The courteous gentleman on the phone made sure that the medication was dropped off at my door the same day! I'm a long time Babylon resident and used this pharmacy for years and never had any issues. In fact, just like this time, they always go above and beyond what would be considered good service. I will continue going here and recommending it to anyone who values exceptional customer service and that human factor lost in most chain store pharmacies. Thank you Village Pharmacy!

First they don't notify you when your script is ready. Seeing as my daughter takes the same medication every month. I had asked the men pharmacist if he could text me like the other pharmacy and he told me we can't do that. Which I thought it was weird because the other pharmacy did. Whatever I let it go. Not to mention the man pharmacist didn't fill the script right and only gave me 1 dose of medication when my daughter takes 2 doses . Thankfully I checked the bag before I left. Today I notice my daughter has 2 days left of her medication so I calles to refill it. The girl tells me they have the script but it is too soon to pickup. I called on Wednesday and she is saying I have to wait til Saturday. She puts the woman pharmacist on who basically says the same thing. I said fine I will be there Saturday. She says no I have to call Saturday to make sure they have it. That's when I lost it. You have my daughter script already You know I come every month to get this but you are telling me knowing this you may not have it. She goes on to say she can't reserve her medication. How are you reserving medication that you know your customer gets every month. You would think these medications are ordered regularly based on supply and demand. The pharmacist knowing I only have 2 pills left. Is telling me come Saturday to call them again and they may not have her medication. As if I can wait 3 days for them to get her medication in. This is not good customer service and working in the medical field you expect better. I understand it may to soon for the insurance to approve but I have picked up her pills before a day or so earlier with no problems. They didn't even attempt to see if the insurance would approve it.

Nathan, the pharmacist is aware of everything and always acknowledges customers. I was floored that he knew my name! There is never a wait and I get a text when my prescription is ready. The entire staff is professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The delivery man even helped me out when my car got stuck on ice. And they deliver! No more CVS with long lines and crazy ringing phones

Also the prices here compete with the those of the same items in CVS, Walgreens or even Costco. Today pharmacist/co-owner Nathan answered the questions that I posed of a medical device that I use and of a few nutritional supplements that I contemplated buying from him. He was a pleasure to talk to. The store associate was helpful, too, asking me if there was anything she could help me with. What I especially like about this pharmacy is that it is open on Sundays although only for four hours. Costco Pharmacy, where I usually get my medications filled, is not open that day. The only negative about New Island Pharmacy is that it is quite small, and parking is tight.

The coffee was excellent, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service made it feel like more than just a place to grab a cup and go. What stood out to me most was the sense that this business is built around serving people and the community. As a Christian, I always appreciate coming across businesses where faith seems to be reflected not only in words, but in the way people are treated. It reminded me of Colossians 3:23: "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord." Great coffee, great people, and a business I'm happy to support. Luckily I was early so I made a u-turn and stopped to try the coffee here. In fall spirit I had to try the pumpkin-spice dirty chai. I was asked if regular milk was okay and was so thankful because I almost forgot that I was lactose intolerant. They have several milk substitutions including macadamia, oat, almond and soy. After paying I was asked if I wanted a single or double shot. Usually coffee shops charge by the shot so I went with the double. Honestly, im not a true pumpkin spice fanatic so I liked that the pumpkin spice flavor wasn't overpowering. It was the perfect mix of pumpkin and chai flavors for me. I started chatting with the barista/pharmacist and he let me know that they will be switching out the specials soon. I will definitely be back to try the next seasonal flavors.
