I have lived within a block or two radius of this store for almost 2 years now. I'd rather walk right past it and continue onto Harvard Square than to give them my business. I understand that a smaller store will have slightly inflated prices in comparison to chains. But anytime I've needed a convenience item from here I have more than paid for it. I ran out to purchase butter one time and ended up paying almost $7.00 for it. really? The help is always distracted, on their cell phones, or just generally putting you second to whatever they were doing. The porn behind the counter? tacky as fuck. I really don't wanna look at that when I'm trying to buy milk. The smell of Subway is about the only positive I can come up with for this store. The booze isn't a selling point as there is a liquor store much closer to my house not bending me over in the process.

Their hours online might not necessarily reflect when you are able to buy alcohol.
