I'm now at this CVS often and overdue for an update. Great staff and pharmacist keeps me coming back. Recently I had a few vaccines including the flu. Easy with a single form to sign and most insurances accepted. The female pharmacist could not have been nicer. For your trouble Target gives a $10 gift when spending $20. Something also many may not realize is in most cases they have communication with your primary care if you get prescriptions from them. So they knew what I needed an can update my primary regarding my recent vaccinations. Recommend CVS at Target in Town Center. read more

Thank goodness they had Zyrtec. Every road trip I forget something. They had this and I am grateful. Also they had a good deal on Gatorades, so my son and wallet are happy. This store is convenient. Plenty of parking. The employees are friendly. Items are well stocked. The self checkout has expedited times here. It's a decent place. Is CVS exciting? No but it is practical, and was glad to keep the allergies in check. read more

I've always had a very positive experience at this pharmacy location inside Target at Pembroke. The pharmacist is so nice and helpful, as are the staff I've encountered as well. I appreciate times they have been able to provide particular medications manufactured in the U.S. when other pharmacies in the area could not do so. read more

I used this store for several years. However, I have to leave this store because of my experience today. First of all, they have no enough basic medication. I was injured twice last week at work. The doctor ordered two medicines on 4/16/24, they only could provide me one. I must go to Walmart Pharmacy where I could get it on the counter. Today, I went to the store again to get another doctor ordered medicine. This time, they still can only provide me with one type of medicine. I tried to pay the fee with my employer provided pharmercy card, but they do not know how to get the fee from the card. Two ladies who worked a long time and could not figure out how to add this card information into CVS systems. I am very disappointed based on their ability. So, I told them, I would cancel all my information in this store. read more

I went in this morning to buy insulin syringes for my dog and was informed that the girl working there would not sell them to me OUT OF PERSONAL CHOICE. She claimed that unless I buy my dog's insulin at their pharmacy she will not sell me the syringes. She also openly informed me that that was "just HER way of doing things". I buy the insulin at Walmart for multiple reasons: for one, it is only $25 compared to CVS costing over $100 for the same vial. Second, I don't need a prescription for the insulin, they sell it over the counter. I also buy the syringes there (no prescription needed by the way), but they had run out. My question is: Since WHEN can a person who works for a corporation (or anywhere else for that matter) randomly decide they won't sell something to a customer because they don't feel like it???!!! I've never been so shocked and angry. My dog needs her insulin twice a day and can go into keto acidosis without it. There was no excuse for this woman to randomly decide that she wasn't going to sell something THAT NEEDS NO PRESCRIPTION just because I don't buy the insulin from them. It's as ridiculous as saying I can't buy milk from Target because I bought my steaks elsewhere. This woman is a disgrace and cared not at all that she put my dog in danger. She chose the wrong profession if she gets a kick out of holding medical equipment hostage. read more

This is my pharmacy and my family and I all use this pharmacy. The doctor can send their prescription over and filled ready for you to pick up. You also get a reminder and text when prescription is ready. Also, they offer flu shots for free. The pharmacist is very personable and helpful for our questions and concerns and can help you find best alternatives when name brand medication becomes too expensive. Wish they would open all day long!! read more

I just relocated to Virginia Beach from living in downtown Washington for 40+ years. I am accustomed to 24-hour drugstores & pharmacies so to find this tire CLOSED at 6pm in Sunday night is new to me. In fact, there are NO 24-HOUR PHARMACIES in the area. (DROPPED ONE STAR FOR SHORT HOURS particularly SUNDAY otherwise it's 5 STARS). I cannot tell you joe many time's I ran to the all-night drug store to pick up Tylenol or ibuprofen and test strips for diabetes. You never know when you'll need something until it's too late. So I need to PLAN AHEQD WND STOCK UP to live here worry free of my nighttime drugstore necessities. THE PHARMACIST I MET Is a very nice lady who was efficient and saw me waiting in line behind a very slow customer at the cashier. She came out from behind the pharmacy counter and opened a register for me so I could get out of the store before the next day (just kidding but the other customer WAS SLOW!). I have purchased items from Target during my visit to the pharmacy so the integration does work. I've never been in a Target before (or Wegmans, or other stores here) so it's all new to me. We don't have any of this in downtown Washington DC but we do have a lot of other things including prices that are 2 times the prices down here. Convenience is expensive but so well worth it. Thanks to the pharmacist (I do not remember her name) for being so efficient. I have RX's for Emmy items that get refilled regularly in Washington so I have to love my prescriptions to this store soon. THERE IS A WALGREEN'S nearby also and they're open until 10. But my first experience at THAT PHARMACY was awful - slow slow slow. The cashier upfront told me that they were "floaters" and the regular pharmacists were on vacation. It's not a big pharmacy but I'll try them again and see if there's any difference next time. Otherwise I'll stick with the Target/CVS. This way I can get household items at a good discount while picking up my medications. All in all I WOULD RECOMMEND this CVS. If anything changes you'll all be the first to know about it. THE BEST PHARMACY ON EARTH is the Rite-Aid, now WALGREENS. at 3301 New Mexico Avenue NW in Washington DC.
