That's partly because of all the unmanned self-checkout kiosks in the front, somewhat crowded with a lot of other displays, service counters, and devices, many of which had "out of order" signs on them. The dark colored carpet and the dim lights add to the dreariness.

Rand to the side with ice and went back to a different location for self checkout. Saw an open register and set the ice down. A tall young white man was watching over the self checkout and SCREAMS at the top of his lungs at me "didn't you read the register??" It's says it's closed. I move my 5 pound bag of ice out of the way and notice the screen. I say oh I see, and move my bag and go to get in line. He proceeds to berate me in front of the line of customers talking about me as if I'm not there. He says to them "people just don't like to read etc." while he FORCES me to skip the line to checkout AFTER I already said oh I see the sign and move to the line. I get it. You make 17.00 an hour and someone gave you a superiority complex because you saw a crowd. Walmart should keep more supervisors around so their employees don't cross the line, they clearly need to be managed. This was absolutely a crappy experience after spending so much money in less than hour.

The store is a bit dated but they have a large, well-organized inventory arrangement that makes the most of the space. Aisles are just a bit narrow because of it, and definitely hard to have two people pass each other in an aisle without brushing coats when everyone is bundled up in the winter.

I also asked for the regional manager's number and was just given his name and no number. I was told I would waste my time calling him. I'm posting this review instead.
