Went in this store for the first time. HORRIBLE! I needed to make some photo prints. I asked a gentleman where the photo machine was located. He pointed and said to another employee who sitting at the Photo machine Kiosk, that I needed the machine. You would think I cut off her right arm! She was so rude. She glared at me and started throwing all of her items, not sure what she was doing, onto another counter. Then moved out of the way. I said thank you and she just glared at me. Worst CVS in the entire country!! Employees are rude, lazy and outright nasty to customers. HATE, HATE, HATE going into this place. I avoid it as often as possible, because I have had sooo many negative experiences in this store. This is over a 3 year time span. Im from Phoenix, but I had to pick up a prescription from this CVS while I'm here in Tucson. I looked at the reviews after giving this pharmacy to my Dr to send that script to, and they definitely worried me. Lots of negative reviews, but very few are recent. I'm writing this review because the experience I had with this CVS was great! My prescription was ready sooner than they originally said it would be, picking it up was fast, the employees are kind. This is the worst CVS in Tucson. They have dispensed the wrong prescriptions on three different times in the last 4 months. The pharmacist is very rude and inexperienced. I've been in the medical field for over thirty years. I've used CVS both in Florida and Arizona and have found them to be consistent. This store does not reflect the other locations. read more

Seriously the worst possible pharmacy ever. I wish I had been able to get names because the pharmacist would have been reported for the horrendous way she treated me. In all my years of retail I have never encountered such bad treatment of a customer. No empathy, no hint of kindness, no help at all. It has been 5 months and I am still horrified on what occurred. I came to pick up prescriptions for my husband who had just left the hospital after a very serious surgery. The hospital sent the prescriptions to the wrong pharmacy and they were closed. We were both exhausted and just went to our usual pharmacy and was told nothing could be done. My husband could not get his much needed prescriptions. I called My his doctor and they sent over scripts for the pills he had to have so I went back. I explained to the tech how the scripts should be there she saw them but, then the pharmacist came to the window and screamed at me that she could not help me and walked away. I was shocked. I will never ever go back. I won't ever spend one cent at CVS. read more

Anxiety drug out of stock, gave plenty of notice. Told to call around... Ridiculous, just adding to anxiety, this CVS is not worth the trip. After speaking with my new neighbors, I discovered they've switched to other pharmacies due to long waits at the pharmacy, long phone wait times and a general sense of lack of care and concern. read more

Walk-in to fill new RX for flu. Was told they were out of that particular anti-viral drug and would have to contact doctor to change to another manufactor to have filled, since no pharmacy in Tucson had it available, per short supply. I politely declined, called another store that had the anti-viral available, and had it filled at the other store within the hour. read more

Worthless phone system. Good luck getting a person to actually solve an issue you have. Automated phone system told me twice my prescription would be filled and was not. Finally, I showed up in person and was told I needed a new prescription. Luckily this was not a prescription needed to sustain life or I would be dead. read more

This is a mixed review because the actual store itself is fine - especially the cashier I had - she was super friendly and greeted everybody. The only negative to this location is that their makeup selection is less expansive than other locations. Unfortunately, their pharmacy needs help. We came in January asking for flu shots (which are advertised, even in front of their door) and the pharmacy technician stated, "The flu season is over." HAHA! That's a joke. So they didn't know if they had flu shots - then they called another location and verified that that location had them on hand. I asked what their hours were and the girl literally was counting on her fingers trying to figure out what to tell me (like what????). This could all be excused if they had the ability to fill a prescription correctly, but unfortunately that is out of their ability range as well. Too bad this is our closest location. read more

If you call the pharmacy, be prepared to hold for an indefinite amount of time and turn your phone volume way down. The "hold music" is the cheapest available--it's LOUD and it's AWFUL, and it repeats every 30-60 seconds, the same few bars over and over again. This review is for the minute clinic. I checked in online and it "held" my place in line while I drove to the location. I had to then check in on the computer and put in my number they gave me to show that I was waiting. I had to wait for maybe 30 minutes but I knew this in advance. The person that was the nurse practitioner was very friendly. I also liked that you can tell she cleaned the room and wiped it down with disinfected between each person. I knew this because I heard her say to another patient that she needed to clean before his appointment but also because I could smell that it was clean, which is reassuring. The whole process was fairly quick and easy and was able to pick up prescription right there. The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because the computer system that you check in on is touch screen and a little slow and laggy, other than that I had a good experience I will use if I need to in the future. read more

