People only really come in there to get their medication. They're not really there Shop for anything else everything is bought on Amazon these days The lines are ridiculous at the pharmacy that should not be the case. People just want to get their medication and go home the wait is ridiculous. I used OnPoint in Manhasset until they closed and now switched to OnPoint delivery from Roslyn…read more Even while in Manhasset there were occasions when OnPoint had difficulty getting one of my medicines into stock (and it isn't an uncommon med!) Now not is OnPoint Roslyn having difficulty getting a different med in stock, they keep saying they will deliver on a specific day and do not follow through, and then I am the one who has to make a phone call to follow up. I just called to cancel my order, explained patiently all the problems I have had, and not a mutter of an apology. DONE with OnPoint. (Also: note that all but one of the good reviews on Yelp are prior to when OnPoint took over in September of 2022.) Don't mess with people's health.

I always find it interesting how CVS and Walgreens are always on the opposite corners in every…read moretown. They both seem to do well and always carry a large stock (and variety) of the [shower, shave, aspirin, prescription medication, etc...] items I'm looking for. They even have a drive through for their pharmacy for those days I do not feel like getting out of the car. But beware, if you use the drive through be prepared to wait a bit if there are cars in front of you. Dispensing prescription medicine is a timely transaction. I like CVS for their young, energetic team that has always been extremely helpful with those hard to find items. I also like the idea of their food aisles with the basics.... This was extremely helpful during hurricane Sandy. Give them a try if you're not already a customer. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with the quantity and variety of items you can find in this store.

I think it is a disgrace that you cannot fill all of your prescriptions at one CVS. If you are a faithful CVS customer than you should have all of your needs met at your local CVS. Not have to run around city to city to fulfill all of your prescription needs. When I asked the store Pharmacy Manager I was given the run around and told to go to another CVS in another city. Yet that CVS Manager told me that I must fill all of my prescriptions in my neighborhood CVS. What am I supposed to do. One refuses and so does the other. Now what. No help from Corporate.
