I was on my way to an event in the area and I had a craving for pork rinds...I stopped at this Walmart and they had a good selection of them....they had national brands as well as their Great Value brand. Their snack section was well stocked and nicely organized. The staff working here are not the most happy nor professional, but that has been the norm at most Walmarts I visit. read more

NEVVVEEERRRRR AGAIN!!! This has to be the worst Walmart in all of Massachusetts.. they lock EVERYTHING up in cages and then no one working or there to help you... Today was the straw that broke the camels back... NO CUSTOMER SERVICE to return the defective items that was shipped to me from an online order (please note, it was totally damaged by the way the incompetent employee packaged the FRAGILE order)... Went to buy a Polaroid camera and no one was working in ELECTRONICS... Found an employee walking around and asked for assistance only to be told that's not her department... Went to check out on an early Wednesday afternoon and out of 25 registers, only 3 ppl were ringing up customers. The 3 lines were ridiculously LONG!!! FINNAALLLLYYY got to my turn and the lady just turns off her light and leaves... there was a million ppl behind me too, we all looked confused as normally one would inform the customers where the cut off is... We find the team lead to tell her someone just up and walked away and she laughs hysterically... none of the customers found it funny (myself included)... eventually someone comes over and helps us out (as ppl were leaving the line)... she told me she was 'over with today'... I don't blame her, I am beyond over Walmart!! YOU GUYS, either go to another Walmart FAR AWAY from this despicable one or SHOP A TARGET! This has been our Walmart of choice for decades. The store has changed over time; however, it is still the best in our region. That says a good deal as newer Walmart super stores with more options and more space have opened. The food section has the staples and items are fresh and within serving dates. The fruits and vegetables are also fresh and enough to meet our menu. The electronics section has always met my needs, and there are numerous new and older DVDs. There are a number of small businesses in the front; however, I have only used the Dunkin Donuts which was fine. The bathrooms are clean and the staff do an excellent job of removing shopping carts from the parking lot. We have also ordered online and picked up in the store. This went well. The garden center is seasonal and meets one's basic needs. We will return. read more

If you want to be assaulted verbally harassed and accused of stealing when making a $500 purchase from a poorly managed barely functional establishment then by all means go here. But if you haven't been to this Walmart yet you should be ware of a store associate Nerlande. During my husband and my experience at this store we were called the B word by this pathetic excuse of an employee, and physically assaulted when they pushed carts into our bodies and arms trying to rush us out of the checkout line when we were still scanning and paying. When trying to retrieve fellow members name tags they turned their bodies adjacent to view of their names, and directly ignored all requests for management. Please do not come here if you have a family your planning on keeping safe. This is a very poorly ran environment and I would not recommend any person I care about to be of objection to their abuse on customers. read more

I have been using this Walmart for my food pick up since he beginning of 2022. And have been very pleased with the employees who shop my orders, bring my orders out to my car for non contact delivery. I only had a issue last order with something that was damaged. I wrote my comments in their feedback. And within a few hours store manager Ed for pickup. Called and apologized for the item credited my account immediately. And told me to donate item. And he put on hold same item when I come this week a replacement at no charge. I will continue to use for my food and household supplies. Also the store inside has made major improvements. By moving customer service to the front of he store. And the employees are very accommodating with a smile. read more

Saw they had a tv online I've been looking for and they only had two left in stock, went in to pick it up and it came out to $26 more in the store then shown online, showed the man at electronics ringing it up by the name Eugene and he ignorantly rolled his eyes and said they don't have that tv in the store.. which is was the exact tv I literally had on the counter , then I asked for a manager and he went on to tell me that's only the "online price" which didn't make sense because i went to this location for this tv for that price ... funny because after I purchased it showed 1 in stock online which clearly means I bought the other one.. extremely horrible customer service. read more

