I like any CVS that has self checkout, and this is one of the stores that have it. Reason being, I like to make sure all my savings are on my card and make sure they are being applied, because CVS is not a cheap store. I bought some Raw Sugar bar soap and was disappointed that is had no scent to it. I figured the scent would maybe reveal once it's gathered, but it still had no smell, so those bar soaps on the shelf are old. I won't buy another, unless I can smell it through the box. read more

I will not forgive them for canceling my 4:30 appointment at 4:08; literally as I was on my way to the CVS. I live in Ontario and this was the only CVS offering TB test appointments. I need it for my school. When I got there at 4:15 (since I don't text and drive) I was absolutely devastated. They obviously wanted to leave early. I just had a wonderful experience at my local CVS pharmacy. The pharmacists were quick, efficient, and picking up my subscription was a breeze. Kudos to the 2 male pharmacists, one of them by the name of Phat, who took care of each person in line as well and myself. Hadeel was sweet and knowledgeable too, she administered my vaccine. I had asked about getting a last minute flu shot and they were able to squeeze me in during the same visit. I was in and out in about 20 minutes. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and the reviews in the past don't describe my experience at all. I've been coming to this CVS for years too living locally and never had an issue. The cashier's here have always been helpful and had a good attitude. Please don't let past reviews deter you away from this CVS based on staff who may not even be here anymore. The staff members are great. I look forward to returning and picking up all future prescriptions here, plus doing my routine shopping. read more

I told the pharmacist that I was dealing with both a bacterial and viral infection and was feeling very ill, yet he still insisted that I come inside the pharmacy rather than offering a safer alternative (such as waiting at curbside pickup). That put me, other customers, and staff at unnecessary risk. This is the worst pharmacy I've ever been to! got there five minutes before lunch break. They were already on lunch break, had to wait over half an hour. when I finally got my medication. The pharmacist asked me how was the service and I had made a complaint about it. one of the other tech or pharmacist in the back started chiming in and being extremely rude and yelling. So I started yelling back! Their employees need to learn how to keep their opinions to themselves! Because the funny thing about that whole situation, was that I was there for anxiety medication! Today, I experienced the worst customer service in all of my 58 years. This occurred at my local CVS on Alessandro in Riverside while using the drive-thru pharmacy. The young lady helping me proceeded to judge, mock, minimize and stare me down. It was so awkward! Even when I advised her that this was the worst customer service experience I had ever received, she said nothing and continued to stare me down as I drove away. But they said I have to wait till the pharmacist comes back from lunch to release it. They said it doesn't matter what it is if it's a new prescription that's the way they do it! Very frustrating, I would have appreciated being told this before I drove all the way down here. If my insurance didn't make me go here, I would not. Came here to get a COVID Test. Made an appointment 2 weeks in advance. They open at 8:50am. If you're getting an Antigen make sure you go to the outside testing booth (see picture). If you're getting a PCR you must go inside. My appointment was at 9:50am but got here early and the nurse was nice enough to take me after her first patient. Park in the designated area and she will call you to come inside to do your own nasal swab test. Results are emailed within an hour. read more

There were two lines, one for covid tests and one for prescriptions. I got in the correct line for my covid test, when I pulled up the pharmacist was waving at me to go away. She then got on the intercom to tell me to loop back around because she was going to help the person behind me get their prescription. I guess the lines don't matter. I came her to get a chickenpox vaccine on Thursday due to being in nursing school and not having any immunity. The next day my arm was beginning to swell and itch I assumed it was just a response to getting the vaccine but Saturday morning my arm was so swollen and hard I could barely move it I immediately went to the emergency room where the doctor told me I had cellulitis. I returned and was told by one of the pharmacists that things like this sometime occur. I was pressed for time and wish that I wouldn't have went to a pharmacy for a vaccine over my primary. Although they were pleasant on my first visit. I felt the pharmacist I spoke to when I returned was slightly dismissive and just said to contact them if I don't see any changes within 72hrs of starting the antibiotics and wasn't very apologetic in my opinion read more

