The CVS app for prescriptions should be reworked or trashed altogether. I have learned that if you speak to a pharmacist or a pharmacist assistant on the phone, there is no record of that conversation. There's only a record if you don't pick up the telephone when they return your call. That is ridiculous. I was promised a prescription last Saturday, even though it was a few days early. When I arrived in fact that was not available, nor was the record of the conversation that I had with what I thought was a pharmacist. The app today told me my prescription could not be filled until the 14th. So I had to go in and I was basically told that I have so many prescriptions that the app isn't reliable in so many words. I can't wait to change my drug plan beginning January one and I will never deal with CVS again. The pharmacist today was very helpful. The above is accurate of my experience until today. I was just there in August 2, 2025 and was in a complete rush and absolutely stressed because I needed passport photos printed ASAP my appointment was in just 15 minutes! Linda came over right away and assisted me from start to finish. She was friendly, helpful, thoughtful, and proactive every step of the way, helping to calm my nerves while making sure everything was done quickly and correctly. Her level of customer service was a solid 10/10. Linda truly went above and beyond. I honestly think she deserves a promotion or a raise! CVS is incredibly lucky to have her. They're super nice and friendly and they did run out of a prescription that has been sold out in most of the Los Angeles area. This place has saved my a______ a few times. THEY ARE OPEN LATE. My daughter had a fever and of course, I thought I had Tylenol on deck, I didn't. I drove to a few different locations and they were all closed ( it wasn't even that late, I used to live I. The valley where stores and burger spots were opened past 10pm). I googled this location and they were opened. I thought it was an error, IT WAS NOT an error. Came in here today to pick up a few things for Mother's Day along with some photos I ordered. Linda saw me waiting in line holding my baby in one hand and the items I was buying in my other hand, and immediately came over to help me. She did the whole self checkout process for me and made sure I left with everything in a big bag to make it easier to carry my baby and my items to the car. The pharmacy staff is friendly and professional, but closing the pharmacy in the middle of the day for lunch is absurd. I don't like to disagree with my fellow Yelpers but I have had no issue with customer service in this location. No they are not four star in my opinion but definitely not one start either. I recently moved to Valencia from another part of Santa Clarita and this location is right across the street from where I live which makes is super convenient for me to pick up my prescription. The first time I went in the employee recommended that I just get the meds auto refilled and have them send me a text. I did that and didn't have to think about it again, got the text and picked up the next month's refill. Being right across from me it is easy enough for me to just walk over or drive and get a few items. They seem to have decent sales and they have a pretty good selection of items. On 10/23/24 I checked in myself and my son for our 8:30 appointment for our flu shots we were the first appointment of the day. We waited about 10 minutes, and the pharmacist called my son and Deborah- I clarified the names, and he looked confused, and I noticed 2 different vaccines (1 flu and a different vaccine, I could tell since they were different colors) were prepared on the table. He then blamed the woman in the front for checking in the wrong person- my son and I have the same last name, so I am not sure how this was overlooked by the pharmacist. I had the vaccine first and stated several times that we were here for the flu vaccine to ensure the correct vaccine was administered since he had originally prepared 2 different vaccines. It was then my sons turn who is 3 years old. My son sat in my lap, and I held him in like a bear hug. Again, my son is 3, it is expected kids will move so that is why you should hold them down and administer the shot as quick as possible. When the pharmacist was administering his shot, my son moved his arm slightly. The pharmacist was not holding my son's arm with his free hand. The pharmacist took the needle out of his arm- and whispered "oh shit" to himself. He then immediately discarded the needle. Since the pharmacist was not holding my son's arm with me, he moved the arm too much I guess for the pharmacist likening, and the pharmacist decided to take the needle out since he moved his arm slightly. The pharmacist immediacy blamed my son and said that since he was misbehaving, he had to stop the administration. My son then tried to touch his arm where the needle went and the pharmacist said "no no" since there was no band aid on it yet, the pharmacist did not place a band aid over the location of the shot, so I did. My son was not misbehaving, he was calm and sat in the chair waiting for his turn (I hope you have cameras to prove my son was not misbehaving.) My son moved his arm slightly because he was poked by a needle and that is expected from a child. The real issue is the pharmacist who clearly lacks basic training in administering shots, he should have assisted in holding his arm and he should have administered the shot quickly which he failed to do. I asked the pharmacist how much of the shot was administered. His first answer was none. I then continued to press him because I saw some had gone in. He then stated maybe a third and then said maybe a fourth went in. Again, he immediately discarded the needle so there was no way to check to see how much was actually left. I then asked him, so what do I do now. He said I needed to contact my pediatrician. I shared my concerns with him and told him that my son was not misbehaving and that he clearly should not be administering shots to children. I cannot believe the lack of professionalism I experienced but more importantly the danger my son was placed in due to this pharmacist. From preparing the wrong shot, not helping to hold my sons arm down, not administering the shot quickly, not placing a band aid, not knowing how much was administered, and blaming my son for his inability to carry out the duties of his job as a pharmacist. I hope these concerns from my experience are appropriately escalated. read more

I found what I was looking for with her help, and the gentleman at the register, Marcus, was friendly and patient. As for the actual store, I have to be honest and report that it was not well stocked like I had expected. I've been coming here for decades; since it was a Long's Drug Store. The actual pharmacy is super. This is about store policy. Why don't they let you use the restrooms? They actually send you to Starbuck's a few doors down. Every supermarket and drug store in let's you use their restroom, even if it's in the employee lounge area. There are 2 brand new restrooms with code locks on the doors right behind the refrigerated cases on the left side of the store. I guess only the employees use them. And this was going on way before COVID. read more

