The front part of the store is alway organized and stocked (if something is missing and on sale ask for a rain check, they are happy to accommodate). Dennis, the manager is great! He's has also hired some amazing people, who are always ready to help, if you can't find what something. I will mention the pharmacy can be slightly frustrating at times, as that they are ALWAYS busy, but they do get the job done! Pharmacy personal is not helpful. They try to postpone filling the prescription as long as they want. The medication was approved by insurance already, but they didn't fill the prescription even after the call from doctor office. read more

This pharmacy has been the most helpful, especially in the recent weeks and months with supply chain issues and shortages. I came in about a week ago to pick up a prescription that my doctor had digitally sent in for me. This isn't my first trip to this particular CVS but this was probably one of my better pharmacy experiences me at one that I've ever had! When I arrived at the pharmacy, the woman greeted me and asked if I watched the bachelor (I do not). She was asking because she told me that I looked like one of the women on the show. This really made my day since I felt like crap and was fighting off a stomach bug. She told me my prescription wasn't quite ready yet, but she could expedite it for me. I barely had a chance to sit down when she told me that my prescription was already ready for me. Not only was this the speediest expedite of a refill had I ever experienced, she also gave me extra instructions on how to take this and have it take affect faster to relieve my nausea. This is now my go to CVS. It's also located between a Dunkin' Donuts and a Petco so not a bad place to kill time while waiting for a prescription to get filled. read more

My doctor placed an order for me at the CVS and two days later it still showed that it was in the process of being ready. Today I tried calling to see why it was still in process, and how long it would take to be filled. I didn't mind, this wasn't something I needed asap, but I was just wondering when so I could keep an eye out. I called and stayed on hold for an hour and 13 minutes until someone finally said "hello please hold there are three people ahead of you." As if I hadn't been holding already for forever. When they answered for me two minutes later, I asked when the prescription would be ready, and they said they could do it right then and there. I appreciated that, but then they told me they closed in 45 minutes so I'd have to hurry to get there. I told them I only lived 5 minutes away and asked if I should just wait until I got a text saying it was ready. They told me to just come in and wait for it. I just have three questions here. 1. How were they able to fill it so quickly, after it had been in progress for a couple of days, all of a sudden since I called? 2. Why did it take them an hour and 13 minutes just to ask me to stay on hold? 3. Why did I have to go in to wait?? read more

CVS Pharmacy - On hold for over an hour - Drugstores Near Me - WALTHAM, Massachusetts

This pharmacy doesn't even deserve one star. For years I used the cvs on Trapelo in Belmont; never ever had a problem. Ever since I switched to the Linden Street Store a year ago, I've had one problem after another. From staff that is simply clueless or lazy, to the rediculous automated voice where it takes 5 minutes to get your information. For scripts requiring prior authrizatios, to controlled medications, etc., one hand doesn't know what the otter is doing. it took 5 phone calls /follow ups to get someone on their end to fax the form to my physician's office. Now it's the weekend (we lost 4 days since the Med was ordered) and they don't do scripts on weekends. The service is - oh actually it can't even be called "service" - run don't walk to another pharmacy! read more

Despite what they say, not all CVS are the same. I feel that this CVS is lacking a lot of things. Maybe because it's smaller... I just don't feel like I can find as many things here as I would any other CVS (or any drug store for that matter). I actually feel very claustrophobic here. And what's with the no line organization here? The only time I come here is out of sheer convenience because it is on my way to and from work. And yes, they have a huge parking lot, but again a small store. read more

Like every CVS, extremely over priced. The young lady at the front greeted me kindly, helped me find a few items I was searching for and, upon check out, did so with a smile. Store was not well stocked in a few areas, a few asiles were blocked with boxes. The pharmacist was helpful. Good location, ample parking. read more

When I have to get a prescription, I always come to this CVS. CVS and I have a love / hate relationship, but this one really tries hard to make it okay. Here's how: Large, easy to maneuver parking lot. I'm usually the only person in the store, other than employees and ghosts. Makeup aisle leading directly to prescription counter. I dreaded going into a CVS looking for a sale item on the last day of sale but I really needed paper towels and I am glad I went to the Waltham one across from court house . Couldn't find sale item , went up front and they had a substitute of a larger size I didn't want. Asked an employee Mike if they had select a size, he not only brought me back to show what was available but made another substitute for me and I left the store thrilled to have had such awesome customer service and get my paper towels as well. By the way when I got back up front line was long so guess who stepped up and rang another register (yup) good ole Mike . While I haven't always had great experiences at the pharmacy I did recently have a wonderful experience in the photo department. I've ordered pictures through their website over the years but they recently revamped their options in terms of editing and uploading. You can directly take pictures from your phone, Facebook or Instagram, edit them and have prints for cheap money! I ordered 50 4x6 pictures of my newborn for only $10. They have same day pick up but when I arrived they weren't ready - they had an issue with their machine. Instead of telling me to come back Mary at the register called the manager, Dennis who was able to put in more paper and help me with my order. There were more technical difficulties so I did have to wait a bit but he gave me a discount for my time which was REALLY appreciated. Truly great customer service! read more

I like that they're 24 hours, and close to my house. I don't like that they constantly screw up my prescription orders. It's luck of the draw as to whether you get your refills. I'm also not a big fan of the lack of line organization. Would it kill them to put in a serpentine? read more

The pharmacist here is WICKED nice. However, there is one lady that is a complete b*tch and beyond rude. It makes me want to change my prescription to another store whenever I have to deal with her. I haven't seen her in 2 months so I'm hoping she is gone. It's kind of pathetic how much I would want to change where I pick up my meds from just because of this ONE lady that is by far one of the rudest and unpleasant person I have ever met. It's a CVS how much can you really expect? It is the only pharmacy in the area with one of my medications in stock so I am forced to frequent this location. Honestly, I will never come back here again...it is not worth the aggravation. I went in yesterday and the pharm tech Gal was incredibly rude. This woman DOES NOT BELONG WORKING WITH PEOPLE. End of discussion. She was hostile when I didn't have time to talk to the pharmacist--which I am well within my rights to refuse and then she judged me for what I came in to buy along with my medications. This woman does not belong in a human service field and she should no longer have a job. There is nothing good that can come of someone who is so judgmental, miserable and rude being the "face" of CVS in this location. Don't come here. Get everything else somewhere else. There is no need to give this pharmacy business since they couldn't give a flying leap about you. read more

The pharmacy here is going downhill. There is a fairly new woman who is always there in the afternoons, and she has the most difficult time understanding English. I have to spell my name 3 times and slowly for her every time. It is difficult to pick up any prescriptions. read more

Absolutely horrible customer service at the pharmacy. They never fill scripts when they say they will. Always backed up. Never enough people behind the counter. I can't even count the number of times I've had a problem with them and have had to wait outside in my car for a medication that they had said was filled hours prior. I usually never write reviews, but I had to say something about this particular establishment. I've always used CVS pharmacy for my prescriptions and recently moved, so had to switch CVS stores. The pharmacist here is SO rude. It literally pains her to be polite and she rolls her eyes and hurries all customers along. This has been my second time coming to the pharmacy and the first time I thought maybe she was having a bad day. Apparently not. The first time she never even acknowledged me standing in front of the counter for the first 5 minutes, then acted like it was such a hassle to talk to me. She was even worse the second time around. She walked up to the counter and without looking at me, just asked questions. I had no idea who she was talking to, so I didn't respond. Apparently, this exasperated her and she got even more rude. By the way, the lady I am talking about seems to be the main pharmacist. She closes the pharmacy during most week days and works on Saturdays. Do NOT go here. She will ruin your day! read more
