This is my favorite pharmacy in Scottsdale. The staff is amazing, if you leave am message they call you right back, they text you when your prescription is ready. They bill your insurance correctly and make sure you get the best price. I've never had more than one person ahead off me in line, they are fast and cheerful. read more

CVS is a convenient place to stop both for prescriptions and the odd household item. Everything from Holiday decorations to Rx. This location is close to our house, so we are in here three or four times a week. The employees have been both helpful and friendly which make it easy. One tip I would offer is to sign up for their frequent shopper's program. It's pretty easy to do and you automatically get discounts on items at the register. Nice! read more

No wonder you have low ratings. Simple little thing... I googled "Rapid Test same day Covid results Scottsdale". You came up. YOUR page says that you offer same day results. So I booked a morning appointment. I plan my day around it. I even send an immediate email to the confirmation that I got asking to confirm that you do same day. No response. So I show up...once again, having planned my day around getting this because I need it. Guess what? Your advertising is 100% false and you offer "24-48 hour". By definition, this cannot be same day as 24 hours is one full day. I w ill never go back. You guys can't even get this right. Now I'll scramble to try to do this without you. I really wish I had read the reviews on this CVS before going, and unfortunately the experience has now soured my interest in going to another CVS for the foreseeable future. Anyone have some recommendations on a better pharmacy when I'm in the area? I recently was shopping in the two plazas off North Thompson Peak Parkway and figured I would give this whole curbside thing a shot, especially since they offered $10 off your first one. I was thinking the curbside service would SAVE me time. Lesson learned, the curbside service is not only a waste of your time, but your gas and sanity as well. I had placed this location as my preferred store when doing the curbside order and would swing by to pick it up. I received a text that my order was ready and waited and waited and waited following the instructions they had provided. After 10 minutes I thought this was getting ridiculous and went in to retrieve the order myself. When I went to the front of the store, no one was there.. again it was a waiting game. Finally Scott emerged and seemed as confused as I was and offered zero help. I actually ended up walking out of the store in frustration. After some back and forth through my emails and the app I discovered my order was assigned to another store (and no the text didn't tell me that, you don't really sift through the emails when you're driving and running errands). Don't you think Scott should have suggested this or would have a way to check? I mean I'm not an expert on their services, but I sure expect their staff to be. So there I go, driving another 15 minutes out of my way to go pick up the silly order at another location, what an inconvenience - NEVER AGAIN. read more

This pharmacy has gone down the drain since Amit left. Ryan Cook does not know what he's doing and he's the only working there. We took our child for a flu shot. He never once told us to make sure to hold her like they do at the pediatricians. She moved and could've gotten hurt. He then wouldn't know give shot again. He went ahead and filed claim with our insurance for service that didn't take place. He told us he was unable to get any of the shot in. I've spent two hours on phone trying to get it reversed so we can take her to the pediatrician. CVS transferred me to him and he didn't even talk on phone and hung up on me. No idea if he reversed it. They should not offer shots to children if they do not have trained pharmacists. I will transfer my prescriptions and never set foot here. read more

I had the best experience getting the flu shot for myself and my two kids there this year. I am divorced, and usually the paperwork of having three people with two different insurance policies and two different addresses throws most pharmacists off the rails - mistakes with paper work, insurance not accepted because of a wrong address etc. It usually takes more than an hour. This location was the fastest and the most professional I've even seen. Good job! read more