Cashier at front register ( granary square on McBean Pkwy) on December 19th 2024 between 9-10 pm was extremely rude , arrogant and didn't seem to care at all and wasted my time . I asked that if he can please get store manager and he said he is the store manager. My children and I stopped into this CVS location again love it! From the moment we walked in we were greeted by Andrew the Supervisor he was passing by... super awesome guy! We see friendly happy faced employees around working with other customers. As we approach the counter, Marcus the cashier helped us out and immediately took care of our return. He was very welcoming and that goes a long way towards making customers feel comfortable and valued. On our way into the Beauty Department I ran into Kassandra: CVS' own Beaty Consultant she is phenomenal! Whatever it is that we are looking for she is quick knowledgeable and very efficient! I asked her about the ear piercing station and she immediately informed me all about it! You choose the style of earrings, buy the earrings, service is free and after care package too! We walked a bit through the store and I was pleasantly surprised to see that she takes real pride in what she does going above and beyond & being a face that represents CVS; ya know this sends a positive message out that she cares about the customer base and in return this creates a feeling of trust. This is the kind of service that is needed this is what keeps customers coming back because she knows how to build a trusting connection with the community! I absolutely appreciate her! As we checked out we were helped by Francisco another supervisor; once again very kind, happy face making certain to ask if we found everything we needed! The employees there all helpful honestly I was so impressed by the way they treated me and my children that I know they will get my business from now on and I highly recommend going in and checking the store out for yourself! The most unprofessional pharmacy I have ever come across. They canceled my appointment without informing me. I called about a question for the immunizations I was meant to receive at this pharmacy. They told me they canceled my appointment and were incredibly rude with me. The least they could do is inform me! Instead of even trying to reschedule, they said it's "not their problem" and I should just call around, and that it's my fault for booking my appointment so late. That is not okay! This review would be in the negatives if yelp permitted it. Third bad experience, this time in the pharmacy. I came in with a simple pre-packaged Rx to be filled and told them I'd wait. I waited over an hour and they never called my name. I finally asked and they claimed they had called me (they did not) then they substituted and did not include all items, nor were they courteous enough to inform me that they substituted. (Don't you just LOVE how health care providers take their customers for granted?) When I demanded that they provide what the doctor had ordered, I received EYE ROLLS from the pharmacy clerk EVA and dispute from one of the on-staff pharmacists, so I asked for them to take their product back and return my rx slip so I could go to another pharmacy. They were less than helpful with that and provided me a reave of paperwork: I noticed only after I got out to my car that they had not returned the original Rx slip and I had to go back in to retrieve it. I asked to speak to the store manager so that I could get a phone number for the regional pharmacy manager. (I know they have them,) Instead, the manager (who didn't even bother to come speak to me directly) had a clerk give me a phone number for a third party system. Absolutely ludicrous. If you want to have a professional pharmacist looking over your healthcare and your safety, STAY AWAY FROM CVS. Because trust me - CVS DOES NOT CARE. read more

Pharmacists who work here couldn't give less of a sh** and should be ashamed of themselves. I had been waiting days for a prescription to get approved while barely getting any sleep and with a sick 2yr old. I finally get the call and race over before closing. In line right at 6pm. All of them are there behind the desk still helping others but say they're not going to help me because they close at 6pm. There's no one behind me. I would have taken 2 min. They tell me to leave. As I'm pulling out of the parking lot one of the kids is just sitting in his car on his phone. I shop at the CVS on McBean, and after they remodeled, for awhile, the store was not run very well and it was hard, especially in the cosmetic area, to find any help. I'm glad to report that MAIRA works in the cosmetic department, and she has helped me a few times lately and she is great. Very knowledgeable and helpful. She also directed and took me to find some other isles of things on my list. I really appreciated that. Please commend her for a great job. Trash store trash pharmacy. Would give it a zero if I could. If you're looking for a pharmacy to get your prescriptions please look somewhere else! I've been getting my prescriptions filled here for years and not sure why I haven't switched yet. Not only are the employees either no where to be found or extremely rude but the whole store is one huge inconvenience. They'll text you saying your prescription is ready but it won't be and you'll have to wait around the store for 30+ minutes waiting for it to be filled. They say you can get your prescriptions filled by using the app or online but I swear they just ignore all incoming notifications because it'll never be ready even hours and days afterward which is why I thought calling on the phone would work. I decided to write this review since today I had another terrible experience. I decided to call them before trying to pick up my prescription so I don't have to wait around when it's not ready and I kid you not I've been on hold for 40 minutes. And then they hung up on me!! Waiting around for this CVS like it's a damn DMV. Around the 10 minute mark someone answered and asked me to be "put on hold" and didn't even wait for me to say okay just to hang up on me 30 minutes later! I called back because today I was being stubborn and they finally answered after another 20 minutes. So I'm total I waited an hour to get my prescription filled. Anyone who decides to go here just know it's faster to get there tell them to fill it and wait not worth waiting the phone game. In the past I was picking up my prescription and after it was filled I was informed that I had to wait an hour for the doctor (who was on a lunch break) to explain to me how to take the medication even though I had been on it for three years. It was absolutely ridiculous and when she finally came back she told me to take it like I always have like uhh duh not sure why they had to waste my time. While my issues are with mainly the pharmacy I've had almost as many problems with the CVS itself. Employees for check out are never to be found. People could easily be stealing from the store and no one would even bat an eye. But I ain't telling you to steal that ain't on me if you do get caught. I've gotten photos printed here and there printers suck and they lost my friends disposable camera so beware!! Lastly the place is just gross! Very dirty! No public restrooms. And I've seen multiple cockroaches!! Consider myself officially done with this place. Will not be coming back here or any other CVS. Walgreens will be getting my business from now on. read more
