First brick and mortar place I have be in for a year. I haven't been inside anywhere except my home since March 2020. March 4, 2021 I drove from Austin to get my first COVID vaccine. My appointment time was 2:45pm. I was already back in my car by that time. You can check in via your phone 15 minutes before your appointment. You then walk in and you get the famous white card. They then have you snake around the store to stand in line on aisle 15. There was no one else there when I got there. I waited for about two minutes before a tech came and got me. I sat down and she gave me the shot. She told me I could wait in my car for 15 minutes to be sure I didn't have a reaction. I was in my car by 2:40pm. It went smoothly. Everyone was friend and nice. I am so glad I am on the road to being fully vaccinated. Thank you Temple CVS staff! read more

Girl at the drive thru was beyond rude. We waited in the rain for 10 minutes to be told we had to get at the back of the line? Wtf? Then when we got back up to the window she 'couldn't find' the orders for the prescription I saw my doctor submit 2 hours before. The Belton location may be out of my way, but it's worth the drive. read more

Who rates a chain pharmacy on Yelp?! Who *really* cares *that* much?! Answer: I do. Because this CVS is miles above other pharmacies in the area, and I'm so grateful! Thanks to spending well over a decade in the area and changing insurances a good number of times, I've used pretty much every pharmacy in Bell County. I have accounts in enough places I probably look like a dealer (I'm not. Promise!). So when I was given a prescription that was both rare and time-sensitive to receive, I figured I could find at least one place that had the drug in stock. Boy was I wrong. I called eight pharmacies in Temple explaining the situation and asking if they could order it. EIGHT PHARMACIES. This CVS was the only pharmacy that showed any concern at all. They rush-ordered the drug at no cost to me and I had it less than 24-hours later. Hannah, one of the awesome techs, called me as soon as she knew they could get it in so I could stop panicking. And this was at the end of the month when they're slammed enough with refills. They didn't make a bunch of money off this one prescription, but I will happily brave the 31st Street traffic to support a business that actually cares about helping its customers! read more

The pharmacist here is terrible. I called ahead to get a vaccination and they told me it would be available here. When I came they had me sit down and wait 20 minutes, and then told me to leave and come back another day because the pharmacist was busy. Very poor service. read more

My daughter was unable to get her insulin refilled after an hour of attempting to get staff to use a free supply coupon from the manufacturer. We then called together and waited on hold for 1.5 hours only to be hung up on. Not easy when you are in two different states and come to find out, the staff person was not putting in the correct information/Bin number and my daughter has less than a days supply of insulin due to moving and changes in insurance. read more

Liz was heartless when I told her I could not verify any more information bc I was short of breath due to asthma and was picking up an inhaler. Pharmacist was able to get it without anymore info bc I could not breathe. Liz should work in another business. I know this bc I am also a nurse and would never treat anyone like that. read more

This CVS Pharmacy lacks customer service skills by some of it's staff. There is one male pharmacist who lacks any client skill. It is hard to get him to even acknowledge your existence. On the bright side there are a few excellent staff members there. It is simply that the poor management they cannot over come. Also there is one pharmacist there who is excellent, but I think she works weekends. read more

We are from out of town & my mom had emergency surgery & was in Baylor S&W for 12 days. The hospital pharmacy was closed so we sent the script to be filled at CVS. When I arrived (as mom was fixing to be discharged & we had an hour drive home) it was extremely busy. There was going to be a 3 hour wait, but Joseph understood our dilema with no hometown pharmacy open, could not come back to pick it up & he knew mom was ready to get home. I appreciate him so much, especially under all the pressure he was to get other prescriptions out with limited staff. THANK you Joseph (pharmacist) you don't know how much I appreciated your going out of your way to help us. read more

Worst service ever. They don't know about anything. My company was only with CVs pharmacy. I pay out of pocket just to go anywhere else.

I love cvs but ever since my favorite manager (Roy) left it's changed. Everyone is so nice in here though.

What can I say...CVS is the new mini Wal-Mart! And if you're looking elsewhere for better deals on makeup and cosmetics; forget about it! I come in here just to browse on my lunch break. Im giving it two stars only for the nice ladies at the checkout and their selection of items. Pricing is pretty insane, and if you actually need help at the pharmacy, forget it. I came in this morning to talk to the pharmacist about what type of allergy medication might work for the symptoms I am experiencing. He would not let me get a word out and was yelling info at me from across the room, even though I was at the consulation desk. He just kept yelling claritin or zyrtec and would not let me speak at all. Just kept saying if I cant take those to see an allergist. He was a younger african american male. Had he gotten close enough, i might have been able to see his name tag. Well, he was a jerk to me at 8am when I am dead sick to the point of having issues swollowing. He couldnt have cared less. He should be ashamed of his behavior. I made a complaint with corporate and I hope they take it seriously. I guess they dont teach manners in pharmacy school. read more

Pharmacy has been unprofessional on several occasions. Impatient with older people. No offense, but don't let employees with heavy accents talk with older people, most have hearing and/or comprehension problems. Also witnessed a privacy issue, comments by a male staff member to a customer in reference to his prescription for Viagra or Cialis. "you don't need these do you"? (and yes I was standing back, at least 5 feet away) I am taking my business elsewhere. read more

CVS now will not request refills for C2 medications. I take medicine to help with brain function, and can't remember to refill it on my own - and they just don't care. They openly acknowledge that this is not the policy of other pharmacies - just theirs. Unfortunately, CVS is also my company-mandated provider, so I have little choice. read more

I had a negative experience regarding their sales ad. Their ad said if I bought four Tide bottles, I would earn $5 in extra bucks. However, when I walked up to the register, the rep told me I could only buy 3 bottles because "people go crazy over Tide". I asked how would I earn the $5 extra bucks, and they couldn't give a response. They literally said each store can make up their own rules. Went to the CVS in Belton and they told me I could buy four bottles of Tide with no problem! Now, I always drive the extra 10 minutes just to avoid this CVS. read more

Guy on this phone this morning acted like he was inconvenienced by my call came to store, original pharmacy person I dealt with was helpful but when I needed to have dr call in a script, even though I had the dr on the phone, I had to ask him to call their line directly. He called and I sat here forever waiting on the script. I miss small pharmacies who care about their customers. read more

I can't give this place a very good review, mostly because of the staff. After waiting in the drive through to drop off two prescriptions, I was told by a "lovely" (read: incredibly rude) young man that since I had never darkened the door of that specific CVS I would have to make the trip inside. This might have been okay if 1) it wasn't lunch hour and I had under 20 minutes to eat and get back to work and 2) if it was CORRECT INFORMATION. When I was finally inside and seen by a tech named Greg, who was doing six things at once while three other techs stood around chatting about lunch, he said I was perfectly fine to go through the drive through. Like I thought. Overall, nearly half an hour spent trying to get a prescription filled. And of course one of them wasn't in stock, but what else is new? When I went to pick it up, though, Greg did recognize me and was very nice. I was glad I didn't see the young man again, because it will be a pleasure never to make his acquaintance again. read more
