Wanted to get the Covid vaccine update. Very nice young woman made an appointment for me for the next day. Their system sent me a notification for a different time !! When I went in at the appointed time , there was a single pharmacist and a half dozen people waiting ahead of me. The pharmacist explained that CVS allowed up to ten people to make appointments for each time slot !! I gave up on CVS and went to an Albertsons, where I got the vaccine in 10 minutes. I was out of town and need to get my medication so I received a call back on Tuesday. They told me they would have the prescription after 2:00 pm. When I arrived at 3:00 pm, the pharmacy staff told me they marked it down for Wednesday. I was waiting by the pharmacy and the young man told me to go shopping because I was making them nervous. Madeline went by and I asked if she had my prescription and she stated very rudely, I don't know your name. Bottom line, go to another pharmacy whose staff understands customer service. read more

Normally I hate CVS. But I like this location! I could actually find what I was looking for, and the staff was nice and knowledgeable. I got a COVID booster here, and the next day got two prescriptions filled. They were prompt, called when the RX was ready, and efficient when I arrived , no wait. I made an appointment two weeks ago for Covid vaccination and had to fill in my insurance information at that time. I just showed up for my appointment to be told that they do not take my insurance (it is a major national insurance provider) and that I needed to cough up $200. The dopey employee at the pharmacy gave a halfway, half-a$$ed apology, but was not surprised. I guess their employees are used to CVS' incompetence. read more

It's so sad for me to read all these negative reviews, for my experience, for the most part, has been with people sweet, considerate and most definitely professional. I feel so sorry that they may be lumped in with some that may have been otherwise. Imagine working in such a situation. DO NOT GET COVID TESTED HERE. The sign said to wait in the car so we waited for 30 minutes with no one else being helped. There was no line. We went inside to the pharmacy and they said "we have nothing to do with the Covid testing". I called the one 800 number and they said they would transfer me to the pharmacy. We knocked on the door to it looks like it could be the Covid testing room the woman said she was downloading software and had us wait for 20 more minutes. Do not waste your time. read more

Waited two days for the pharmacy to return my call. When I finally spoke to someone, there was a problem with my prescription. The pharmacist told me he would fax the doctor and hung up on me while I was asking a question. No point in calling back since they don't answer the phone. Not only was he was rude, he didn't completely answer my questions leaving me angry and in the dark. I don't care how busy you are, you are only creating more work all around by not giving me answers to all my questions. read more

Pharmacy staff at West Cordova is rude, nasty and arrogant. Long waits while the pharmacist chats with staff and other customers before answering a CVS imposed consultation. Cannot emphasize enough how nasty the staff is to customers who spend their money there keeping them employed. One even told me to "Get out!" Do NOT use this pharmacy. read more

This store at 511 W Cordova Rd was horrible and clerk was nasty. We were visiting Santa Fe and walked a mile to this store to get zinc lozengers as we were getting colds. CVS website said store was open until 10 pm. We arrived at 7:53 and the door was locked. Sign on door said closing at 8 pm. We saw people and an employee in the store but she waved us off. A car pulled up and asked us if store was open we said no but it wasn't even 8 yet. Customers then came out and allowed us to enter the store. Clerk came over and said we couldn't come in because she had Seen me take a photo. I said I only needed one item and it wasn't 8 pm yet. She said no. I said it isn't 8 pm yet. She said it is 2 minutes till 8 but still would not let us get our item. I said I will have to report you and she replied I don't care. I will say the new pharmacist is very nice and he's trying very hard.... but most of the people on his staff are absolutely worthless! Now it could be the systems at CVS in general are bad but I think there must be some human error involved? You constantly get updates saying prescriptions are ready can you go to pick them up and they have no record of them in their system. Even though CVS sent you that notice. So then you show them the notices ... LOL we're not in charge of that. ... we've actually moved all of our drug business to Walgreens because this place is dirty , few clients wear masks & employees don't say " hey masks are required " ....they never seem to have a shelves stocked it's really sort of sad! read more

