It's probably the exact sandwich you want to eat. Super affordable, great meat to sandwich ratio, and you could go even greater with extra meat. There are not too many great sandwich, places in town, and this just hits the spot in the perfect way. All the makings of your neighborhood go to deli. Solid rolls, primo meats, solid fixins. The Italian is a really strong sandwich as well as many of the others. Get your fix

Alvin, his crew are awsome. They all have been there a long time and are greeted with smiles. This is the hidden gym in no Scottsdale for your deli needs. The sandwiches are the bomb!!!!

Amazing service and the sandwiches are top notch. For me it is always about the bread, their bread is fresh and soft! They load up the boars head meat too. This is a true gem for that real deal sandwich.

This place is so good period

Banana bread and lemon poppy seed cakes were about to expire. Old and slimy. The guy behind the counter has very poor customer service skills. The Italian sub was ok. Never coming back.

Ok this sandwich is delicious and gives a huge portion of protein. Plus the staff was so kind. Glad I accidentally found them!

This place had good reviews and the hype was reached pretty easily. The meat is all boars head and the bread is fresh baked, so that is a great start. The rest of the sandwich includes normal stuff like cheese, avocado etc, but it just was a really good turkey sandwich. I got the combo and that came with a tasty homemade macaroni salad, small bag of chips and drink for an extra $1.99. Looks like alot of regulars here and I might be the next one.

Just getting a QP of ham to go with my pretzel croissant waiting for me!

Goldman's Deli Where Your Soul and Your Stomach Both Get Hugged…read more If comfort food had a headquarters, it might very well be Goldman's Deli. Walk through the door and suddenly you're not just hungry you're home. The smells alone could make a grown person misty-eyed. Now let's talk about the pastrami. Lean, tender, and stacked so generously you start wondering if the sandwich needs its own zip code. One bite and you understand why people keep coming back. Two bites and you're already planning your next visit. The soups? Forget therapy have a bowl. Rich, comforting, and restorative. The kind of soup that makes you feel like somewhere in the kitchen a grandmother is quietly nodding with approval. And then there's the gefilte fish. Not the ordinary, polite little slice. This one is special delicate, flavorful, and downright magnificent. Even people who say, "Eh... I'm not sure about gefilte fish," suddenly become believers. There's a little schmaltz, a lot of love, and the unmistakable magic of real Jewish deli cooking. Eat there, take some home, and tell your friends because food this good shouldn't be kept a secret. You might arrive hungry, but you'll leave smiling, a little fuller, and possibly needing a short nap which is the highest compliment a deli can receive. And as they say with a wink and a warm heart: "Zei gezunt, un es gezunterheit eat in good health!" Or in plain deli English: "May you always be healthy... and may your sandwich always be this good." So I trecked 5 miles out of my way to Goldman's (when Chompie's was just a mile away --frankly I don't know why I didn't think about chompies) I ordered the chopped chicken liver appetizer which comes with slices of tomato, a piece of lettuce, slice of red onion, and challah bread. I paid $15.01 for this platter (lol) without a tip for a small scoop of the liver. Just look at the photo. I was shocked to see how small it was. I thought that with a base price of $13.99 that the scoop would be bigger or at least the same size as in the past when it was $9.99. The challah bread was yellow but did not take like challah. Yellow bread slices do not delicious challah bread make--no yeasty flavor as any good challah would have. So here I am regretting that I didn't give chompie's a try. I can assure you that I will not be returning to Goldman's. I know ingredients have gone up but this price for such a small scoop is an affront to the wallet.

We also shared the Italian fries, which were a huge hit at the table, and a slice of the almond cake for dessert. The almond cake was the perfect way to finish the meal--rich, moist, and not overly sweet. It's the kind of place that feels both casual and special, with great food and a fun atmosphere. The setting is uber Italian with a small Italian market feel and an array of different seating from long community tables to living room style loungers. There are nooks to hide in and enjoy great conversations. The Italian kitchen buzz is relaxing and full of energy. The place oozes an Nonna's kitchen. This is family, from the patriarch milling around with a heavy Italian accent to the proud family heritage behind the counter taking orders and issuing handshakes to friends. A very authentic surrounding that makes you smile. I ordered the porketta sandwich with small salad, side of giardiniera, and a side of homemade bread with olive oil. The roll was ethereal with a delicious taste, not overly crispy, savory and nicely shaved porketta meat. The added giardiniera was a slap in the face to your taste buds, perfect! The green leaf salad was lightly seasoned, not overly dressed and simple, but uncious. The only issue was the homemade slices of Italian bread and olive oil. I could not stop dunking and eating. After two orders, I had to stop. What a treat for lunch. The service is spot on, food was delicious and environment was relaxing and high energy. This is a hidden gem and tucked away in a back lot with a stand alone building. Sub sandwiches are a dime a dozen in the Scottsdale corridor but Andreoli's Italian Grocery is food with style, class and great ambiance for lunch or dinner. Treat yourself to more than just lunch. Andreoli's has great food and a cool vibe. Ciao

The inside is a convenience store with a deli counter and a few tables if you'd like to eat there. They have a wide variety of sandwich options, so there should be something for everyone. The convenience store also has a good selection of drinks, snacks, and alcohol. I ordered a club sub with provolone added and no veggies. My order was ready within just a few minutes, which was great when grabbing a quick lunch. The sub was simple, fresh, and tasted good. That said, I was expecting a little more meat for a $13 sandwich. It wasn't skimpy, but it didn't feel like the portion quite matched the price. Overall, I enjoyed my lunch and would consider stopping by again if I was in the area, but it's not a place I'd go out of my way to visibt.

You can make a value meal for $2.49, which includes either macaroni salad, potato salad or pasta salad, chips & a drink. I only wanted 1/2 sandwich. It was around $9. Service was fine, nothing over the top. They have a great selection of sandwiches hot & cold. Boars Head meat & cheese. I got it to go. They did have minimal seating, outside the front of store. Conclusion: Sandwich was tasty, sub roll was burnt but a good amount of beef & pastrami, pickles, cheddar cheese, mayo & mustard. I want to try their Ruben next.
