What I have found is when I go to order a refill thru their website for any prescription that requires a doctors approval it is not forwarded to the doctor. It sits at Walgreens until you go in person to find out why you have not received it. The thing that is even more frustrating is the pharmacy tech is never the same. I have requested a conversation with the pharmacist and have been blocked each time. I am thankful there are other pharmacy options available.

They have added a self check out that can help speed things along if you don't want to have a chat with the cashier. I actually prefer the friendly banter with the cashiers. The cashiers are always helpful. I usually use the drive thru for the Pharmacy. Their drive thru is always busy. This is the only CVS for a few miles. Some days the drive thru zips through fairly easily and other days it doesn't. I like to use their app to help track if my prescriptions are ready. I haven't run into any unpleasant Pharmacy staff in the drive thru. This location also has a RedBox and photo department. They have ample parking.

With that said, this is one of the only places of it's kind in a fairly large and expanding part of the county, you may have to have a little more patience and grace when getting your prescription filled. Just take a look while standing on line at the pharmacy, there are prescriptions filled overflowing from the shelves. The one "complaint" is the drive thru that is shared with prescription pickup AND Covid testing. The Covid testing is taking up time/space in the drive thru. I know we don't want people with Covid in our store, but we also don't want potentially very sick people having to traipse past us shopping, to the back of the store to pick up meds because the drive thru is too long. There is a double drive thru at this location, I wish they could figure it out. The pharmacist has been very responsive as far as notifying me about potential drug interactions and the tech was very helpful when I panicked because my blood pressure was very high and the blood pressure pills I needed weren't in their delivery. They were able to get me some pills to get me through. I deeply appreciate this location for the location and the care provided by the pharmacy staff. The friendliness of the front of store staff is also very appreciated.

I was told to go to the location in person so they could expedite the service and have it ready in 15 minutes or so. After going through the drive through and being told I had to wait a little longer (not a big deal), I told them I would be waiting in the parking lot. I then received a phone call from the pharmacist SCREAMING at me telling me she told me to come inside and not to go through the drive through... I was completely taken back... honestly I had no problem coming in but why didn't the guy tell me that at the drive through window and why were both of them so rude to someone sick who was never rude to them... spending time to go out of your way to CALL me just to scream at me and tell me I was wrong instead of just trying to fill my prescription is extremely unprofessional and disheartening. Absolutely ridiculous to treat a sick person this way.... Shame on you CVS.

I stopped in last night to replenish my cheese supply, as they regularly run a "buy 2 get 3 free sale" on shredded cheese, and that's a great value, but in general, their pricing has gotten too high. They do have nice things like a fresh sushi bar, even a salad and Asian food buffet bar, but I'm real leery if things like that, especially after Covid, when no one is monitoring it. They are a good source for finding some rare, or harder to find items, but will pay a premium for them. I understand stores are in the business of making money, but when you can regularly run a "buy 2, get 3 free" sale and still make money, then your mark ups are simply too high. My receipt last night showed my savings was almost to the penny the same as the amount I spent...and again, I'm sure they're making a profit, so it's disappointing they run such high pricing
