While I have CVS Pharmacy locations closer to where I live, I drive by this particular location…read moreevery so often on the way home from work. Every now and then, I will stop by here out of convenience on the way to or from work. I have interacted with the staff, purchased random items, and browsed the shelves over the years. I do appreciate the MinuteClinic at this store and have used it a few times in the past. Tonight, I stopped by to use a coupon, and while I found plenty of an item, the price on the shelf was incorrect as there was also a promotion going on, but as I have noticed previously, the shelves have been missing the promotion price on them. The store is sometimes a bit messy and sometimes very clean. It really depends on the day I stop by. There are seasonal items a few rows in from the entrance though sometimes they extend further to the left side of the store (further away from the entrance). While staffing seems to be quite minimal at this store (or so it seems), the staff have been helpful when I have asked for assistance. If there is someone near the front of the store, they have often said hello when I have entered the store. Sometimes they are stocking items on the aisles until someone is ready to check out. Sometimes there is a wait for someone to come and assist at checkout if you aren't using the self-checkout machines. The staff have always been knowledgeable based on items in stock. I have had issues using some of the coupons before, but it really depends on the cashier. I encourage everyone to sign up for ExtraCare, which is a free membership and includes sales prices, deals for you, 2% back in ExtraBucks rewards, a $3 birthday reward, and up to $50 in ExtraBucks rewards at the pharmacy. Then, for $60 per year ($5 per month), you can purchase membership in the ExtraCare+ program, which includes $10 in ExtraBucks rewards per month, free same-day delivery, free shipping, free same-day Rx delivery, 20% off CVS Health brand products, and 24/7 pharmacist help line. Occasionally, there is a $48 discounted annual rate for ExtraCare+ or another promotion. I have heavily used the ExtraCare+ program over the past many years. Also, while the Black Friday CVS deals were incredible a number of years ago, now you can only get good deals but not incredible deals with free items. While I'm a huge fan of CVS in general and the ExtraCare+ program, the stores are hit or miss. I will gladly still come back to this store as need be in the future as I hope that CVS provides the store with more resources to get more staff members.

If you're thinking of heading to this CVS late at night--don't. Google says this location closes at…read more12am, but the store actually shuts down at 10. Glad Yelp has it right because they wouldn't correct it regardless. Misinformation aside, the service here is consistently abysmal. Walgreens had a sign up that they had closed at 7pm due to unforeseen circumstances. So I accepted my fate and tried to make it quick and painless. I guess my hopes were too high. Tonight, I had the misfortune of experiencing the impotent manager KADY proudly display her lack of problem solving skills, critical thinking and emotional intelligence, all of which are required for effective leadership. I don't expect a red carpet to be rolled out at CVS. But how about some basic professionalism? I'll even settle for the bare bones minimum. Instead, the consistent experience at CVS is disdain, laziness, and passive-aggressive manipulation from employees who clearly hate their jobs and want customers to know it. CVS: If you're listening, please stop putting people in leadership roles who lack the patience, competence, or emotional maturity to handle customers. You may be a giant corporation, but every single bad experience diminishes your already struggling reputation. People always remember how they're treated. And I, for one, am over paying premium prices just to be disrespected by discount employees who act like they're doing me a favor by showing up for work. Please do better.

I've learned that sometimes prescriptions don't auto-refill and often a phone call to the doctor is needed or sometimes a pharmacy is out of what you need but they don't tell you when they many have it back in stock. All of this to say that I started going to this Walgreen's for many of these prescriptions because I find the pharmacy staff here to be communicative and helpful. They also often have the meds we need while other pharmacies do not. While this is not the closest location to my house, it's conveniently located north of Shea on Tatum and I don't mind making the drive. Another perk is that they have pretty good hours and a drive-through for the pharmacy. I'll be back!

This is my nearby Walgreens, and I have been at this location off and on over the years whether to…read morebuy a quick item, take advantage of a promotion, use the pharmacy, or use their photo center. I have found their staff to be helpful and ready to point me the right direction or talk me through how their reward program works. If I was going to use a Walgreens for anything, this is likely the location I would stop by. I haven't been to a Walgreens in a while, and I was sent a reminder that my W Cash Rewards were going to expire if I didn't use some of them or make a purchase soon. I figured this was a good excuse for me to stock up on some paper goods, especially Kleenex or facial tissues, which I'm out of stock at home. I found that there were multiple options for brands, box sizes, number of ply, and whether soft or with lotion on them. I did walk around for a bit until I found the right aisle (which turned out to be in the front half of the store among other grocery items) though after I found them, I was able to take off rather quickly. When walking around today, I was reminded that this store regularly keeps the aisles looking good and items in stock, though as I also saw today, there were employees on the various aisles restocking items and changing price tags. When I was checking out, there were two people ahead of me, but the line moved rather quickly, and once I entered my phone number for my reward program, I found my own transaction to go quickly, too. I appreciate the mirrors along the back wall which show you if there is anyone in a given aisle. The W Cash Rewards program is a free program to sign up for and easy to use. You earn back 1% in Walgreens Cash rewards storewide, even at the pharmacy, and 5% in rewards on Walgreens branded products. There are also sales prices automatically unlocked and other savings coupons where you can earn reward dollars by making a purchase after selecting a given coupon. Sometimes the coupons are on a receipt from your most recent purchase. You can also find other coupons on the app or the website (or in a booklet or ad when you arrive at the store). While I do not frequent Walgreens as often as other drug stores, I often wonder why when I happen to visit a Walgreens store as it's so easy to shop there and my experiences are often very pleasant.
