    Sitting ALONE with no one else in line to get tested

    I've never left a review before, however, after what I experienced today from this staff member I want to ensure that as many people avoid this minute clinic as possible. I signed up for a rapid test with this CVS location as my mother just recently started chemo treatments and I need to visit her. Obviously her immune system is lower due to the cancer and so I wanted to make absolute sure that I wasn't putting her at risk. After driving 40 minutes to get to my appointment in time and running into extreme traffic due to an accident, I found myself 10 minutes late to my appointment. When I arrived, this staff member turned me away and said there was nothing she could do even though there was no one else waiting to get a rapid test. I attempted to explain my situation to her and she walked away from me and said there was nothing she could do. After waiting for 30 minutes for her to come back out, and seeing a grand total of ZERO people come in to the parking lot, she walked up to my car and asked what I was still doing there. I explained how desperately I needed to get a rapid test and that there weren't any other appointments available for the day but that I was the only one there. She started being EXTREMELY unprofessional by being rude, giving me extreme attitude, saying that I wasn't worth her losing her job, and that I would need to leave as other people were going to need my parking spot. When I asked her name so I could try to speak with someone else she once again walked away. I have always liked CVS but this experience was UNBELIEVABLE. You'd think that a healthcare worker would do everything in their power to be understanding and committed to the safety and health of patients, and yet this individual could not have been any less professional, kind, or understanding. I wish I knew her name but I hope that CVS can reach out to the woman that was working this COVID testing site at 2:40 PM on March 19th, 2021 and explain to her that that kind of behavior is a terrible reflection on CVS and what healthcare workers shouldn't aim to do for patients. I would avoid this CVS at all costs until they can make efforts towards ensuring their staff understands how to treat customers. I hope this helps anyone who is looking for a reliable place to get a covid test.

    This is a great CVS that's only been open for around 3 years. It's clean, the staff is friendly, and I've never not been able to find a product that I was looking for. Sometimes the lines get long, but the staff quickly step up to speed up the process. The pharmacy is wonderful and this 24 location is perfect should you need a prescription filled for a medical emergency. There's also a drive-thru for those cold nights when you don't feel like getting out of the car. There is ample parking too! Great location! Great store!

    Takes forever to get the pharmacy on the phone. Poor customer service!!! And the drug prices are excessively high.

    Terrible serivice. First time at this location, I have lived in Southfield a while and can't wait…read moreto get out because I have been constantly treated poorly. Today I was mistreated by a worker named phoebe. I came to pick up an order I placed 45 mins prior and stood in line. The pharmacist notified me he was filling mine right then. I listened to phoebe tell the woman sitting in the chair next to me that hers would be expedited meaning they haven't worked on them yet. I got a text that my prescriptions were ready 30 seconds later as I was sitting and began to stand back in line. I waited for the woman in front of me to finish. The worker behind the register with bright orange hair Phoebe saw me behind her and proceeded to lock eyes with the woman behind me who spoke up saying she had got a text saying her order was ready. Because I did not say it out loud and instead stood in line she made a fuss turned to the pharmacist and said this lady thinks I can fill hers at the same time, and gave me a disgusting look. She then huffed and puffed and continued to give me attitude. Then blurted that the reason the other woman wasn't standing is because she couldn't walk. I was waiting in that line for 10 mins after the first time so mine was patiently waiting and did not blurt out loud that my order was finished. She broke my heart and it sank. She did that purposefully to make me feel poorly. I told her she did not have to make me feel bad about the situation and she continued to press with attitude that it was not her intention and apologized to the person behind me like I wasn't even human. Disgusting behavior. As I walked out I told her she did definitely intend to make me feel poorly. I will never step foot in a store in this area again. Don't come here, it is not worth your time. I have always came to CVS but clearly I can't come in Southfield. 2 minutes before she told an elderly man that he needed to speak up about his purchases before he rang him up and scoffed when he said he was sorry. She is very rude and should not be serving customers. I would not hire her.

CVS please note, children don't Like getting shots. Making them wait a long, long, long time doesn't help make things any better. Goto CVS if you like waiting an hour to get a flu shot, enjoy rude staff that talks to each other and complains instead of helping customers, and don't forget the overpriced medicine and candy marked up on average 40 to 50% over target and Meijer.

Closing that one has caused great problems trying to get any prescription out of this one for over 3 months. I have had MORE PROBLEMS with 3 Walgreens nearest to my home in the last 2 years than I had in 15 years I was in Monroe. But the problems here will end up killing someone if they don't fix it. It has taken me so long and multiple times to just get my prescription. Over a week at a times and now instead of putting what I had tried to get since Monday back on my profile so I could try another Walgreen's, it was deleted. I have to call my doctor to have it resent to my new drug store - CVS. Others in the long line told me how many times the had come to get what their doctor prescribed. Store managers have told me closing the Evergreen and 7 Mile store means that a 1000 prescriptions are coming to this store. But that has been happening for now a long while and corporate is not doing anything to correct the problems. No added staff or hours. In fact this store has less staff and hours than Monroe MI locations have. All the Walgreens near me do, but Monroe has much less minority population. Do they think it OK to give us less service because we are in an area with high minority population !!!!????;!! WTF!!!! What will it take, someone dying while waiting for days to have a prescription to be filled. I can just switch to a different company, but seniors might not be able to do that. Because of the service I have received and the problems, Walgreens lost a loyal life long customer with a big month.

We never spoke about me transferring other medications to you, or that this was an option to get my first relative prescription filled there. Your entire response is based around a conversation, half of which never took place. Had it taken place, had you not looked for more ways to not help me, than help me, I would have of course considered it. "We must abide by policy and be able to manage all medications and not just controls." I am all about policy. I have been following policy for 20 years on that medication which is why it is prescribed to me. That is not what we are talking about here. We are talking about how you came across in a negative way as a business who did not take the time to understand the needs of a consumer, looking to give you business. We have many choices as consumers of where to take our business. You have every right to stand by your policy, which I completely understand. What I do not agree with is how I felt you did not take time to understand my needs at all and offered me no continued way forward, like I was doing something wrong. Even though you said you did here, which I also do not agree with. I did nothing wrong here, but felt as if I did after encountering you. I'm sorry, that is not something anyone would appreciate, especially during a time when people should be helping each other more. We can agree to disagree, I certainly do.