I made a online order and when I came to pick it up the order wasn't done yet and the manager Alex gave me a hard time about it. He was acting like he didn't want to work and didn't want to do his job , he supposed to be the manager and he didn't even check if my order was done yet he simply just told me to come back later and gave me an attitude with it. I was in need of a new phone and had previously been very satisfied with the phones Wal-Mart offered and the service that Straight Talk provides. So this morning after much procrastination I ordered the new Samsung A50 phone and a case for pickup at the Brockton location. I ordered it before I went to work and was extremely happy to see it picked within 15 minutes. I work for another national retailer and work around the corner so I figured I shoot over and grab the phone before I headed home. I noticed that the Wal-Mart App had a neat check-in feature that alerted the store that I was on my way. As I drove in the parking lot looking for the special Customer Pickup Section I realized they didn't have one. Are they the only retailer in America not offering curbside pickup??? I parked my car and walked up to the Customer Service Associate who was monitoring the longest line in the nation. I asked her "where was the line for the customers who already paid for their merchandise?" All I got was "back of the line". There was no way I was waiting in a line that wrapped around an entire Wal-Mart for an item that I had already paid $400 for. I went back to my car and called the store and chose to speak to the Pick up department and was told I had to wait in line. I asked if the Manager would make an exception and was told "No". In this day and age where businesses are struggling to stay afloat I was appalled that Wal-Mart and this Manager as a representative of the company could care less of this $400 sale. Moral to this story is to buy small business whenever you can, sure you'll pay a little more but these business owners are your friends and neighbors who would welcome a $400 sale with open arms!!! read more

I have been to this store plenty of times over the years and though my experiences have always been less than stellar, the experience I had yesterday has sealed the deal. First, messy and disorganized doesn't even describe it. I cut them some slack at first, it is the holidays... I literally had to go price check every item I wanted because nothing was in the right place. UGH. Went to the service desk to get my company's tax-exempt number, waited for 10 minutes for an assistant manager to casually make her way to help me. The CSM walked by and said he had something else to do. Seriously? So when she shows up, she has no idea how to look up my # but supposedly she is one of the only ones who can do it. Fantastic. Her, "can you go do your shopping and come back?" me "it's already done." her ::: loud grumble::: Oh. I'm sorry. NOT. In the midst of this, she takes a personal call on her cell. COME ON. Finally gets me a number and sends me off with a smile. Thanks. Get in long-ass line. There are two registers open. Lots of Walmart clad associates just wandering but NOT working the registers. Totally efficient. Maybe they are organizing the merch on the shelves, riiiiiight. So we get to the cashier. I hand her my tax-exempt card. Tell her what it is. Make sure she acknowledges it. Good to go? HA. She scans the entire order through -- about 30 items, couple hundred of dollars. Realized she had to put tax exempt in before. Needs to void and re-do entire order. WHAT?! We tell her "no thanks, we have to go" (Which we do, we're on work time and its 5 minutes before our office closes) She calls over another manager, he does something to the computer and walks away. Still being charged tax, he comes back. "We have to ring it all through again..." Again we say, "no thanks, we have to go." My co-worker asks if they can hold the carriage and she'll come back in the morning to buy the stuff. Manager says "sure!" She repeats herself to confirm. He says, "Well, I can't guarantee it will still be here..." That's where we walk out. Seriously the WORST customer service ever. EVER EVER EVER. Waste of MY time and my company's time. read more

