Changed 1 star to 5 star just because of the kind pharmacy techs. So friendly and personable!

Thousands of options here in one gigantic marketplace, and something for everyone! The marketplace itself is quite dated. Yet it is eclectic and quirky. It is welcoming and irrefutably very memorable. There is a dedicated area to serve beer on tap with a list of about 12 options and then there is a restaurant with a limited menu. Mostly things like burgers, sandwiches, and other common pub fair. There are vegetarian options available. When your order is ready, they use an overhead mic that is resemblance of something that you would hear over the loudspeaker at an 80s rollerskating rink. On site, there are bathrooms and areas for seating that include bar tops, high tops, and even a couple of comfy couches. There is an outdoor patio that is very inviting during the warmer months of the year. Ultimately, this is an incredibly impressive presentation of beverages. Perhaps even something that some people would consider a museum of sorts. Either way, there is definitely choices for everyone, and this is an establishment that can't be missed. Yes, you can visit the other location on Powell, but nothing will ever match up to the original location here in Multnomah village. An experience, a chance to shop and stockpile some beer, but truly a showcase of excellence in beer culture in the heart of our city.

I came in intending to order a pizza using the app, and 7-Now Gold discount price. When I set up…read morethe order, I saw it was adding a $1 "bag fee", as well as the usual 50 cents " "convenience fee". But I'm not getting any kind of bagging, and I've never seen that $1 fee added at the probably dozens of branches where I've placed such an order. I mentioned this to the clerk, he said, "What can I do about it?" And then he turned and walked off to do something on another end of the store. I waited for a while, intending to order anyway, but he didn't come back, so after a while I just walked out. Headed now to another location that, as I checked and like all others in branches the area, is not charging that additional fee, and hopefully will treat me as if they actually want my business. First time ever visiting this branch, I will avoid it in future. [this was around 11:15pm Monday June 2, 2025].

During the late night many locations get the lingering people who are creepy for one reason or another. I have never been here during the day but I imagine it gets busy due to the location. The location is great since you can pop off the freeway, grab snacks and be on your way. I tend to drop in the middle of the night and I do appreciate that this location does not tend to have creepers hanging around its front. 7-11 accepts SNAP which is convenient and they also have a pretty tasty and stupid cheap pizza. This last drop in though I did figure out I will not grab a fountain drink again and just get a cup of ice and a bottle if I want a soda. I am picky and I am also not a fan of the modern fancy fountain machines because all the sodas coming from them taste 'off' and, sure enough... But first I tried to get Pepsi and when water is pouring out and I say something I hear from the cashier that they are out of Pepsi. Maybe put up a sign so folks don't waste their time. So I grabbed Dr Pepper which tasted 'off'. They do have some great grab and go things like cheese and salami or even Lunchables, fruit and some sandwiches and such. They are far from gourmet but, in a pinch when you want a snack that is beyond a Snickers bar.

I've never been forced to try and purchase an Oregon lotto ticket that was rang up incorrectly by the retailer, let alone told i refuse to ring up additional tickets and then had my money shoved back to me across the counter and refusing to make it right for their mess up, it's pretty standard protocol for the employee who rang up the ticket incorrectly to either display it for someone else to purchase or to purchase it themselves but it's not like it's a loss for the store it's a loss for Oregon lottery, I have plenty of friends who work in this industry or have in the recent past and I clarified through Oregon lottery today when making a complaint how the protocol works, as well as checked with friends to make sure I wasn't in the wrong before proceeding thru with a complaint over a VERY UNCOMFORTABLE situation. I've since reported this location and that employee to the Oregon lotto as well as plaid corporate and BBB to hopefully fix this issue. This employee should not be working here and I've seen him treat others customers similar to my interaction I'm actually surprised he still works here, I know people are desperate for employees but THIS AINT IT. All the other employees I've come across here are always nice and kind and not aggressive or just flat out rude. Clearly this guy hates his job and clearly should just quit instead of taking it out on cu. NO ONE IS FORCING YOU TO WORK THERE. JUST AN FYI BUDDY.

This is not a convenience store, this is the corporate headquarters…read more I rate it 3, A-OK, because the work for this company is fine on the store end. (Never worked in the office, nor have many others since that work is more difficult to get.) They say that the company promotes from within, but this is not accurate. Two of the district managers (They "manage" *spit* dozens of stores and have area managers under them that "manage" the store managers themselves.) The two district managers that run most of Oregon were both promoted into those positions from outside the company, which puts paid to that notion rather soundly. My area manager was quite excellent, but I had the misfortune of being under one of the aforementioned district managers (my boss's boss's boss), both of whom knew nothing about how the store works from the lowly end of cashiering or stocking. In other words, you will receive criticism over your performance from people that don't know anything about it. Helpful. They also like to give raises at a level that I call "entirely insulting". In other words, they will find ways to get away with giving you shit raises unless your area or store manager goes to bat for you. As for the work, it is pretty easy depending on the store. Very busy stores are a lot worse but then it is more important to consider the socio-economic spread of people that will be coming in. Your preference in this matter will vary but too many poor or rich people and you might find in yourself a strange compulsion for murder and violence. Restrain it. Do your work semi-competently and if you get offered a promotion, think twice: I got promoted and received much less in benefits than I was lead to believe. Also: DO NOT become a "second" assistant manager, you will probably not get the bonus that you are supposed to get each month if you pass store inspection, most likely all of it will go to the "first" assistant manager, even if he or she is not the one doing the paperwork at that time, which is total horseshit. This happened to me over most of my "being an assistant manager" time at Plaid Pantry. Lo, my cup, she overflows with bitterness and low income.

Completely inappropriate. Then again on 9/3 about 5:30 ish, my husband and I went to buy sodas. Of course this asshole is there AGAIN. He was completely fine with the other customers, but the minute he saw my face his entire demeanor changed. Once again slamming his scanner on the counter. Mumbling shit under his breath. My husband asked what he said & he claims I was there the previous day 9/2 causing a scene and yelling in the store. I was not there on 9/2. I was there 9/1. Can't even get his facts straight. Got into a bit of an altercation and cussed him out as i walked out of the store. Must have me confused with someone else. But you dont treat people like that. Like a previous review states, he clearly hates women. Maybe his mother neglected him or his wife cheated on him. Who knows. But this man needs to be fired IMMEDIATELY. I posted this on Facebook and there are many other claims from other women he has done this to. Get it together 711. Do better. Quite hiring fucking assholes.
