This location was able to make/ mix the medication last minute and get it to us over the weekend. They close early on Saturdays and I got there at 1:58 when 2pm is their closing time! I parked in one of their "carry out" spots and called the number to see if they would bring it out which they did. It was convenient to not have to leave my car with a newborn! They took my card information over the phone and explained that, because compound medications are mixed/ created within the pharmacy and aren't commercially available, insurance doesn't cover any of the cost. While it was incredibly expensive, it was necessary for my son so I had no other choice. Some pharmacies have cards they can scan to offer discounted rates for uninsured customers. Unfortunately they didn't have this so the medication was $95, but I doubt the location sets the cost of medications. Since I didn't enter, I don't know what the inside is like, but they did have quite a few customers in and out while I was waiting so it must be a good location!

Instead of issuing these receipts, please just put the information on an 8-1/2" x 11" piece of paper, or provide it separately from the thermal one. Because of this downfall, I'm considering transferring my prescriptions to another pharmacy just to be able to get non-thermal receipts. Stone Oak Pharmacy--please consider changing how you print receipts, because I like your pharmacy, the receipts are just not beneficial to anyone who has to report medical expenses on tax returns.

No offense to Walmart but if I'm going to spend $20+ on a t-shirt, I'll go to Marshall's and get one there. We found some cute snack trays/organizers on clearance for $6. Where I live, you can fit 3 of my Supercenters inside this store. There's a 200k sq ft store in Sierra Vista Arizona that might rival it, but this one feels like you're navigating a theme park with as much walking as you do from end to end. The makeup selection is impressive, spanning two aisles. Sporting goods should take notes because the sections are smaller in comparison, and the department doesn't appear fully stocked. I will note the store itself overall is on process because every department is very well stocked. Not a lot of options for underwear or compression socks. I checked sporting goods and pharmacy and came up short. The produce section is huge with plenty of space to navigate without bumping into people. My home store should take notes on this because no one where I live has special awareness, and no one likes feeling like a sardine. The staff are also very nice, though I only interacted with one group of people due to my social anxiety. My only complaint is that upon walking into the store on the grocery side, the place smells like farts. I don't know why because I was already past the first few registers and into cosmetics, but there you go. The store smells weird. Lots to choose from, especially with kitchen appliances. Nice opportunity for exercise if you simply want to walk. And thank god for kombucha being in stock. This is the first reliable source I've found since leaving Phoenix this past weekend.

I've been coming to this location for several years and lately, for the past couple of months or…read moreso, I have been noticing that the lights on the exterior of the building have been out. Not broken but turned off. This includes their main store logo sign and their dot matrix sign board. This location doesn't close until midnight and yet lights go out upwards of an hour ahead of time. I asked the cashier or night why that was so. I was told that their lights and air-conditioning are controlled remotely from corporate and they have no control over it. I find this to be hogwash. I believe that they are just not wanting to have customers coming in too close to closing. This needs to stop.

After said meal, I walked the length of the shopping center to see what other stores there were. I was originally planning on stopping by nearby Walmart, but lo and behold, there happened to be an H-E-B here! It was pretty spacious, at least compared to the one at Lincoln Heights, and I figured I could save myself the trouble of navigating to the Walmart if I could find some floss here. There is a pharmacy on the far left side of the store, and even at the front, they provide various services, including vehicle registration?! Kind of cool a grocery store like H-E-B could do this. Anyways, digressing aside, it seemed this store had a bit of everything, like it could be your one-stop shop for everything. It saved me a trip to Walmart, even if it was just for one item lol, and it could very well save you a trip there too! After all, H-E-B does claim they have the lowest prices in all of Texas. Look out Walmart! You've got competition! lol The self-checkout stands come in really handy, especially for a store of this size. If not for the self-checkout stands, the regular checkout lanes could be pretty long. As at any H-E-B, watch for paper coupons on the shelves! Unfortunately, there was no paper coupon for the floss that I purchased, but considering it was only a dollar, I doubt there'd be one haha. Shelves looked well-stocked and organized. There isn't really anything extraordinary about this store that stands out above the rest, but if I lived in the area, I'd probably make this my usual store. Hopefully, readers living close by will make it a point to stop by here for their grocery needs!
