I won't belabor this review with all of the ins-and-outs of the experience but suffice it to say that I will not be using this pharmacy ever again due to the way a man behind the counter jumped in to talk down to me. I would have provided 1 star (vs 2) if it hadn't been for the look of compassion on a few other staff members' faces when I noted that I had not done anything that warranted him speaking to me that way. They are even able to put your medications in blister packs that have the dates, times of dosage and description of included medication. No longer do I have to wonder if I have taken my medications, if I am double taking my medications or if I have missed multiple days of my medications. I noticed that they also handle medication compounding if you need your or your furry friends medications specially made. Their physical location has a compression clinic, a vaccine clinic, and a fair selection of over the counter medications, supplements and health supplies as well as mobility aids (wheelchairs, rollators and more). I did not see one stuffed animal or bag of chips. It was truly refreshing to be in a pharmacy that seems to be in the business of health, wellness and community care.

(During intake, the person doing vitals asked what the problem was and stated antibiotics weren't prescribed unless symptoms were significantly worse and for longer. Should have walked out then.) Did you know the rate for meningitis goes up if you let strep linger for longer? You're not going to lose your license for prescribing antibiotics to a patient who has the history and all the valid reasons why. Go to your doctor. *18 hour update: Symptoms worsened overnight. Awaiting the dr now and got this email from CVS: "Causes and treatments Sinusitis usually resolves on its own within 7 to 10 days. Most cases of sinusitis are caused by viruses and cannot be treated with antibiotics. Antibiotics are only used to treat bacterial infections. Antibiotics awareness You may have used antibiotics to treat sinus issues in the past. But they can't help with viral infections. And since overuse of antibiotics can the cause drugs to be less useful over time, providers only prescribe them when necessary. You can find out more about antibiotic resistance at CDC.gov" Be your own advocate. And don't expect new medical professionals to deviate from policy when everyone alive understands that at time there's a difference in policy and reality and you can still respect both.

First, a positive note, which earns them an extra star: we came in just before a storm/possible hurricane watch which loomed in the forecast. Upon entry, the store had set up tables filled with emergency supplies; flashlights, batteries, water, rain gear, etc. Good thinkin' Lincoln! While other stores had their customers running amok, this one planned ahead! Secondly, the negative note: the cashier who checked us out was rude and impatient. While my sis and I were gathering our coupons, and emptying our basket, she didn't greet us but said curtly: "you can only use one CVS card". Well! Good afternoon noon to you too!! We said we knew that and she continued to be robotic and basically snatched our items from our hands. Astounded, we muttered how rude she was being which made her ever more disdainful and abrupt. Uh-uh, I was about to make a scene and go off like Bon Qui Qui, Sa-curity!!! However, my self-control kicked in... we paid and ended this distasteful exchange and wished her a better day!! The receipt said the woman's name was Rachel. No matter how bad a day you're having, try to be as pleasant as you can to your customers.
