Went for a passport style photo, the backround in the photo included part of a shelf next to the white backdrop. I told the manager politely that it shouldn't show the shelf in the digital photo. Manager was very unhelpful and didn't help me get the photo corrected. He insisted on being correct. Would not recommend getting your passport style photo here. read more

Unbelievable. I got my prescription and on their very lengthy receipt I saw a 40% off one item. But there are sooooo many restrictions.. no daily, no Covid tests, no alcohol, no sale items.. what's left. Anyway I got some detergent (didn't want to waste the 40% off). Every time I go to this CVS, the over the counter name brand drugs are locked up. All of them! Except the CVS generics. I wanted a simple bottle of excedrin. Every type was under lock and key. Almost every variation of Zyrtec, Claritin, Allegra all locked up. While the generics are not. Of course, I ring the bell for help. No one comes. I ask the pharmacy for help and they make an announcement over the loudspeaker. No one comes. All to force me to buy their product. If this were because people were stealing, they would be locking up ALL brands of allergy pills, no? ALL brands of pain killers. This pharmacy is in one of the safest cities in Southern CA. So probably not a lot of stealing. And the CVS in Burbank isn't locking up name brand drugs. The CVS in Glendale isn't using this practice. The manager at this store is probably trying to fill some company quota. read more

I stopped into the Pharmacy to pick up a prescription! The Pharmacist and whole team are always the greatest...even when they work tirelessly they still go above and beyond to see to it that you're properly counseled well versed when it comes to understanding the importance of the medication and your dosing instructions. This CVS is my go to especially when it comes to getting meds for my family. On my way out I had picked up a few items and was met by an employee I hadn't met before ...Brandon! a newer friendly face to the team! He was taking care of the needs on the floor as it wasn't to busy and as soon as I walked up to the register there he was readying himself to check me out! He wanted to make sure I got everything I needed as we spoke for a minute I got a real great impression from him! Soft spoken and extremely knowledgeable & super helpful! I needed something for my foot as I was in pain; I couldn't find it and I just about gave up ...Brandon explained to me that he knew exactly what I was looking for and immediately showed me where it was! See it's excellent customer service like that which keep's customers like myself coming back again and again! I truly appreciate him going above and beyond! I am happy Brandon is there! I believe he is a perfect addition to the already awesome team! I hope upper management reaches out to him and let him know what an awesome job he is doing! read more

Although they could not process my packages from USPS, the employee who helped me was so nice. Forgot to get her name. She said they had tried scanning a USPS package before and had issues. She took the time to log in on the portable scan device and tried scanning it to see if it would work. All employees helping people check out were very efficient and made what seemed like a long line move very quickly. Appreciate great customer service since it's hard to find nowadays. This CVS is humongous and is very clean, spacious and organized. I thought it was unique how it was carpeted instead of tiled. The makeup section is the largest I've seen. They also sell a lot of alcohol in the left corner. The last two states I lived in were Colorado and New York so I am still not accustomed to seeing alcohol in stores like CVS! It's very convenient. Their photo center was very small and wasn't an entire designated corner like other shops were. It was instead just located in front with the regular cash registered. I ordered 1-hour photos from here through a "1-hour photo" app and was happy with the accurate service. It was $2.99 for a single 5" x 7" photo however. You can take passport photos here too. They randomly have a wide selection of women's sandals, flip-flops and slippers. There is plenty of parking here as well. read more

The manager and employee in the store are very rude. My 20 year old daughter tried to return something with the receipt and was told that due to COVID-19 they are not accepting returns. When I asked if it was posted anywhere since we were not told at the time of purchase I was shown 1 very small sign next to the register that is not open. I was told that the employees are not notifying customers of their no return policy although they are enforcing it. The store is accepting merchandise to stock their store and they are handling merchandise that was touched by others but they refuse to accept returns from customers. I can't believe it has come down to this. I am extremely disappointed with the pharmacy technicians at cvs and the manager Juan. I came to this location on 11/23/21 at about 6:15 pm. The Hindu lady at the front desk says to me "you need to be wearing a mask" or I can't help you. I told her no where does it say that it is mandated. I said it is required but not mandated. I explained to her that I needed my medication ASAP and she proceeds to call the manager (Juan). Juan comes over and I explain to him how the pharmacy tech is refusing to provide me with the medication that I need. He says "why?" Then she comes over and starts getting loud and says "I won't help her until she wears a mask". He then tells me "yeah you need to wear a mask or we will refuse service to you. He claimed that they were a private business and were allowed to refuse service to anyone not wearing a mask. He asked me to leave and go to a different CVS. I was shocked because I've been here many times and have never experienced this type of behavior from staff members. I currently have nasal obstruction and did not want to wear one today because I can't breath. I am also traveling tomorrow and won't be able to get my medication. I'm very disappointed with the pharmacy staff and manager. I am writing this review to hopefully bring attention to the nauseating, stomach-turning stench that has fully consumed this building. I've noticed this for the past 6 months, mentioned it to employees and it gets shrugged off, as if they are used to it. I would like to thank the pharmacy staff for being so quick and helpful with my prescriptions. I would like to keep giving them business, but I can no longer bear the smell as it only seems to be getting worse. read more