This is my 'go to' pharmacy. It's in my neighborhood and after living here for 2.5 yrs, it's the most convenient. Every year, I come here to use their Minute Clinic to get my flu shots. It's so easy to get in/out, I love it. I come here to buy greeting cards during special occasions and holidays. They also sell The Better Half's favorite candy here, so I can grab her a bag or two from time to time....keeps me out of the dog house. For couponers, they give you immediate rewards with coupons as you checkout. Unfortunately, I rarely use them because I only buy what I need. Great place to shop though. There's a guy (can't remember his name) that works the front cashier desk who's very friendly and always cracks jokes when you're cashing out...he's always got me laughing....mostly because he cracks jokes with some people in front of me and they don't get it, so they don't laugh, but I do....Scottsdale can be a bit stuffy at times. Bad place ! At Thompson Peak in Scottsdale. I visited the minute Clinic for a pink eye. The Petitioner prescribed me with the drops that I already told her gave me rash in my face. Since it was Sunday. I contacted them three times next Monday. No one call me back !!! I went to other CVS to present my complaint and they said. " we can not solution your problem since Minute Clinic does not have to do nothing with CVS, we only rent a place to them" what ??? Really ? I called the head's office...wow !!! Visited the Minute Clinic for plugged ears and a deep cough. I have been coughing up green stuff and the same had been draining from my nose, indicating an infection. The woman helping me noticed I was taking, what she claimed, was a high dose of a certain antibiotics in December and January and asked why. I explained that I had a sinus infection and bronchitis that wouldn't go away. She next asked about my HIV status, possibly because I am gay, for which I replied, negative. Obviously she didn't believe that I had a sinus infection or bronchitis a few months ago. Because, she mentioned further that such a "high dose" was usually used to treat HIV. I found her remark to be a little insulting. She continued to listen to my chest and realized that I was in fact wheezing. However, since I had been on "too many antibiotics" over the past couple of months, she suggested I take a few OTC medications and would not offer antibiotics. She also was reluctant to write a doctor's note, stating that one is still able to work while badly coughing and with plugged ears. I fly for a living and flying with plugged ears could rupture an ear drum. I instead visited the Walgreens Clinic, who discovered that I had an acute sinusitis and am congested behind one of my ears, requiring antibiotics. I obviously will not be returning to any CVS Minute Clinics. Their staff are obviously ill trained. read more

This is not against CVS but this location. The staff is AWFUL AND MEAN. Not patient and considering there is a Walgreens right across the street, you would be better off going there. If I could give "0" stars I would, the experience is always that bad. The pharmacy is not any better. I called in a prescription and was told when I went to go pick it up that I had not done it correctly. I had a mini altercation with the pharmacist who insisted I must not know how to use the phone system. I had a very, very bad experience with this CVS. Generally, when I need to pick up some medicine, I like it to be as hassle-free as possible. That was not the case yesterday. I originally arrived around 5 PM, and I dropped off my prescriptions. At the CVS that I normally go to, it usually takes them about 20 minutes to fill my prescriptions, so I can just take a quick nap in the car, or I can do some shopping. Not tonight! I was told it would take two hours to fill them... So I ended up going home and coming back later. When I came back, I waited a full hour to get my prescription. It turns out that there was some sort of "snafu" in the system... Really? Why have I never encountered this snafu before? I waited a full hour in the line, and every time a new car came up to the drive through window, I had to pull around and get back in line. This will have been my first and last visit at this location. read more

This CVS is usually on the ball. They have a nice selection of beer wines and liquor. The prescription area is why I usually come to this location. The employees are helpful and as quick as they can be in this type of business. Usually can get your script filled when you walk in in about 10 to 20 minutes. read more

I love CVS and purposefully go to CVS instead of Walgreens. Walgreens just seems like a run-down drug store, I think it's the layout. At any rate, I lived right next to this CVS for a years and so I was in here a lot. They have lots of stuff to browse and buy. Food prices are little high but it's a drug and there's a Safeway in the same parking lot so you pay for convenience. The store is always clean and I find the staff friendly -- a little too friendly. The guy at the counter always makes me laugh in that awkward sort of way. I appreciate his effort though. One and only gripe: the pharmacy is super slow. I always wait like 15+ minutes when I pick-up a prescription. Note, the prescription is ready there is just always a line and for some reason it just takes forever. The pharmacy isn't that nice either -- the staff don't ask me if I have questions with my prescription and their blah attitude makes me not really want to ask. But this CVS is still better than Walgreens any day. read more

We Went to the minute client with my 91 year old client. Who was suffering from cold symptoms. The 2 women that helped were clueless. They said that my client had NO cold symptoms and sent us to her cardiologist. The Cardiologist sent us for a chest X Ray and to the primary. Bottom line is that my client has bronchitis. The Primary Doctor put her on a Z pack and Robitussin DM. Sounds pretty easy to me. minute clinic is a waste of time and money. They are qualified to give a flu shot. read more

I was worried that they were closed (Yelp hours are incorrect, for pharmacy only, not the store), but I was greeted warmly by an employee and welcomed in. Mr. Kevin Rider, Pharmacist in Charge, went out of his way to provide EXCELLENT customer service. Because my local pharmacy on E. Bell was out of my medication and their pharmacist in charge refused to come in and sign an order, Mr. Rider took his own time to physically go and hand carry my script to his store.....it was a Schedule II so had to be hand carried. He ordered it, not thinking it would be there until Tuesday and yesterday I received a text that it was in. He did NOT need to do that...........but being out of your meds after four spine surgeries and two hip replacements he understood...........while the completely dim witted Gloria Johnson on E. Bell just didn't think it was important to go out of her way to help a senior citizen............. I will give all of my business to Mr. Rider and his staff................very friendly, clean, and most important....................he went out of his way to help a customer he did not know..............I urge all of you in the area to transfer your scripts to the store on FLW and Thompson Peak and leave E. Bell. E. Bell does have a wonderful pharmacist, AMY who started the ball rolling and I cannot thank her enough.............................. read more