I made an appt for an updated covid booster. The appt was confirmed. I arrived 10 minutes before the appt. and checked in at the pharmacy. They took my covid card, showed it to the pharmacist & told me to sit down until I was called. After many people were called before me, I investigated. They told me to sit down & wait my turn. I did. After waiting an hour, I inquired again. I was told the system "adjudicated" me. What? And that I never registered correctly. I did the same thing everyone else did. After I showed them text confirmations, they finally took me. My advice-DO NOT get your booster at this location. Very, very unorganized, rude & disjointed. I just left the pharmacy they were 20 people in line with only one person in customer service. The place is kept up like a pigsty. The floors are dirty. Everything is uncapped, and they take no pride at all in that store. I would advise anybody to find another drugstore anywhere possible but there. Terrible experience. I started shopping at this store regularly in 2007 and I now never plan to go back. Today's visited yielded: 1) no carts 2) no hand baskets 3) pharmacy closed today and tomorrow 4) minute clinic permanently closed 5) "cashier" made me check out at the self check-out stand because he was too busy doing some other chore 6) The employees obviously didn't care about any of this I used to love this store and now I despise it. read more

This is the most unfriendly pharmacy ,not just CVS pharmacy, that I have ever been to! The employees are grouchy and not helpful at all. Last time I visited the store the clerk looked like he had wiped his face on his shirt and had a stream of snot coming out of his nose that he didn't even wipe. He was arguing with the customer in front of me.On another visit, I asked to use the restroom and they said they were closed to customers. What's up with this? I mean seriously. Guess this is the place NOT to send photos for printing. First of all, they do not print when you submit from the CVS website - at this store they wait until you come in and ask. Too busy for printing already submitted orders. Then you have to wait around or come back 30 minutes later for your prints. Bigger issue is that the resulting photos were the worse I have ever printed. Their machine is off, everything is blueish and over saturated. All fine, just take note that CVS on Cordova has abdicated the photo printing business to their close by competitors - so proceed accordingly. read more

I don't understand all the low ratings for this store. This is probably the best CVS I've ever shopped at. Being new to Santa Fe, and having shopped at the other CVS on Cerrillos, this is my location of choice, hands down. I realize it's not CVS' fault, but the Cerrillos location seems to be the choice of crack-heads and panhandlers. The Cordova location seemed to be free of that element, at least at the time that I shopped there. Moreover, the service I received in the pharmacy was stellar. They were SLAMMED with phone calls and people waiting for RX's, and even with 5-6 pharmacy staff working their butts off the lines never got any shorter. In spite of this, they were all working at top speed, sometimes handling two or more issues at once (which is simply wrong - no employee should have to do that - are you listening CVS management?). Martin was the best! He spent quite a while getting to the bottom of an aggravating insurance issue for me, calling the insurance company to straighten out a problem with my ID. He was professional and courteous the whole time. The rest of the staffers were hustling, and I admire them all for keeping their cool under tremendous pressure. Great staff. All of the complaints made by other reviewers are really not the fault of the staff . . . just unfortunate instances of life not going according to plan. I don't think there's anything the staff could have done to solve those one-star first-world issues. The staff have earned my loyalty. read more

This store is terrible! On December 31, 2022, I made a purchase of some hair dye at the CVS on Cerrillos. I had coupons for that particular brand which is normally $13.49, which brought the actual price of the dye to $5.66. Today I went in to the CVS on Cordova to exchange the hair dye, For the same brand just a different color. I just wanted to do an even exchange. The woman who did the return, Maria, refused to let me do an exchange therefore I lost all of my coupons that brought the item down to $5.66. This is the second time I have lost coupons on an item through cvs. The first time I used the in store pickup (btw, it took almost 2 hours to do an online order for an instore pickup for 5 items!) and was told that the store that the store on Cordova had my items and when I got there they did not. I lost my coupons then as well. That was about 2 months ago. The employee was rude and very smart alec. I've always been a loyal customer to CVS, preferring them over walgreens. They have not stopped calling me for days, without leaving a message and I can't get a person to answer why (don't want to miss a bill or something). I can only connect to the front store who then snaps at me for calling them and then hangs up on me. Avoid this place unless desperate. read more

