She speaks to them in a disrespectful and demeaning manner, as if they are beneath her rather than valued members of her team. What stands out most is that whenever assistance is needed, instead of stepping in and helping directly, she calls for other employees to handle the situation--even when she is standing right there and clearly capable of helping herself. This creates unnecessary delays and makes the store feel disorganized and inefficient. I have personally witnessed her scold employees for no apparent reason other than tasks not being completed exactly to her liking. The tension in the store is palpable, and it is obvious that employees are working under a great deal of stress. I have visited this location many times over the years, hoping things would improve, but the atmosphere is consistently negative whenever this manager is present. Ironically, the store runs much more smoothly and feels significantly more welcoming on the days she is not there. At this point, I will not be returning. No customer should have to shop in an environment where employees are treated with such little respect. Walgreens should take a serious look at the leadership at this location and make changes before more customers decide to take their business elsewhere.

For things like restaurants and retail businesses, my Spanish is strong enough, but this is a situation where I needed to be able to communicate with someone in my native language. Most businesses in Miami have someone who is bilingual because Miami is filled with people who speak either English or Spanish, but this one did not- at least on the day I called. I don't really like leaving negative reviews, but maybe by them seeing this, they will consider hiring somebody who can communicate in both languages because I feel like they're cutting off the possibility of doing business with a significant portion of the community.
