if i could give less then 1 star i would. this is the review i sent when they requested to share my experience the other day. i went to the one at grant & rosemont. horrible customer service, which i've received by this cashier before. :( i was there on 6/16/25 at around 11-11:30 or so. i didn't get his name but he was wearing an earring in one ear with loops attached. the earring doesn't bother me at all, his horrible customer service did. no smile, no acknowledgement (just as he has in the past). then he put my med bags on the counter to ring me up & realized one wasn't mine. not good :( he put it back & went searching for my other prescription. he wrung it up, took my payment & that was it. i had to be the one to say to him "is the pharmacist going to go over my new meds?" which, if i'm not mistaken, is his job. not the customers. i know cause the cashier always asks. he said ok & pointed where i was suppose to go. honestly? seriously? really? OMG. i know it isn't easy getting help these days, but with help like that, i'd rather ring myself up. i'm sure i'll see him every time i go, but someone needs to point out, to him, that his customer service is absolutely HORRIBLE!! maybe a re-train? if he absorbs it of course. :) so hopefully this answers your question about what type of service i received on my visit to the Grant Rd/Rosemont CVS. i pray it helps cause if not, i will start going to go to Walgreens from now on. i'd hate to do that since i've been going to CVS for a very long time now. i hope i get a response from someone. if not, i won't be happy with that either. have a good day. jessie :) read more

The worst!!! On Friday, April 19, 2024, at approximately 1pm an 88 year old women rode up to our office building door on her motorized scooter here in Tucson Arizona where the whether was at least 95 degrees at that hour. She spoke Russian and very, very little English. She first asked for help to call her Pharmacy, CVS down the street on Grant and Rosemont across the street from the Hospital because she believed they forgot to give her the prescribed insulin for her diabetes. We tried calling the pharmacy but it was pretty useless so I drove her down to the pharmacy, me, a perfect stranger who clearly had compassion and concern for this elderly woman. There was no way we could have sent her back on her scooter in that treacherous heat to her regular CVS Pharmacy. Once we arrived, there was no wheelchair or motorized scooter available for her to use. She could barely walk holding on to me and or the cart. We approached the pharmacy pick up window, I explained that we had just called and figured it would be easier to talk in person with her because she said she did not get her insulin prescription (NovaLog). They said it was not covered by her insurance. I asked how much it was, they said $300. I called her doctor's office on her behalf and spoke to the doctors assistant, she said they can give her the generic. While I was on the phone with the Doctors office, the pharmacy technicians said to me they are closing in 2 minutes for lunch. I hung up the phone and told them they said to give her the generic. They said they did not have a prescription for the generic insulin Aspart made by Humalog. I proceeded to ask if they could please call the doctor because they really are the ones that should be doing it anyway. She said no, they are going to lunch, helped a customer, and started closing the rollup shutters down on us. I told her please someone could stay and help this elder woman and they said "No, the Pharmacist has to eat." I said can't someone stay a few minutes to help, and she said "No!" I said, "I am writing a review about this treatment." She said, "that's fine but we get a lunch break." I said, "if anything happens to this woman it's on your hands," she said, No, it's on her doctors' hands!" and she closed the shutters. This makes me absolutely sick to my stomach that people like this work at a pharmacy, let alone directly across from one of the biggest hospitals in Tucson. No compassion or concern for an 88-year-old woman with diabetes out in 95+ degree weather. I am posting this on google, yelp, facebook, sending to the local news and I will also be sending this to Karen Lynch, President and CEO of CVS. Stand with me to #boycottCVS until they do better. They owe this woman an apology. The employees at this CVS need to apologize face to face to this woman or lose their jobs!! There were 5-6 people in that pharmacy not one person could wait 10 minutes for lunch. What did I end up doing? Well I took her to her Doctors office and got them to call in a prescription to TMC Pharmacy which is now her new pharmacy. read more

I've been coming to this CVS for some time and until today have been given 5 star service. Today the Pharmacy Tech was short, rude and would not help me but rather told me to go to the other register. All I asked was the status of another prescription which is something previously has always been answered with a SMILE. I was speechless and decided to give feedback to the next level up!! When I spoke to the Pharmacist I was told their hours were cut. So it seems due to cut hours the service levels have deteriorated. My dilemma is this location is most convenient for me. My solution will probably just be to use the drive through and never go in the store nor ask questions. As a side note, every time I went in the store, I always bought other items in addition to my prescriptions, e. G. Cards, lotions, over the counter items, etc. THE MONEY SAVED BY REDUCING HOURS AND SERVICE WILL SOON BE LOST DUE TO CUSTOMER DISSATISFACTION. read more

The CVS pharmacy at 5100 Grant, Tucson is the worst I've ever been to. They are understaffed and overworked. There was a long wait to pick up my prescriptions, and when I finally got to the assistant at the counter, she gave me incomplete information on one rx and totally wrong information on another. i had to go back that evening, stand in line again, because they don't answer the phone and the automated system is not useful, and again was given incorrect information. Also, I was not offered pharmacist consultation on these drugs, which were new to me. They were turning people away who had signed up for vaccines because of being understaffed. read more

Due to recent health issues, I have been coming to this CVS more often than I would like. However, the staff (particularly Julian and Jason) are exceptionally helpful. As busy as they are, they always greet you with a smile and are willing to answer your questions. I like the auto refill option and for those medications that don't require it, unenrolling is very easy. Thanks for helping make my health a priority, CVS team! read more

Great staff willing to go above and beyond. Visiting from out of town we foolishly left our medication at home. Went into cvs and with the pharmacy help was able to get enough for the few days we were there. Pharmacy tech made several calls and got acceptable response to fill medication. Got our medicine filled and ready in under 20 minutes. Store was very clean and had a great selection plus another OTC medication was on a great sale. read more

I have been coming here for years to fill my prescriptions. Everyone here is really nice and professional. I'm always greeted when I come into the store. Awhile back, I got a shingles shot at my physician's office and had a horrible injection site reaction. After 4 days, I went to the pharmacy and asked the Pharm D what he thought was going on. Without going into detail he explained the possibility and it was later confirmed by a 30 year R.N. who understands vaccines. His knowledge really put me at ease and saved me a trip to the Urgent Care. read more

The sick season is here. Everyone in my house has had a cold this year. I was sent to CVS to fetch cold medicine. Mission accomplished... On my way out of the store, the libation lover in me is drawn to the liquor section. Wow! Their liquor selection rivals some places that supposedly specialize in liquor.... AND their prices are super competitive. Went home with cold medicine and some martini fixins for me. read more

I love cvs and would normally score them a 5 Star but this last visit I picked up a prescription for antibiotics which I rarely have taken in my life time. I was not offered or given a consultation with the pharmacist. I asked the tech a question. She was obviously annoyed with me and turned and asked the pharmacist the question for me. They're sometimes understocked, but I just ask for a raincheck and because it's so convenient to my work, I'll stop in randomly through the week. probably one of the best pharmacies in town. the staff is friendly and welcoming, especially the pharmacy staff, THEY ARE SOMUCH BETTER THAN THE FRYS PHARMACY ACROSS THE STREET. they get your prescriptions filled as fast as possible within an hour and the line at the pharmacy is always under ten minutes. however, if you come here during a weekend night, be warned, tons of college kids are buying massive amounts of alcohol to get drunk on and the line takes forever, due to this!!!! read more