We had appointments for flu shots at 5:30. We arrived at 5:15 and was told to wait in the line where the shots were being given. After talking to some folks they had appts at 4:15 and were still waiting. I went back to the check in counter and again was told to wait in the line. Not once did the young woman behind the counter register us or ask our name. In the mean time folks were lining up and were being registered. Finally after waiting 45 minutes I noticed folks that walked in after us were getting called and getting their shots. After once again mentioning this, we were finally registered and said there would be about a 45 minute to an hour wait. We finally notified the young man behind the counter that we had to cancel our appt due to a prior engagement at 7:00pm that evening. Lo and behold, when we got home, we had an email from CVS saying we received our flu vaccine!! I hate to think what will happen when we try to make another appt and are told we already received it! read more

I'm a traveler and this is hands down, one of the best CVS 's I've been to! Easy to transfer prescription here to pick up while visiting Santa Fe. Pharmacist and her team were super helpful and friendly. Also checked out in front, with more personable interaction and a GIFT for coming in. Store is clean and organized with wide aisles, easy to find whatever ur looking for and more. Great job CVS Santa Fe! read more

I have a pretty low bar for this location, but my experience tonight far surpassed previous lackluster experience. The cashier tonight seemed like he was drunk or on some sort of substance. He was friendly enough but kept making really inappropriate jokes and comments to the females in line (and in front of my 4 year old child). Unfortunately the self checkout was broken and the cashier informed the line that the last customer "broke that shit". He made several other comments with profanity, again right in front of my young son and many other customers. When the line became very long, another employee came out from the back to help out - he had greasy brown shoulder length hair - I was relieved and thanked him for opening another line. There was some issue with him opening the register and he quickly became frustrated and told me to go back In the first line (I had already lost my spot after waiting 20 minutes in that line). He shrugged and said "give me a break dude" and started yelling at me as he retreated to the back of the store. I asked him not to call me "dude", to which he responded , "okay dude". I have to say I would choose the first cashier over the second, because at least he was friendly! Either way, if this is the level of customer service, I'll definitely be making the longer trip to Walgreens. It seems like they pulled their employees from the pool of wayward folks wandering outside their front door...couldn't get out of there fast enough! read more

This pharmacy is absolutely terrible for procuring eyedrops. Caution. Each time I speak with them it's a different story. The eyedrops are out of stock. They can no longer get the eyedrop - ever. They want to substitute the eyedrop for a different kind. One they wanted to prescribe was an additional .1% in solution. The excuses have gone on and on for 10 days. Please realize that I've ordered this same eyedrop through this CVS pharmacy four or five previous times without issue. Finally I am transferring to another pharmacy. My eyesight depends on it. Don't use CVS for eyedrops. Seriously. And interestingly, two people in the eye doc waiting room were saying what a tough time they were having with CVS and eyedrops and they actually transferred all of their prescriptions to a different pharmacy. Well gosh darn. Walgreens a block away from this CVS has the eyedrop that I need in stock and is providing it now. Amazing. Yay Walgreens. And, in less than five minutes! Rah! read more

ZERO stars for this outfit if I could!!! A month ago a friend had a tooth extracted and tried to pick up a prescription for hydrocodone her oral surgeon had sent electronically to CVS. When she arrived to pick up the prescription the pharmacist told her she had to have the prescription on paper, that they would not accept electronic Rxs. By that time her oral surgeon's office had closed. So she had to wait, in pain, until the next morning, drive to the oral surgeon, get the paper Rx and return to CVS. Today I went in with a paper prescription and the pharmacist refused to fill it. Said Rxs for Class 3 drugs had to be sent electronically! I'm forced to use CVS because of my health plan (which requires Silverscripts) but if you can avoid this place I urge you to do so. They are a bunch of really miserable people. I even got my oral surgeon to call CVS and the pharmacist outright lied to her, saying the switchover to electronic Rxs did not have a June 1 effective date. read more