Went into to the Brockton Walmart store to purchase fishing license and BB gun pellets. Had to have an associate paged 3 times and when he arrived he had NO uniform or Walmart ID to let me know he worked there, just a plaid shirt on. He looked like he just rolled right of the streets with his keys in his hands, asking me what do I want!!!! He made it clear I interrupted his break. He was clueless as to what kind of pellets i was asking him for, so I waited on myself and took what I needed. Couldn't get my fishing license because according to him, the machine was down, which I didn't believe for a minute. He was USELESS. I wish I could give this store no stars. They are terrible. Twice I have ordered things online and picked them up at this store (they are the closest). When you order online you have to go to this desk in the far back. Both times I have gone there has never been an associate there. There is a sign that instructs you to touch the screen which is supposedly suppose to alter an associate that you are there. The first time I went to pick-up my order I waited almost 20 minutes for someone to help me. I chalked it up to a busy night- maybe they had a few call-ins, who knows. But then this past Tuesday evening, about 6PM, when I went there the same thing happened. I go back to the desk, touch the screen and wait. Meanwhile numerous associates are walking by. None of them greet me or ask me if I'm being helped. When I finally get someone's attention she rudely replies "Did you touch the screen?" Um..yeah I did 20 minutes ago. She says nothing and proceeds back into the stockroom. By the time I finally went out and tracked down a manager I was furious. No apologies- nothing. Fine so I left. Two days later my brother decided he didn't want the PS3 I got him and wanted to exchange it for another gaming system he liked better. First he waits in the customer service line for 40 minutes only to be given a hassle about exchanging it although he had all the receipts, ect. So I called the store. The first time I called I was sent to the fitting rooms???? Where the woman who answered was SOOOOOO rude. She says "how would I know, I work in the fitting room?" So I calmly asked her to transfer me to a manager. Well wherever she transferred me to did not answer. It just rang and rang and rang. Finally I hung up and called back. The phone must have rang for 7-10 mins before someone picked it up. I asked for a manager only to be placed on hold for another 5 mins. I did eventually get to speak with a manager but it was not only a struggle but quite a hassle. This store either needs more help or better training. My feeling is that it needs a little of both. read more

We normally don't shop the grocery section but got some milk & Breyer's ice cream last time...speaking of, the cold dairy section was severely picked through on the Friday night I was there. Like I implied before tho, this Walmart is no more or less cleaner than the others & the employees are shabby-looking themselves, especially the slow-as-molasses, grouchy dressing room attendant. This is one of the best Walmart's in the country. The store is always stalked and never crowded! It is overstaffed for once and not under staffed like most Walmarts. I was in this store a couple of weeks ago. I waited close to a half an hour in the customer service line. The only cashier at the register was having some sort of problem and it was tying the line up. Rather than calling a manager to help, he just stood there trying to figure out the problem. Meanwhile, the line kept getting longer and longer. No call for back up, nothing. There was a girl also working at the customer service desk who was doing something else. She seemed oblivious to the fact that the line was long. She kept doing what she was doing, seeming to ignore the line and the people waiting. She should have stopped what she was doing and jumped on register to help get the line down. That is just common sense and good customer service. Maybe I am expecting too much from a company who hires employees with the IQ's of gnats! Furthermore, I also recently found out this store no longer does price match. I've worked in retail management for years. I was disgusted! I went in for the soul reason of purchasing water for our cooler. These bottles are only found in the front of the store by the door..I know, I missed them twice. I went to a register to ask if someone could assist me with lifting them and getting them in a carriage or my car? The girl took about 10 minutes to finish with someone in front of me because she and the male manager were busy laughing and joking while customers were waiting...that should have been a red flag right there. Finally at my turn, I asked about purchasing the bottles and she looked at me like I was 2 saying where was the "thingy" to scan ? I later realized she was telling me to go tear the bar code off the bottle and bring it back to her? Hello? No code in the computer or no one to ask? Rip off a label? Seriously? So I went out of line and back to the bottles except I picked up the 2 bottles and brought them in a carriage to the register...what I was trying to avoid. She was still laughing with the manager and when I waited in line another 10 minutes gave me a look like I had inconvenienced her. I asked "Is there a problem if I ask someone to help me lift these in my car?" Her reply was this.... "I won't be the one lifting them so it doesn't matter to me". WHAT??? I was shocked. What did I do? There was one manager running around cracking jokes with the girls and another manager was busying visiting with some friends and holding a baby. The line at CS was 20 deep with 1 person working and I'm getting attitude from a teenager because I'd rather not throw my back out if I didn't have to. In the end, I loaded up the carriage, put the water in my car myself and that was that. If I need a gallon of milk, sure, I'll stop but now I know why I go to Target instead. Like I said, I've worked in retail management for years and if this young lady worked for me, or any of my collegues either, she'd be picking up her last paycheck and my managers would be having some serious re-training. read more
