The last time I had to ask for her help it was because a sale item wasn't in the store the two times I looked that week, so I asked for a rain check, which is in line with their store policy. This is after two other people at the customer service desk couldn't find the rain check slips and the second didn't know what to write. Finally when Leslie showed up from the overhead page, she literally huffs at me and then makes another clerk go back there to verify there is none of the rib eye there and the exact label information, despite me having it right here on my phone in the Hannaford app. 15 minutes since asking for a raincheck for the out of stock item later, she tosses it on the counter and walks away. This wasn't just a bad day for Leslie, I had the misfortune of interacting with her a few months prior and her behavior was similar. Leslie is the rudest customer service manager that I have ever come across. I hope that corporate sees this, and takes my more detailed complaint that I sent via email to heart; this store requires new management training and incorporates other changes to benefit the customer.

The layout is a little odd here though, not what I'm used to in other grocery stores I guess. Ample parking though and kept fairly clean. We just stopped in for snacks & some travel-sizes items before setting out on a road trip to Florida, but there was a decent selection of snacks & a limited selection of variety in the travel sized section. Their new loyalty program is a nice perk though and makes them more competitive with Price Chopper now.

But this idiot says she cannot find the house. Had an order delivered from Aldi last week. Guy found me just fine, left it here without ever contacting me. I contacted Instacart & Aldi. I felt like my family was being bullied by the management because we brought my wife's service dog…read moreinto the store. I've never gone into a store with my family and the service dog and been told that the dog could not be in the cart because it was a health code violation. the dog was sitting on a reusable shopping bag with a sweatshirt over it and was not directly on the surface of the cart. we had a manager and the store manager harassing us and I felt their behavior was uncalled for because the dog wasn't directly touching the cart and was behaving. apparently its more acceptable to have a child with a dirty diaper touching their carts than a service dog that is cared for. ( remember we had something down in the cart so that the dog wasn't not even touching the cart and they still harassed us over the issue). we have a small chihuahua mix as a service dog. they didn't like it that I stood up for our rights and I didn't back down. I asked for the number to call the corporate office to talk to the district manager. I guess they're just jealous because they can't bring their dog to the workplace with them.

Now this was more of an experience I was hoping for. For many of my American friends, they tend to rate this specific store "standard fare" well it may be standard for them but for me the selection and pricing was fab! Lots of things to find, if you have the mind to search for it all. Shelves were often bare which made you think if they actively worked to make sure they replenished stock quickly enough. Spending time here allowed us to find quite a few neat things, for sure! There was a staffer working with a leg cast, to which I had to shake my head at. Good ol' American health care system. No express lane, which is dumb given it's 2019 and sometimes folks just need 1-2 things and should have to wait behind folks with full carts.

What a beautiful store! This is the nicest dollar tree I have been inside…read more Aside from the Latham Dollar Tree, this is one of the largest dollar trees as well. They have everything from cleaning supplies, organization containers, frozen foods section, helium balloons, cosmetics, bathroom supplies, arts and crafts and seasonal items. I will say the arts and crafts is a bit smaller of a selection than the surrounding stores, but the presentation and service was great. All employees were friendly and available.

As I learned by bringing my mom here, this can be a slightly awkward store to enter if you have mobility issues. Part of that, the entrance, is something they inherited when re-using this building (formerly a Rite-Aid). The entrance has an alcove with automatic doors on 3 sides. But the ramps for folks with mobility issues are on the right and left sides of the curb, and the spaces closest to the center entrance are right in front of the door. Unfortunately, the side doors were not working, signs up to indicate use the front door. But there was also a delivery guy trying to get in with items on a large dolly, and that dolly did not conveniently navigate the extremely narrow walkway space between the front spaces and the building. art of it is also the store's choice. The shopping carts have the high poles on them making it impossible to roll the cart out of the store. I get the need for this to prevent theft, but it also makes it more difficult with folks with mobility issues to get larger amounts of purchased items out to their car without assistance. The inventory was okay, though not quite what I was expecting or hoping. It was a case of not a lot of selection for an extremely wide variety of items. This included refrigerated/frozen items, and cleaning and storage supplies. The good deals were still there if you looked for them, though many items have again had their prices raised from $1.25 to $1.50. Would I come back? Absolutely. I'd just be aware of what may or may not be in stock, and possible price changes.

Not sure if all Dollar-type stores are created equal due to my lack of experience. But I was dragged to this particular Dollar General and, quite honestly, I'll begrudgingly admit...it's rather nice (as dollar stores go!!). It's very clean and organized with a ton of stuff packed in there. If you're looking for healthy snacks, dollar stores are not the place to find such things. If you're looking for junk food, funky sodas, candy and sugar-based cereal...go crazy with your bad self. But there's a bunch of stuff. Towels. Paper goods. Toothpaste. Measuring cups. Cat food. Soap. Crappy toys. I could go on, but you know....lots of stuff. The young girls that work here are very nice and helpful. So, as much as I don't want to like Dollar General, it's not bad I guess.
