Honestly, CVS' pharmacy is not the place to go when you need actual assistance. They open at 9:00 AM, but if you show up at 8:55 AM, they'll remind you they're closed--which is fair, I suppose. But even if you arrive right at 9:00 AM, they'll look at you, ignore you, and won't acknowledge you until 9:04 AM. When I asked for help with finding a medication, they told me to ask a CVS staff member outside the pharmacy, which felt dismissive. On another occasion, I went in for a COVID test, and they said, "It's $70, and you need an appointment--just buy the at-home test instead." Frankly, I don't think it's their place to push me toward another option. Lazy. In contrast, HEB's pharmacy may be smaller and have longer lines, but their customer service is outstanding. They're attentive and genuinely helpful, which makes all the difference. read more

I've had to deal with several CVS pharmacies since my family members use them for their prescriptions. My experience with this particular location has always been pleasant. Whew just fire the whole pharmacy team at this point. My experience was HORRIBLE they are slow, rude, and not helpful at all. It took them 15 mins to hand me a covid test out the window, stating that I didn't upload my insurance when I clearly did. Just moved here from California and CVS is just the natural place for us to go to. First they didn't use my insurance for the pills..had to call. Then went to pick up and found no one in the store (should of been first sign) and a open siringe in a White plastic holder with medicine out in the open on the pharmacy counter. After tell the Asian lady what my name was she said it's not ready yet, 10more.minutes ....(I called 4hours prior and she said 10min) After looking at her for a minute I said "do you want this back" I grabbed the container with the siringe and gave it to her. Then my husband said "we don't want kids to grab this" African american lady in the back said "o ya sorry" and came to grab it. The messed up on my husband's pills not charged insurance...over $1000 ...you would think to maybe check? But today I went in for Sudafed..saw the cage was half down and asked the Asian lady if they were closed and said very blah "ya"....okay is Sudafed back there or up front. This is the worst cvs pharmacy I've ever been to. We moved to this side of town in March, both my son and I have had prescriptions filled here and I promise, right hand to god, I have had a problem filling every single one. I just had surgery, physically drove my pain medication up there, and handed it to someone with over an hour before they closed, and they told me it wouldn't be filled until the following day. It is 3:00 pm the following day and the pharmacist told my husband that it hasn't been looked at because they need to call and verify the medication with the hospital? BUT, he's going to lunch so he will look into it afterwards. My (very young) son needed an emergency medication because we are trying to avoid him going under for an endoscopy. I received a message it's being ordered on Monday, just to show up on Friday and they said "well it was just ordered Thursday so it's going to take a few days." The problem they said, was they had the medication in the pharmacy, but they don't typically give out their last doses like that so they needed to order it. And then they had the medication for 3 days before we finally called to figure out what was going on and they said "oh, your insurance doesn't cover it." When I say it's one problem after another, especially no communication from them, it's absolutely ridiculous. CVS needs to step in and actually restructure this entire store inside out. read more

The drive thru line is always long and slow!!! If someone is doing a Covid test have them park on the side so everyone else can go about their day. It just doesn't make sense for their drive thru to be THIS slow! I'm seriously considering switching to a different one even if it's a bit further of a drive. read more

I've had to switch locations because the pharmacist here is completely unprofessional. I had an issue with one of my medications, so I called. The pharmacist asked me why I was asking about my medication, which I explained. I understand sometimes management needs to hear every side of the story but she immediately started gaslighting me and stated I had no reason to give her the whole story...which she asked for. Every time I go to this CVS hey don't have what I need. What happened today just proved never to go there again I stopped by to purchase some bio oil. They had the 2 oz listed for $30. I been buying it for a few years and I told the manager they had the pricing right. He begin to state his credentials talking about he worked for Walmart for 23 years and Walmart do things different and he knows he had the right price. I said sir but Walmart has the 6.7 ounce the big one for $27 no way your 2 ounce should be more and listed for $30. Now I know pricing can be different at times. Maybe a few dollars but this was crazy. He didn't even bother to check. As I stared at the bottle in disbelief, he stood over me like I wanted to steal that little bottle. Man please. I just bought a 4.2 ounce bottle from HEB up the street for $13. Again I'll never step in this place again. They never have what I need and their pricing is way off. You can drive a short distance in any direction vs coming to this CVS. Whom ever is in charge have no clue what the market is for pricing. Smh. This is a true story and happens on 12/17@11:15 am. In such a beautiful neighborhood; the pharmacy at this CVS is really deplorable. The actual store is GREAT; clean and the staff is usually helpful and efficient. I can't say the same about the Pharmacy department. I literally drive further away from my house for better service. The first time I used this CVS was January of 2016 and the pharmacy department always changes their staff but have yet to achieve professionalism. Whatever the reason is for their mediocre service; they REALLY need to work on it! Hire more staff for that department, if you must. read more