Horrendous service. Pharmacist rude, told me she didn't know whether my phoned-in prescription had been received and she wouldn't check, I "had to" give her at least an hour. This after I was on hold for more than the 15 mins it took to drive to the pharmacy to check! (I got to the store and the pharmacist before I ever got off "hold.") And then no one ever phoned me to say the prescription was ready: I found out by the end of the day, when I finally phoned them! read more

Have them count out your meds -- in front of you -- when you pick up your prescription! This pharmacy shorted me 10 DAYS on my last prescription fill. I realized it later and, since this had never happened before, I assumed it was a simple mistake, so I called to have the issue rectified. However, after a week and a half of calling, leaving messages, and, finally, speaking to pharmacists Joel & Chris (on multiple occasions), I was told that because the label that they printed showed the full amount and their "inventory was not off", I was, in short, S.O.L. Since I had not asked them to count the tablets in front of me when I picked them up and paid for them (because who thinks to do that??), there was no proof otherwise. They also told my doc, who sent the script, the same. I, for one, will not use a CVS pharmacy again. Once a mistake of this sort is made, the patient has no recourse. Fellow patient, beware: at least two of the pharmacists at CVS Cordova are, at best, incompetent and, at worst, dishonest. Seen either way, it is fraud: both the patient, paying for a full prescription but receiving only a partial one, and CVS, whose supply is being pilfered, possibly for personal gain, are being defrauded by bad actors within the company. read more

I have been wondering how my Covid-19 test at CVS 2907 Cerrillos Rd. Santa Fe, NM 87507 today left me feeling so hopeless and depressed. It is because the person who administed the test at the pharmacy drive thru was 100 percent rude, unhelpful, uninterested, and impatient. I arrived five minutes early and was ordered to leave and come back at my scheduled time. When I returned, I was ordered to turn off my car and remove my mask so the employee could hear better. Then, she left and came back six minutes later, wanting to know what my name is again. Then my authentication number, and when I was having difficulty finding it, she said I would have to leave. I reminded her she started 6 minutes late, and that's when she lost it, and I called for a manager. She yelled at me through the glass at the pharmacy window that I can't talk to her that way, and was sent on break by the manager. These people do not adequately prepare the waiting area at the drive thru window, by demanding that test registrants remove their masks while in the test area, where dozens of others have recently been for the 10-minute test periods-- some are certainly positive for the virus. These people clearly resent their jobs, and those customers wanting a Covid-19 test as advertised. read more

Myself and my husband both had huge hassles transferring our RX over from Walgreens since they don't take our insurance...what a nightmare.

Don't EVER get hooked up with this so called pharmacy. I did because six years ago it was good. This last year I've had scripts misread, scripts I had refills for they said someone cancelled( not my doctor, I checked with him). One script they messed up I went back to my doctor and he wrote note to a pharmacy which I delivered in person. Then when I went back for refill, nothing changed. The clerk asked for my and my friends ID's well I was buying and had mine my friends was in the car outside. We are both in our mid 30's, well the clerk made my friend leave the store before I could pay for my beer and other goods. read more

I went in to get a passport photograph but was told by the store manager that I had to wait until all other customers in line for the store were helped before he could help me with a passport photo. The other day my mom bought buy one get one free black cohosh at CVS on Cordova in Santa Fe. She was charged about $15 each so she went back today and said she was charged incorrectly and the cashier said "no That's with the CVS card and I asked you if you wanted a card and you said no" my mom said that didn't happen and it didn't because I was there. I actually have a CVS card but I've no idea what phone number is associated with it. He never offered to look it up. She asked for a manager he said "I am the manager and I rang you up and you said no. we don't take returns" This is how your store manager chose to treat a woman in her 70s in the middle of a pandemic?
