, and of course now they want me to pay full price for a second month supply due to insurance not covering the cost because they already paid for the three months allowance. Of course now I will need to pay the entire cost if I want to continue to take my medication on a daily basis. This has been an ongoing battle with the pharmacy for several years, I need to think about switching to a new pharmacy, although Caremark owns CVS, they still will make money off of me, however not as much. Such greed specifically during this time where inflation has gone through the roof and doesn't seem to have an end in site. read more

Walked in today and OMG... It smelled soo bad!!! Like trash almost... Then I started walking around for certain things & this CVS had nothing I wanted... Needed to then print some pics & was able to do that effortlessly but otherwise the smell was just annoying the whole time we were there... This place is a mess. Empty shelves everywhere and littered with merchandise all over the floor. Got a photo taken at the photo center for my passport and how unprofessional of them. It was a pretty bad experience to say the least. The parking is plentiful but the set up was so cluttered, don't be surprised if you come back and there are dings all over your car because the spots are all over the place. read more

This is by far the WORST CVS I have ever encountered in the entire United States. I recently moved to Revere 6 months ago and began using this pharmacy to fill my prescriptions. It has been nothing but bad experience after bad experience since then... Last month when I went to pick up my prescriptions from CVS Pharmacy the pharmacist asked me if I had isopropyl alcohol at home. I was confused by his question because I was unfamiliar with the product and said no. He then told me that the Pharmacy was out of this ingredient needed to make my topical cream and that he could give me the rest of the dry ingredients to mix together with the alcohol to create the cream. I was mortified that the PHARMACIST would suggest for me to create my own topical cream. Isn't that dangerous and illegal??? I picked up my 2 other filled prescriptions and then requested for the topical cream script to be transferred to a different CVS Pharmacy in Malden so I did not have to formulate my own medication... The next morning I took my medication and later discovered that they had given me the WRONG prescription!! I had fainted from the medication they gave me! My name was on the label of the bottle but the medication inside was not mine. I called my doctor immediately and she was distraught over what happened. She then called the pharmacy personally and was unable to speak with the Pharmacy's manager. I then went in to the pharmacy the next day to speak with a manager and was also unable to! The clerk at the Pharmacy register was apologetic but seriously??? A pharmacist could not walk over to apologize to me after you nearly killed me??!! They refused to acknowledge their wrongdoing and lack of professionalism. I would never typically post a review like this but I believe I have a civil obligation to report this to the Health Department and to inform the public before the carelessness of their pharmacists kill someone! Do yourself a favor and chose a different CVS! read more

Horrible service!!!!! I changed to that pharmacy a month ago because it is close to my job.... biggest mistake ever. Not only are the employees rude, but they have never gotten my prescription right. I have been there 4 times in a month and all 4 times I received a text stating my meds are ready but when I show up in person it's not ready or can't be found. Today was the last draw!!! After calling this morning and being told both my prescriptions would be ready by 10am (I showed up at 4pm after work) I show up and only one is ready. Then they procede to tell me they'll fill it but it'll take 15-20 mins ( which I couldn't wait due to a transportation issue). I leave because I honestly couldn't wait more then 5 mins. As soon as I get on the highway, which is right off the plaza, I get the famous text stating my meds are ready. I call to verify and the employee gives me an attitude. Stating that I should have stayed. No you should have gotten my prescription right in the first place. I will be removing my account and telling everyone I know how bad CVS and their customer is. If you desire some lateral movement and agility training, you have found your store. There are so many displays in the front of the store that it is almost impossible to navigate through the maze. Happy holidays! The back of the store was neat and organized. The front half was in disarray. There was an older associate walking around texting while ignoring customers. What a surprise 10 days after I reviewed this store as I walk into the store, there is no paper in the CVS Extra Care coupon machine, I ask the manager if there is another machine somewhere in the store, he tells me to get in line and the cashier can print out the coupons for me, then walks away to exit the store. Since I decided not to wait for the ONE cashier to ring up the SIX people in line, I go look for the items I needed and came in for. Of course, they don't have it in stock. I don't know why I even bothered coming in here looking for travel size Q tips, and Huggies baby wipes if the last 4 times I came looking for them they didn't have them. I then decide to look for somebody working on the floor (anybody but the cashier) and of course, there is nobody around. It's 9:15PM, they must be playing hide and go seek with their customers. This happens every night I come in here, NOBODY on the floor to help customers. Oh, and just in case you think I'm lying about the CVS Extra Care coupon machine I attached a picture... I have been going to this pharmacy for years ever since I was a kid. I always felt like I received great customer service from them. There was always an amazing pharmacist who would always go out of her way. I forget her name but she was an African American woman who was there for years. She is no longer there and the staff the last couple of years has gone so downhill it's horrible. They are always rude and short with you very unprofessional. There was a problem with my medication and I had to call the doctor the next day to fix it. I asked if I could have one pill until the next day. The tech said that shouldn't be a problem and went back to ask the pharmacist who very loudly so everyone could hear her said that's a brand name I'm not giving her one of those. I believe the pharmacists name was Paige.Very very unprofessional. Called the next day with a question about insurance. They were very short to rush me off the phone and couldn't be bothered to help me. I just switched myself wife and 3 kids over to Rite Aid that's 5 accounts you guys lost of years of loyalty only going to this pharmacy because of such poor customer service! read more

I placed an order today to try and get some products curbside because usually the one cashier they have working at the Northgate shopping center in Revere is brutal. I ordered it and 10 minutes later it was cancelled and the best part it there is a hold on my money because they didn't have the product in stock. I think it would be a good idea to CHECK for the product before you charge someone's card. So know I have to wait until Friday to get what I need when I get paid because CVS holds my money because they didn't have the product they are advertising. My mother was gravely ill last year...it was very difficult, and when she came home from hospital, and she had a dozen scripts I was overwhelmed. CVS Northgate Revere made everything bearable and easy, script refills were automatic, thankfully, or she would have run out of pills quite a few times! This CVS really needs self-check out because the staff at the register have no idea how customer service works. Here's my story: I go in, grabbed some snacks as II would do every day on my way to work and waited in line. There's one other guy in front of me. People started queuing up behind me because the guy in front had a shopping cart full of stuff so it's taking some time. That's fine, I'm 2nd in line. A 2nd employee came around and opened up a 2nd register. Fair enough, the line was getting crowded, everyone else behind me went to stand in line for the 2nd register. Not a problem. When the guy with the cart finally finishes checking out all his goods, I went to pay for my stuff and the 1st register guy says the line starts back at where everyone was standing for the 2nd lady. I told him I was actually waiting in line before everyone else moved over to the 2nd line. He then said nope, go wait back in line. I said the 2nd lady wasn't even there when I waited in line. He ignores me and calls in the next person in the 2nd line. I wasn't even yelling or causing a ruckus, I was merely pointing out that I was waiting in line before everyone else and I'm asking them why they can't ring up my stuff that i can easily pay for in less than a minute. Nope, they want me to go back and wait another 10-15 minutes. I called bullshit, dropped off everything off on the counter and walked out. There were some customers in line who agreed that I should've been rung up. I don't know what the employee's deal is, I wasn't even causing a problem and he clearly saw me waiting in line before everyone else. I think he was just bored with his life and wanted to make a power play on some customers. I used to go here every day because I live in the condos nearby but now I'll just settle for rite-aid in Boston since they offer a membership award of 20% off every goods in their store. read more