We moved my mother's prescriptions here after having numerous issues with a Walgreens location in Vail, the Fry's pharmacy in Rita Ranch, etc. While we still have problems with CVS, they haven't been major problems up until yesterday. Usually it's receiving automated calls only to drive in and find no prescriptions ready, or the wrong number of prescriptions ready. Or having a pharmacist or pharmacy tech argue about the prescriptions and why X or Y is "wrong". Yesterday they admitted to not knowing what a new paper prescription said, so just guessing. Both meds started with "L", both were in her history on their computers with the exact same dosing. Rather than use their brains and/or call the doctor's office for clarifications, they dispensed 1/6 of the dose of one medication, and just didn't fill the other one at all. After a 40 minute drive home, because we live in the boonies, I delivered them to her. She noticed the color of the pills were different on one RX (because the dose was 1/6 of what it should have been) AND that the other RX was was missing entirely. I called them. I pointed out that she has a brain injury and that 1/6 the dose would have (100%!) caused a huge problem. They argued about it for a while then said they would call the doctor's office.They called back and said they'd spoken with "his nurse" and "he said" they had it right. Their "solution" was to say he wrote 2 prescriptions for the same medication, but 2 different doses. Again, they admitted they had a record of 2 individual prescriptions and their (same) dosing in her records. So... what? Fun fact: It was Wednesday. A) He has no nurse in his office, just clerical staff. B) HE IS ONLY IN THE OFFICE TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS! They transferred me to the "lead pharmacist" who was very pleasant and understanding, who admitted they should have looked in her records and NOT dispensed something if they were not clear on what the drug + dose was, and said they would call and take care of it in the morning. I just spoke with the doctor's office and nobody has called (surprise). So the saga continues and more of my time will be spent dealing with their idiocy today. I'm not sure why they end up screwing up my mother's prescriptions wherever we go, but I'm running out of pharmacies in our area to try. It's very frustrating and I'm incredibly unhappy with this CVS + the lack of interest in actually taking responsibility for THEIR staff screwing things up. They get an extra star because I've gone to their Minute Clinic location several times and had good experiences. But the PHARMACY gets one star. read more

But not staffed with medical pros who can get you through the tough times. With kids going to the emergency room or urgent care is never fun. Came here last night for our scheduled Covid vaccines through the pharmacy. I scheduled these vaccines last Thursday for 7:30 and 8:00pm. We arrive at 7:20. We arrive and it's empty. We wait 15 minutes just to get help. They took our Covid vaccine cards and had us wait for about 20 minutes when talking loudly that they couldn't do it. After 20 minutes the pharmacist sends over a guy to tell us that they aren't opening another vial of vaccines because they come in 6 and they'll have to toss it if they open it. We explained to him that we scheduled it online and have email confirmation, the pharmacist comes over and says "those times aren't correct come as early as possible or we won't be able to do." She then says come tomorrow and ill make sure it gets done. Well now I took work off early and I'm here. I get called back for my vaccine and the worker entered all of information wrong. The nurse has me go up to the pharmacy once again to fix it and have them take my information. I explained to the girl working what happened and she goes explains it to the same pharmacist that was working last night they told us to come back in. She then loudly says "no one was here last night. Why didn't they get it last night?" But would not come over and talk to me. I have never been in a situation where getting a vaccine was this difficult. read more

I went to the Minute Clinic at this location yesterday and had a very pleasant experience! I was a walk in and when I checked in I was told it would be a 23 min wait which was fine since I hadn't scheduled my appointment, but not even 2 mins after checking in I was seen. I wish I remembered my dr's name, because she was awesome. She was so kind and friendly, honestly one of my best experiences with a doctor. She made sure to check all of my medications after I informed her of my medical history and didn't rush me at all. We even had a really nice conversation about work clothes and she gave me some great advice on where to find comfy pants! My own doctor usually rushes me in and out of my appointments after making me wait 45 mins so this was a really nice change of pace. Once my appointment was done, my prescription was ready in 5 mins. They took my insurance (BCBS Arizona) and I had zero problems with my prescription or getting seen. Great service! read more

Pharmacy is the worst. Told me several times that my insurance doesn't allow me to use generic prescriptions and that my copay would be $800 for name brand. So I have been going to Costco and getting 90 days for $250. Well decided I would take my script to Safeway while there and was told it was only $60 copay for 90 days. Couldn't believe it so called my iinsurance company and it is correct. So for 6 months I've uber overpaid due to cvs misinformation. On top of all that the pharmacy staff is rude. I do have to add that the store staff is helpful and courteous. They usually have what I'm looking for. read more

Stuck going here because that is where my work has their pharmacy agreement. The down side is this is the closest one from the Rita Ranch area. They do a good job, but there are times when their automated system does not work well. The employees are very friendly, they always welcome you when you come in the door. read more

I have gone to this pharmacy several times. It is usually okay, but today it was not. I called to see if my prescription was ready and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. I went in about 45 minutes later and was told my prescription was not ready. This has happened to me before. The pharmacy was packed today and I wish they would be honest when you call and tell the clients that they are very busy and to call back before you come in. The pharmacist is always friendly and professional, but the counter people were rude. read more

The store itself: clean, and cashier service meets expectations. The pharmacy: needs some serious improvement in their customer service. If you're talking with a pharmacist and a drive thru customer comes after you've started, you will be told to wait since the drive thru always takes priority. When they come back to you, you're at risk for further interruptions because of the drive-thru. My former employer had an agreement with CVS so I was stuck with them until I found a better job, after which I have since found a better pharmacy. read more

This is a review about the store (I am also not impressed with their pharmacy. They have no clue what they are doing and too busy) I returned some items to a local CVS store. While the employee was going over what I had returned she asked me if these items had been used or not. To my absolute HORROR, she proceeded to re package the items stating that she was going to put them back on the shelf. I had clearly opened the items and she took my word for it that they had not been used. These items included baby products. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT CVS AGAIN. read more