Awful pharmacy staff can't seem to understand insurance process and staff does not know how to communicate. They'll just bounce you around to different staff members. Will not recommend this location ever. Other people in line had same issue with poor communication and lack of knowledge from staff. read more

The CVS pharmacy on Bouquet has been wonderful. Unlike the CVS on Soledad Canyon. Bouquet CVS pharmacy answers their phones promptly, but the Soledad Canyon pharmacy has NEVER answered their phone the 3 times I've tried calling on different days. Before I hung up the phone the last time I called, I had been in hold for approximately 35 minutes. No excuse! Thank you to the pharmacists and crew who work at the Bouquet location! read more

Regarding filling my 6# dog's cough medicine here. The pharmacy manager is great, the other pharmacist is my worst nightmare. I dropped off my dog's prescription and asked if everything was in order and could I pick up first thing the next morning because they seemed busy. I was assured that it would be filled before closing that day. The "bad" pharmacist called me a few minutes before closing and just said to call her back. Of course they were closed by then, so I called the next morning. The "good" pharmacist had a vague note from the "bad" one which didn't say why, but not to fill it. They went back and forth on the phone between my vet and CVS, leaving messages on each end, making me wait another full day before getting it filled. My vet recommended next time to find a new pharmacy! I will. read more

My ophthalmologist prescribed Mura 128 eye drops. Bausch and Lomb and ridiculously expensive OTC but hey - we live in a greedy world. Not that it matters to CVS. They can't even be bothered to carry them. They tell me they can order them. Guess what? So can I. That's what OTC stands for. I can guarantee I'll pay a lot less if I order on line. Now a new young person working the front won't provide/sell me medications I've received multiple times from them because the doctor didn't specify description, duration. I'll go to Walgreens now. I left riteaid for cvs now I'll use Walgreens. I'm reviewing this business' pharmacy department since we only pick-up prescriptions here and rarely come here to buy anything else. The few times I've been here, I've only experienced top-notch customer service. The pharm tech Maryam (sp) always welcome everyone with her sweet smile. Usually when people go to a pharmacy, the transactions are always lukewarm or cold, but not here. Everyone is so helpful and is just equipped with that great customer service skills. Someone would always acknowledge your presence, thank you for waiting and inform you that someone will be assisting you shortly. Never had I have a problem or issue with them, if there was 1, I'm sure it got resolved quickly. There was one instance when this sweet pharmacist touched my heart with her kindness and compassion. You can tell that she cares. I love how personalized their service is. It's just amazing. I found myself needing to visit this pharmacy three times this week for prescriptions and I was not feeling my Best. I was and am constantly treated with a great deal of respect, patience and kindness. When a medication was out of stock they found me a pharmacy that had it and they transferred the RX. I love the neighborhood feel to this chain pharmacy and it's nice that they treat me as if I were their only customer!! Finally Some one gets me to give out five stars!! I love this place. If I have a bday emergency and forgot a gift i run in there and within 2 minutes i'm out with a gift card and a card. Or if I want to be a cheap ass or simply find something personal I go in there and i'll find it, grab a bag and i'm out on my way to the bday dinner/party. I order my pictures online and boom they call me to remind me incase i forget which is always the case. medicine? Bam! it's there! and if it isn't they'll figure something out. They actually care, it's not like those other places where you ask excuse me do you have some more of this.? and they say sure let me check they come back within a minute and say no, or they don't even bother and say no. These pharmacist are deidcated to what they do...in other words they do their Job. The only advice is if you get a youngster trying to help you out aka a moran, ask them to ask the old timers or you ask the old timers, hey at least the youngsters there at CVS try, not like other lazy asses. I like this store allot plus it's usually never busy so if your in a hurry to buy a gift or pick up your medication or simply need to grab a thirst quencher, this is the spot for an in and out! read more

This CVS branch makes it difficult for my household to determine to whom the very incomplete message left in my answering machine, is for. For years 95% of the time, the only message we would hear is "to continue, press 1". It is irritating and rude not to get the full message right off the bat. I have already reported this issue to the Pharmacy manager some time ago and yet nothing has been done about it. Makes me wonder if it is the Hispanic nature of my surname that causes them to ignore my diplomatic complaint. read more