I have received all my vaccinations and Covid-19 boosters here every year for three years now. It is so EASY to schedule an appointment online, or walk in as my husband prefers to do. CVS Pharmacy (NOT the Minute Clinic) administers all three of my annual Covd-19, 65+Flu and Pneumococcal vaccinations at no charge with my Medicare card and my medical insurance card. Yep; NO CO-PAY ever. Tonight I saw QUINN in the pharmacy; she checked me in, had me wait no more than 3-4 minutes then took me back and very gently administered all three of my vaccs, with a smile on her face, a warm and friendly yet still professional attitude which I so appreciated. QUINN also printed out a coupon for $5.00 dollars off a $20.00 dollar purchase which we used on Airborne and CVS brand Benadryl which works exactly as well but is cheaper. I am going to ask for QUINN for next year's vaccs because she was REALLY GREAT! Someone should make that sweet and patient woman Employee of the Month! read more

The doctor send my son's prescription the pharmacy they send me a message that medication will be available till two days later. I called the pharmacy a couple of days later and they told me it won't be available till further out to pick up somewhere else so I did! Next month rolls around I ordered again it's not in stock and I asked to speak to the manager because I wanted to make sure it would be available if not so I could switch pharmacies and this man with an attitude told me I already told you go else where we not gonna have it till later. Let me start by saying that the people at this CVS are perfectly lovely and although there is sometimes a longer than acceptable wait, the staff in the store is great. My complaint is with CVS corporate. They got ahold of my cell phone number and had taken to constantly calling me with annoying robocalls to refill prescriptions with no refills, specifically because they were one time only prescriptions. Sometimes they call me before I wake up, on weekends, at night, sometimes several times a day. I finally wrote them and told them to stop, and they did for a few weeks, only to start right back up again. Why would a company want to pester somebody until they just never want anything to do with them again? I am done with CVS. They are run by incompetent morons who have no idea what they are doing. I had an 11:30 am appointment to get a couple of injections and checked in at 11:28. There were no scheduled appointments before or after me waiting. I waited 40 minutes to receive my shots. There was no reason for the service to be this slow, and it usually isn't but it was so bad today that I had to get on here to express my dissatisfaction. If I could I wouldn't even give this pharmacy 1 Star I have been using the CVS pharmacy for about 3 years and for the past 6 months the pharmacy is a joke they are so disorganized rude and have no customer service skills whatsoever. I waited in line for 9 minuets before they even knowledge that I was standing there and let me point out that I was the only there at the time. They seen me but not a single word from them. Then a car pulls up and they help them before helping me and still no "we'll be right with you " or anything. Then once I got to the counter and got my medication one the medications was under a different insurance that we don't even have or never have had before. So make sure you check that it's your name on the medication and also check to make sure that its your insurance as well. I had an allergy issue so I came here to purchase some benadryl antihistamine. I bought the 200 pack just to keep in the medicine cabinet. After taking a pill, I looked at the bottle and realized the expiration date is AUGUST 2016. Which means I have 2 months to use up 200 tablets before they go bad. Wish I could give zero stars. Customer service at this pharmacy is almost always unfriendly at best. Now because of Covid 19, they have plastic draped in front of the counter that you have to physically move to be able to talk to the tech. The card reader is sitting on a makeshift table in a way that you can't put your card in it unless you pick the whole thing up. In a time when we need to be limiting the things we all are touching, these idiots have made it necessary to touch more than we ever have had to. Time to finally search for a new pharmacy. Your COVID testing process is a joke. I had an appointment but sat in my car in line for more than 40 minutes before I got to the window. Then, the lab showed up and emptied the test deposit box - that took several minutes - then I had to wait for someone to come out and repack the box with ice, which took several minutes more! That whole process could have been much better coordinated. Finally, originally I was told my test results would be available in 2 to 4 days... but here I am on day 7 without results.
