It opens during the hours posted. Occasionally, it doesn't, but that's life. People have emergency and get sick including pharmaceutical and medical staffs. Staffs are efficient. Pick up can take a while of waiting due to having one person at the front counter some days. It would take a long time just to pick up one prescription. read more

This location is overrated because most of the reviews have nothing to do with the pharmacy itself. Constantly changing their hours makes it impossible to pick up prescriptions. Currently they shifted to 9-7 which is the most inconvenient time possible for people who work day jobs. read more

I went to CVS for a shingles shot and immediately ran into an issue -- I did not have a prescription card, and didn't know I even needed one! Donna decided to go ahead and put me in the computer while we were waiting for my wife to text a photo of the card to me... The computer recognized me as a CVS prescription card holder and told her everything she needed to know! She was in a great mood and happy and helpful the whole time. You just don't find people like that! After what seemed like a few short minutes, Donna asked the pharmacy crew if they got to my shot yet. She said, "It's been 20 minutes." I didn't even say anything to Donna! She just did that on her own! People like Donna are amazingly rare in our world, and are worth more than their weight in gold! read more

I love this pharmacy. They are very professional and prompt! If there's an issue with a refill they will call your treating doctor the date of or the next day to get your medication refilled. The entire staff is very professional. Thanks for the great service you're rendered. read more

If you are sick or you have kids that are sick make sure you get your prescriptions somewhere else. These people don't give a sh*t about you. My son is sick and needs his meds. I keep calling no one answers. When they did they said they're working on it, I called back again in the time they told me no answer. Then they said oh it's not ready a day later. Like what the flying f**k??? I'm so tired of these shit locations and businesses that ruin it for the rest of the company. A bunch of lazy inconsiderate idiots! read more

Last night - I drove WAAAY out of the way to visit this pharmacy as I choose not to support Walgreens with my $$. My kid and I were released from an after hours clinic at a time that was after my local CVS store hours. It meant I had to drive out of the way to find a CVS that was open late. This location on MacAurthur is open until eight p.m. which is why the nurse told me she chose it to fill my prescription. We left the on-call office after seven p.m. - and started for the CVS MacArthur and arrived around 7:35. When I pulled into the drive-through - a nice young man, named Brandon, opened the drive through window with a contagious smile. Trust me - after dealing with a sick kid and the doctors office - I needed that smile. Unfortunately, he couldn't find my prescription in his system, and we soon came to realize that the doctors office not only didn't send it through but they were close and wouldn't answer our calls. (shame on you Kids First Medical) Brandon told me to wait in the parking lot in hopes that the prescription just 'hadn't come over yet'. I waited almost a half hour to pull back through to check on my child's medicine. When I did, this time, Brandon gave me another smile - an apologetic one this time as - my RX STILL hadn't been sent in. He apologized profusely even though it wasn't his fault. At that point, he wrote my insurance info down on some scrap paper for me to have on hand, as I would have to find a 24-hour pharmacy - which meant I'd be using a Walgreens and they didn't have my current insurance nor did I have my insurance card on me. At eight p.m., the last thing I needed to do was go home to dig through my files to find a card. He also suggested I call my primary on call doctor (the one who suggested 1st Kids Medical) and see if they could get a new prescription for a Walgreens 24 hour pharmacy. Brandon even went the extra mile to call my cell a few minutes later to make sure I could read his handwriting. Although my night was a complete CLUSTER - Brandon at CVS did everything he could to make sure I was taken care of. He went the extra mile to bless us with kindness. Average service, Clean, Stocked items. I came in to buy a charger and the woman behind the desk was very helpful in helping me find one that would fit my phone. When I went outside to plug in my dying phone and found it didn't work, she took it back and let me exchange it with no problems. read more

This is your basic, run-of-the-mill CVS. It's right across the street from a Walgreens (aren't they always?), but I've been going to CVS over Walgreens because of their recent stance on selling tobacco products. I'll run in here for quick things I don't want to go to a grocery store for, but rarely do big shopping at CVS. They have good customer service, even at the pharmacy when they are really busy. read more
