since this CVS is close to my job, it's the most convenient, but I will go out of my way to use another CVS. Extremely rude and unprofessional staff every time. Always short staffed. They close entire pharmacy for an hour each day 1p - 2p. You can never-ever speak with someone from pharmacy on the phone. Worst automated attendant in the world. The pharmacy doesn't keep your insurance info on file and often tries to charge you the inflated no insurance price for drugs. read more

I presented the same pharmacy insurance information at the onset of coming to this store when I had a broken wrist and 6 months later, as now I tested COVID positive, they made me take the time to straighten out my information with them saying that If "you don't have insurance, we have a coupon for you". Me: made face under mask. "I have insurance: here it is & I've shared it before. Why is it that over six months of working with my family, husband and two dependents, that your computer system continually, flags us as non-insured? Could it be that someone inside your office failed to enter the information in accurately. Are you running a slimy-insurance-fleecing operation??? " Will find another. I had hernia surgery and my doctor is in Massachusetts. He gave me a prescription for pain medicine They refused to fill it because it's an out of state prescription. The Doctors office is closed and I'm in pain and they can't take a prescription from literally 10 miles away!!!! Heartless and ridiculous!!! read more

Fire your pharmacist. She is an incredibly rude nasty person with no professionalism and threatens patients. She will refuse to fill your Rx for asking questions about why it wasn't filled on the date it was suppose to be. Never swore at her or anything but she just threatened to not fill my Rx ever again and hung up on me. read more

The pharmacy staff all needs to be under review. Not only do they ignore patient concerns. The conversations overheard from them were wildly inappropriate. I sat for about 15min waiting to pick up and heard them laughing at patients, judging them and making comments like "this dumb old guy is too stupid to read the pin pad". I was appalled by what I heard. There were several people in line so I am not sure if they were talking about someone who was just there or someone who had already gone but it was absolutely unprofessional behavior. This is without a doubt the worst CVS pharmacy I have ever dealt with among the 10+ I have used over the years. They are singularly unhelpful, refuse to fill perfectly legal prescriptions if the doctor doesn't answer every question to their complete satisfaction (which many doctors don't think is their job), and simply don't fill prescriptions when they say they will. The above rating relates to CVS corporate and cvs.com, not my local CVS pharmacy. I want that known up front. Unfortunately, it affects every CVS pharmacy nation-wide, but there is no way that I found on Yelp to provide a review of CVS as a company. The rating is based on a recurring problem which I mentioned to my local pharmacy staff, who have no ability to correct the situation, as well as reps who answer the CVS customer service 800 #. The problem is how the cvs.com Rx program was written. Using cvs.com, it is impossible to request online a fill of an Rx on file which has not been filled previously. A customer in that situation must have a live conversation with a pharmacy staff person. That is a waste of time for both the customer and the pharmacy staff who could be performing their jobs. Today I wasted 10 minutes on hold before I even was able to speak with a person to request my Rx. Not only that, but the website shows the date that a new Rx is sent electronically to the pharmacy by an MD regardless if the Rx actually was not filled on that date. That is inaccurate and misleading. This problem is fixable if CVS took steps to rewrite that portion of its website program. I know this to be true because I previously used both Walgreens and Rite Aid websites to request Rxs, and neither of those websites presents this problem. Since I have made CVS Customer Service aware of the problem more than once, it seems that CVS simply chooses to ignore the problem and the inconvenience it causes customers. If I were not required by my insurance carrier to use CVS, I would not. read more

This CVS, particularly the pharmacy manager, profiles and discriminates. I was publicly humiliated, and she made several false accusations and refused to provide service to me ever again. I have moved 4 times in 3 years due to my husband's job, and have been severely and chronically ill for 6 years. I have never been treated anywhere near as badly as the pharmacist here treated me. She made me feel less than human, like she didn't think I deserved medical care, and literally said she just plain didn't feel like "doing the paperwork". I have always, always been courteous and polite to her and every other employee there. I was still polite and respectful while she was profiling me and making a scene in front of several other customers. I was speechless, hurt, and in tears when I left. She could have handled the situation much more professionally and privately. A phone call or letter in the mail would have sufficed. Not waiting until I come in to fill my regular scripts that I've gotten for years and ambushing me with her vitriol. I'm from the South and only moved to New England due to my husband's job and because he's from here. We lived in Boston first and now NH. I've never been treated with so much disrespect, rudeness, and downright racism. New England in general is a miserable place, and the attitude of the pharmacist at this CVS was appalling. Manners, common decency, and compassion go a long way. This CVS, the awful pharmacist there, and New England in general clearly never learned this. This is not the kind of community I want to raise my children in and I plan to move my family back home very soon as a direct result of our interactions with people like the pharmacist at this store. read more

This CVS Pharmacy Manager Brittney Stereotypes and uses profiling to refuse customers. I'm on the Suboxone Clinic, have been 2 years(having 2 years clean after using for 25 is something I finally fell good about that always has to be destroyed by people like this). I always fill my script at Epping(Best CVS around), she just happened to be out of pills yesterday. So I had them call the Stratham store before i drove all the way there 22 min(already in the car 25 min) and they had them. My mother drove there, I walked in, walked up to the counter and she took my paper. she looked at me , she looked at the paper and then said she wouldn't feel comfortable filling the script without being able to call to make sure the script is valid. I told her to look it up I fill my script every 2 weeks at Epping with no problems, she said she didn't care she wasn't going to fill it. I asked for the manager she said she was the Pharmacy Manager and that the Store Manager was not in charge of her and she had final say. so I asked for the 800 complaint number and left. My mother went inside 5 minutes later and specifically asked to speak to Brittney first then had her ring her out with no problems(filled the script without even a question with the script in MY NAME) so she never even looked at the name or ran the script through the computer. she just refused me based on my profile and the pills being filled. an EX JUNKY WITH RED AND BLUE HAIR, WEARING A SUPERMAN T-SHIRT, A SUPERMAN SWEATSHIRT, AND BLACK PANTS. I'm 37 years old but look not ever 25 and I'm sick of being profiled because I don't fit the norm. this CVS DISICRIMINATES against anyone who looks different. read more

There staff has a high rate of turn over. The current staff is horrible. They are lazy, demeaning and caustic. They are so customer unfriendly, I had to leave them for another drug store. I would tell any one to never use the pharmacy. read more