It's a shame this CVS has terrible customer service, since it's the one closest to me. Yesterday, I went in for the vaccine. And I spoke to a rude African- America lady in the pharmacy department. I told her I was a "walk-in, looking to receive my COVID vaccine", she told me to wait in line, which I did. I waited in line for 32 MINUTES. In these 32 minutes, I watched this lady rudely and unapologetically attend various customers and I prayed she wasn't the one giving the vaccines. (There was this one customer that was overcharged, and seemed to be stressed about her bank balance and upcoming bills. The CVS employee I mentioned, kept REPEATING that the money was going to be returned in 3 -5 days, and never once did she apologize to the customer or try to defuse the situation by calling a manager. The CVS employee then walked away from the stressed customer, and continued to ignore her. It wasn't until another much younger employee apologized and called a manager over. ) ANYWAYS... When it was finally my turn in line, the lady told me she was booked up today for vaccines and told me to schedule one online instead. THIS WAS SUPER FRUSTRATING for so many reason. read more

This store is in my community. If it's not for it convenient, I would NEVER EVER walk into this location. It is nothing but HORRIBLE service, disrespectful/untrained employees, wrongly pricing products (and always blamed on the computer and/or the system) and many more. Of course, I'm not a one time customer thing and come up with this list. I had gave this store/location so many chances, but still not ones I have seen any improvement. I live across The street and this is the second time I come to this pharmacy and the shift manager which is African-American is really rude not only does she treat the customers bad but she also treats the employees bad and I think it is very unprofessional I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt and go the second time she did not speak to me and proceeded with telling me I have to pay on the second cashier with someone else. This pharmacy is convenient for me and I go there often. The pharmacy service is usually pretty good, although at times they can be slower than they should be. The photo lab is very spotty and I've never had a completely successful visit there. Other than that, the shopping experience is standard CVS stuff, no more, no less. read more

I go here for photo processing but they always have something wrong with their machines. I end up driving over to Walgreens to get my pictures in one hour sharp. I like that the CVS is close but that's it. The employees aren't that helpful either. If it's one hour photo service you are looking for then keep driving to Walgreens or buy the chemicals and do it yourself. You would probably do a better job anyways. read more

Time after that me this Pharmacy has failed my service. Each time I've given them the benefit of the doubt in hopes that just maybe they've been overwhelmed. But no.... they are just dry and rude. They never have my meds on time. Today was the last straw. I dropped my meds off at 1:20, & the young lady said it would be ready at 7pm. I said that was a bit late and she then says they'll be ready at 6. Here I am with kid in toe at 6:21 and my prescription is not ready. She then instructs me to loop back around the drive through so that the other two cars behind me can get their pickup. Are you freaking kidding me!?!?! I'm so over this location. Someone at CVS better address the issues with this pharmacy. The carelessness of the staff is putting patients health at risk. I normally do not put comments on Yelp but there needs to be a public notice regarding this location. 3 times I have had issues with the pharmacy and I'm tired of it! 1) they tried to give me ear drops in place of my eye drops. Thank goodness I was telling the tech about my serious eye infection because she realized the medicine was for the ear & not the eye and switched it at the last minute. 2) they gave me a narcotic in place of an antibiotic. The only reason I discovered the error (besides the odd side effects) was I was running low on pills. I went back to the pharmacy to get the rest of my prescription when the pharmacist realized I had the wrong pills in the bottle. No real apology. 3) This time I received a call saying they called my doctor to get a different med bases on my instructions due to insurance denial. What medication? What instructions? Nobody called me and I had no idea what medication they are referring to. The note on my record stated a Tech called me. Nobody called me. Besides that, this message is coming 6 days after my doctors appointment! The customer service at this location is horrible. I finally discovered my doctor had sent in a script for an inhaler. Hmm...breathing seems to be an important function so why wait 6 days to notify me you received a script you can't fill? Thankfully I had a sample to use until my follow up appointment. I wish I could turn this location into a state agency. I shared my concerns with my neighbors and they have had similar issues. Do not leave the pharmacy until you verify the meds you receive are correct. You are putting your health and life at risk using this location. read more

This is one of the worst CVS pharmacies I have been to. The staff is consistently rude and unhelpful. I had to fill a prescription that I needed ASAP because I was sick and the pharmacist told me that it would take 4 hours, when there was nobody in the waiting area. I told her I had to wait for it and her response was that I might be waiting for a while. If your going to work in the customer service industry learn how to treat the customer!!!! read more