Called, no one answered the phone so after 30 min on hold I got in the car and went to the pharmacy. Spent 20 minutes at the drive through window where this young pharmacist couldn't figure out how to transfer the prescription but rather than asking for help, she just kept saying she couldnt do it bc of state law (which is NOT true, I confirmed) and eventually sent me away. Called a different pharmacy, they confirmed she could transfer it, and they successfully transferred it for me. This pharmacy, pharmacist, and team really need to learn how to 1. use their systems, 2. do their job. Sending people away without prescriptions is NEGATIVE helpful. Ask for help if you don't know how to do something. It's quite simple. read more

We've always had a pretty good experience with this location (doesn't hurt that it's right down the street from us!) They are a little busy most of the time, but I think that's more on account that they take the time to service each person instead of running them through like cattle. I never feel rushed, the service is usually good and the people are nice. BTW I think a lot of customers treat pharmacy people like crap, so if you think you're getting bad service, try being nice for once. I know no one LIKES picking up their prescriptions, doesn't make it ok to take it out on the employees. I always make it a point to be polite, smile, even ask how their day's going. Joke about how busy it is. They usually seem to appreciate it, and I'm sure it helps. read more

Visiting from out of state and needed to get a TB test done. Went into this minute clinic and was told to come back Saturday at any time. Asked if there would be a wait and nurse said no- I could walk in and just needed a signature. NOPE!!!! I ran in after my 8 week old baby finally fell asleep, got there at 2 they close at 530, went to sign in and they were not accepting walk ins!!! Could not get my test read and wasted money. Called corporate and woman on the phone did not know what to do or how to handle my situation. Awful! read more

Not sure the guys name but I went to this pharmacy. I was given a prescription from my dr. The prescription ended up costing a ton if money. The pharmacist showed me how to go to the website if the medicine and register so I basically get it free for a year. For that alone this CVS gets 5 stars. Not to mention, Ali is very friendly every time I walk in. Even if I'm in a pissed off mood. read more

The staff that works the front desk are always super welcoming and friendly. With that being said, the pharmacy is a totally different ball game. In the past, the pharmacy staff has been rude, and not in any way caring. I went in the other day, needing something from behind that counter. When I asked the older woman if they had the generic version, she looked at me like I was a huge interruption, told me that it was in isle 16, and went back to typing. Knowing that it WASN'T in the isle, but not sure how to handle this person, I went and looked, and there was only a little sign for the main brand on the shelf. I went back, nicely asked the lady what it was called, hoping she would realize that it was not on the shelves. She looked at me like I was a complete idiot, and loudly, rudely, stated the main brand name. Ugh, are you kidding? I asked if they had the generic form one more time, and she responded, "Not that I know of." And continued typing. I was so shocked at her behavior and lack of manners that I left and went to the CVS on Bell.... Where they had the generic brand.... Behind the counter.... And I was done getting it within a minute. I have had far too many issues with this location and it's pharmacy to name. The customer service is spotty, frequently discourteous and they never seem to know their right hand from their left. It seems all the negative reviews are from the pharmacy department. And here is some more negative... My first trip to this CVS was to pick up a prescription that had been faxed over by my Dr. I got helped right away, but then had to stand aside and wait a good 25 minutes while the pharmacist argued, very loudly and rudely, with another customer about a refund. Apparently the girl helping me needed that pharmacist to approve something before she could give me my medicine. I was very amazed at how unprofessional this pharmacist was to be treating someone like that and speaking to them so rudely and loudly that everyone around could hear. Then, a few weeks later my husband goes in to this CVS and is ignored completely. There were plenty of people behind the counter to help, but no one even looked up to acknowledge him. They kept doing what they were doing or staring at their computer screen. We thought that was strange....And then he had to go today and the same thing happened again. Totally ignored! I hate to claim the race card, but my husband is Mexican and I can't help but wonder if this was a factor. I will never use CVS again, especially when there is a Walgreens across the street. read more
