The employee was just so rude. She couldn't even scan my gift card. Customers in the store were looking at me wondering why she was so rude.

The CVS in Stoughton mass at 1020 5 Central St. I would not recommend anyone to get the prescription fail at CVS and still will be waiting a lot of days and possible information everybody that will give you the wrong information on your phone. I am sure staff are nice people but they are just overworked. They were complaining about not getting lunch break. How customers suppose to know when is your break. Make it seems like customers are bothering them and should not line up for prescriptions. read more

Literally one of the most miserable places around, employees never smile or greet any customers, instead they act like zombies. Trying to get a prescription is like pulling teeth. Painfully slow service, anytime of the day. Half the time they don't even have your medicine, even though you've been texted to pick it up. I had an interaction with an employee yesterday as I was picking up my prescription. I greet the employee, and gave her my information. I received no smile, no hello, no eye contact, no thank you, no nothing. I changed my CVS to a different location afterward with my Dr, enough is enough. read more

I spoke with Veronica over the phone to get my prescription transferred over to them on 7.11.23 and I just had to write this review about her. She is amazingly polite, cheerful, and went out of her way to make sure that I was satisfied with the service she was providing. They are completely understaffed all the time they constantly don't have the medicine that you need in stock. They are very rude when they get to the phone they put you on hold for 30 to 40 minutes at a time and then come back and tell you that it's gonna take an hour to fill a prescription. These people are trying to tell me that they're trying to run the pharmacy with two people one pharmacist and one helper. How is that possible in a city the size of Stoughton if I was you, I would go to a different pharmacy maybe Brockton, where the city actually functions like a city. To top everything off the two people that are working there are completely overwhelmed and really really rude, especially the counter girl who doesn't have any position of authority besides the counter girl and she is completely obnoxious. Someone needs to look at the tapes and fire her or retrain her. also, she had some snide remarks to say about being patient and what not but she promised me my prescription will be ready by 6 o'clock. It wasn't that was after she made me wait for multiple hours during the day how many hours does it take to count out 21 pills this is ridiculous. also, to top everything off there was a lady behind me in line with no mask on and somehow I got bypassed again because they weren't on time with my medicine but when she went up to the counter, she was asking what a Z-Pak was and they were telling her it was the way that they used to clean up the end of Covid because she had Covid she was not wearing a mask and she was standing about a foot away from me and then the lady had the balls to tell me to be patient after she really needs to be fired. Can never get through to a pharmacist. They've messed up my seizure medication twice since moving to Stoughton in June. Poor communication, poor medication management, poor service. The store itself is also dirty when you physically go into the location. I'll transfer back to Boston and have my meds shipped to me instead. read more

This intersection is just infected with 2 terrible pharmacies! Including this one! Not that there is exactly much wrong with this store, but in general, there are so many more lively, bright and inviting CVS locations that this one is just not worth visiting (plus, I don't live around here so it isn't such a convenient spot in general for me). This CVS is just so distasteful. The layout is completely off... nothing flows and things that seem like they would be near each other in the store are on completely opposite ends. The store is rather large, yet was designed terribly and is troublesome to get around when busy, unless you're in the front aisle. Meaning that, the aisles seem to be too long for the space the store has and the aisles themselves are narrow. It was renovated a few years ago and while not the newest of the many designs used in CVS stores, it's newer. Also, don't even bother with the ExtraBucks Coupon Center at this location. Normally, I go in CVS and scan my ExtraCare card to get coupons, but the machine was out of paper and there was only one employee trying to ring up 5 people. The machine was in need of replacement and not only did I lose my coupons, but at the same time, it just shouldn't be that way (for other customers too!) When I got to checkout, it still took ten minutes due to the fact that ONE cashier was there with a line snaking into the seasonal aisle. Why couldn't they have just called up another associate. Terrible customer service! My best suggestion is to go to the Rite Aid in the Stoughton Town Center Plaza down the road, I haven't been there, but have been to both here and Walgreens across the street, both a few times, and they are both TERRIBLE. Don't even bother. Plus, anything this store carries you can probably find at Stop&Shop (that is also not great, but ok for convenience) 2 seconds down the road. 2 stars.... could definitely use some improvement in nearly all manners here. I am from out-of-state, visiting the area. The pharmacy connected with my pharmacy in California, instantaneously. They filled the prescription quickly and charged less than my home pharmacy. The other employees in the store were equally as helpful and polite. read more

Really big CVS close to Stoughton Center. They have all the same stuff that every CVS carries...convenient store food, candles & cards, frames, decorations, accessories, magazines & make-up, cold remedies & aspirin, personal hygiene products, photo center, pharmacy & the best most convenient thing ever...everyone's favorite display filled with giftcards to use at a plethora of businessess has expanded even more! Perfect one stop shop for those last minute gifts. They should probably ask another cashier to help ring when there are over 4 people waiting in line & the customer at the front is needy & taking up all the time of cashier #1. Just a tip. read more

Absolute WORST WORST WORST PHARMACY. Told me my script would be ready in 15 mins came back in an hour and it wasnt ready. Came back THREE HOURS LATER .. in a rush on a friday and they needed to "process my ins card" WHY WOULDNT YOU DO THAT THE FIRST TIME I CAME TO PICK IT UP ??? Came back 2 days later to be told it will take 20 mins to process my info!! HOW MUCH CAN YOU MAKE PEOPLE WAIT!!! Such an unorganized pharmacy. Nothing but wasting people time while they all sit around and chit chat when there are constantly 5 or more people waiting to be serviced. One line open and 7 people working behind the counter. The store "supervisor" isnt any help either. Absolutely rediculous!!!!!!!! POOR service and poor communication. read more

Horrible pharmacy. I went there today to refill a prescription and the young pharmacist (can't remember his name but he was the only African American on staff) was rude, condescending and downright worthless. I stayed with this pharmacy even after there was gun violence there a few years back. This jerk kid actually was the last straw. My family, our prescriptions and our business will never be back. If you want bad service and gang violence, stop into this CVS. read more

OK, I lied. The only reason I gave it five stars is because of the prior review that obliterated the store primarily because of it's "design". I would give it a solid 3.5 stars and frankly, haven't been to any current day pharmacy that would warrant 5 stars. Received attentive and prompt service today and the store was clean and organized. Typically I would shop across the street at Walgreens because they have a superior pharmacy IMO and the customer service is excellent even if the store is a bit dated and gloomy. Parking is easy and accessible at both stores, unlike the CVS in Westwood. Can't wait to read what Brendan wrote about that place. Oh, he does have lots of pharmacy reviews among his 1129 reviews and nearly 18K photos. I was feeling really ill today, but want to thank CVS for the great care and Brendan for the chuckle.
