This pharmacy SUCKS. They put you on hold for at least 30 minutes every time just to speak to someone. When someone finally gets on the phone they put you on hold for another 30 minutes just to get you to an actual pharmacist. USELESS. read more

I'm givin this 3 stars because of its cleanliness n coveinance. Their customer service needs much improvement, especially the pharmacy. If I wasnt tryin to sustain this polite ladylikeness thing I've got going on... I would really get ghetto up in there n on someone cause the pharmacist n the p-techs are extremely rude. The stock is maintained well I suppose, even with sale items. I rarely see it fall short on the items I buy at least. If they had a self service check-out n I didn't have to deal with their unfriendly attitude, I would have given it a 5. Maybe its also just me given my previous expeirence as a retail manager. Worst pharmacy ever!! They missed a drug from prescription. I found it and called my doctor to check if doctor's prescription had it. Doctor said I should got it, and it's on prescription. So I had to drive back (with my pain) They never said "sorry". They sought something to blame (to say it's not their fault) in vain. They even called doctor and asked why I need that drug. (They seem to think they should judge and supervise doctor's prescription) In addition, they charged me copay again. (My insurance charges copay/prescription) I asked why they charge me with their mistake, and they insulted me saying why you want it for free. I just gave them $10 since I didn't want to argue anymore. Worst place ever. Never go there. read more

Chose this CVS because it's literally down the street from me and it's so close that it doesn't make any sense to go anywhere else. I've never had an issue with the staff. I typically get greeted as I walk in to the store. Honestly, I don't care if the staff smiles at me nor do I really pay attention. It's CVS not some high end retail store. The pharmacy is fine too, I'm usually in and out and when it's slow, it's because of the people ahead of me -- can't get card to work, forget pin, can't decide on a band-aid brand they want, etc. Only thing is I wished they call as soon as the medicine is ready for pick up. I mean, it's an automated call so it should be an easy thing to do. Not a super huge deal because I can just call to check. read more

You ever walk by an alley and it smells like urine? This place was so gross I didn't even use the restroom, the manager had to be called to let me in like they were preserving it's prestigious condition (he also asked me if I was a customer before opening). The negative reviews on here are nuts. The staff here was great. I was visiting from out of town and forgot something and the pharmacy staff were extremely polite and helpful. I did notice the lady in front of me complaining about an offer she hadn't read correctly getting annoyed at the clerk trying to explain to her what it said. She got really annoyed with him, but in reality she hadn't read offer correctly. Maybe some issues are similar. They were great to me read more

I accidentally sent my daughter's prescription here. I was trying to get one to close to my ex husband and OMG am I sorry I chose this one because I had to go pick up the rx after he failed to do so. It's like the one lone open store in a desolate strip mall. There are no driveways to turn in from Almaden Expwy, it's off a side street. Then you go in and it's dark, empty and the pharmacy techs would do better as retail cashiers. The windows are frosted so it's a little dark. At least there's plenty of parking... read more

Weird store. I only buy whats on sale...otherwise things are way over priced. Using cvs card helps to get extra bucks...

The pharmacy staff is excellent. The Pharmacists have been there a long time as well as most of the staff. I'm confused by the comment regarding new staff and the rude description of one of the staff members. He has a name and couldn't be more professional or friendly. They do an excellent job. If you go to pick up prescriptions at 5:30 it's very possible that you will wait in a line. Everyone is stopping on their way home from work. If you go mid day you rarely wait at all. That isn't any different at Safeway or Target. It's just like traffic, timing is everything. This is a small, local CVS. It is about a third of the size of most of their stores. CVS ads read not all items available in all stores. I know if I want sprite zero and it is at a really low price I am going to need to go to one of the larger stores. The entire store staff including the young cashiers are terrific and friendly. You are greeted as you walk in and they check that you found everything you need. I have had friends who don't live in this area comment on how nice everyone is at that store. read more

This is not a review of the pharmacy more of the store and especially the store manager. This morning I came in right when it opened. I grab the few items I wanted and went and stood in line. There was no one at the check stand but the manager ( didn't know it was her at the time) was right there with the frito guy. She was busy talking it up with him to notice me. After a few minutes the frito guy pointed out I was there and she called out for someone to help me. Karen came and proceeded to check my items out. One item came up as not being able to sell. It was a 12 oz cannof redbull that I took out from the cooler. Karen ( who was the checker) said something to the manager who said " oh well it can't be sold" while she continued to talk with the frito guy, NEVER looking in my direction. Karen was apologetic as I and another customer where in shock with her rudeness. I then found out she was the manager. Well CVS this manager of yours cared more about tucking it up with the frito guy then a loyal customer. Last straw will be going to Rite Aid from now on. read more

This is not a review of the pharmacy but the store's customer service. The only "open" register was very very slow. Their management also needs training in customer service. They have very little empathy for customers standing in line. The only reason we go to this store and pay a little extra is for service. It is completely lacking in customer service. Absolute the worst pharmacy ever. I don't even know where to start. The pharmacists all look like that's the last place they want to be. The pharmacy staff are all rude (Except for one guy with a long hair pony, he is nice), pharmacists made mistakes. When they said they would call the doctors, they never did. And they always claim they never receive any fax, when indeed I know my doctor did fax. I put up with it for a couple of years because it's convenient from my house. I finally got so fed up with this pharmacy that I switched, even it means a longer drive to somewhere else. read more

I bought a scar healing product for my kid, but turned out I didn't need it anymroe as my kid's scar got recovered pretty well by itself. So I went to the store to return it. The product is sealed and not openable. When the store manager, Andrew, came over and checked it, he shaked it and felt like empty, and he went ahead and broke the seal, and found it's indeed empty. Now the situation got a little tricky. I don't have the receipt, and Andrew refused to give me credit. I said it's sealed, and it's unopnable, and after several back-and-forth, he started to say he won't give me credit for another product that I also want to return, because of my attitude, and started to serve the next customer. I don't know what else to say to this store manager (Andrew), and I think he set a pretty bad example for the store employee on how to handle the customer. I will call CVS for sure to report this incidence. Overall this cvs store is good, and I use it, like it a lot, for the past 15 years since I moved here. But this store manager, Andrew, really sucks! If you have a choice, go elsewhere, even to a different CVS. This one is way below standard. When this store was Longs it was so good. All the old management, staff, and pharmasists have left. After my experience today I plan to switch all our prescriptions to another pharmacy. I waited in line for my prescriptions for 15 minutes, with only two people ahead of me, because the pharmacy clerk was having a problem computing a customers purchase. Two management personal came to assist. Both ignored the long and growing line. They left the scene as soon as they resolved the immediate problem. The clerk herself was completely inept. Clearly they let the higher paid, better trained staff go. When my turn finally came the clerk said she would "let me pay for my prescriptions, but I needed to go to another register to pay for my non-prescription items". When I objected she agreed to let me pay for everything together, but did so begrudgingly. After I paid I looked for one of the managers to give my comments and say that I would not be returning.
