I finally placed my online order, getting 30% off for Cyber Week promotion, 8% cash back on Retail Me Not and a 40% off offer on mix & match Neutrogena products + a hairdryer. In-Store: I waited for text confirmation but when I got to the store, they couldn't load their site nor had they received my order. They couldn't give me the same promotional discounts but I did get a double side-serving of smug indifference (thanks Brittany). Thank goodness for assistant store manager Wesley: I discovered later that I'd left my credit card behind and he was genuinely helpful when I called then stopped in to pick it up. Wesley said, "It's always nice when you have the opportunity to help people." Awww. Wesley gets 5 stars & bumps up the overall experience to an average 3-star rating. I'm sure he'll be gone soon lol. CVS never tries to find a better price for prescriptions for their people, and if you find one on your own it's a whole big thing. You have to wait twenty minutes for them to re-process the entire prescription. This is a HUGE conglomerate, how is it possible that a prescription here costs me $89, yet at Hannaford the same drug is $5? CVS definitely has more spending power than Hannaford, so the only explanation is that they are hoping you won't check. It's truly disgusting. Today I sat on the phone on hold for 45 minutes to ask why my prescription for a pain medication for a compressed disk in my back & frozen shoulders has been processing for 3 DAYS! The tech who finally answered the phone told me they were just a couple days behind filling peoples prescriptions. On what planet is that ok? It's like "oh, you're in terrible pain? Meh, we'll get around to it in a couple days." The CVS website says: "Putting people first-We are customer obsessed. We walk in others' shoes to improve the customer and colleague experience. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and efficient. They call me by name as soon as they see me, engage in friendly but fast conversation, and have me on my way with a smile! Their hours are clearly listed for when they will be on a very short lunch break. This information is also included in the text reminder whenever I have a prescription ready for pickup. I was paired with Shawn L. as my respiratory therapist who set me up with a new cpap machine. I was able to try many different masks and sizes and ask questions and was given all the time in the world to feel comfortable with this new equipment. In the month since I've started cpap therapy, Shawn has been available to answer questions or swap out for a new style mask that might be more comfortable. I could not be happier with this company and as a nursing assistant at Exeter hospital, I appreciate and recognize great care.
