This deserves a one star-if could I would give zero star. I went inside the store with a friend to buy a travel size pack of Q-tips. After picking up the item I went to the snack aisle. While looking at the snack she asked me if I was going to buy for that I told her yes. After that we went to one more aisle and she was still staring at me and the Q-tip while being in the same aisle which made me feel more uncomfortable. After that we just decided to go head to the cashier check out. she followed us on the way to the check out while I was purchasing my Q-tips. She has the nerve to stare at me while I am paying for my item. After she saw me pay she proceeded to stand by the exit and give me a weird stare while I was leaving the store. To be clear she was not a security guard when I entered the store I saw her working at the cash register. I don't know why I was followed when shopping at this CVS pharmacy. As a Hispanic male I started to question myself if I was being treated like this because of my race or ethnicity. Because I didn't see her treat other customers like this. Anyways there is no reason to treat shoppers like this and make them feel like a thief while shopping. If you could stay away from this CVS pharmacy. read more

I am surprised this store has been open as long as it has. It is so mismanaged, it's absolutely ridiculous! You cannot get any help on the floor, the two checkers at the front of the store say that can't help because they have to stay at the register. Shelves are empty in the makeup section because of theft. Medicines are locked up and you cannot get help getting someone to unlock the cabinets. Here's a thpught - Enclose all the makeup and STOCK UP so we can see it, and have someone on the floor to help, regardless of department. Epic fail, just close this location. I went to this location for a passport photo and the service was excellent. I tried a nearby location on Victory/Tampa first and they acted like they didn't want to take a passport photo and then, magically, the camera "won't turn on." I had no issue at the Corbin/Vanowen location and they were busier. I definitely preferred the customer service at this location. I got my photos quickly, including a digital copy. read more

Focusing on CVS's best feature, the pharmacy, I like this one. There seems to be plenty of staff at the pharmacy, maybe 5 or 6 of them, who all seem hard working, efficient, friendly, polite and helpful, at least 95% of the time. I go there about once a week and have had only 1 memorable complaint in the past 5 years, which really ought to put them up around 99.5% good to excellent. This is the BEST of all the dozen or more CVSs within a few minutes drive of my home, and my choice of perhaps 100 pharmacies within half an hours of my home, which is why I give them 4 stars. I would give the rest 3 stars or less. I only go to CVS for their pharmacy, their vaccination clinics, maybe a half a dozen greeting cards per year. Which reminds me: GET YOUR VACCINATIONS, both for your health and to create herd immunity for people who really can't take vaccines. Don't become a Typhoid Mary, an asymptomatic carrier, feeling healthy, while spreading death. The only thing I don't like about this CVS is that you have to walk through the whole store to get to the pharmacy. ALL CVSs dedicate ALL of the floor space in the front to selling stuff you can mostly get in grocery stores and places like Target and JC Penny, but CVSs charge twice as much. Which means that your best bet is to use the drive through. Arrive before 1or between 2 and 4 to avoid long lines. You might try coming later, but they close at 8 pm. On weekends they close even earlier, 6 pm on Sat, and 5 pm on Sun. So maybe I should try their delivery service, which might be the way to go, and even get them 5 stars, since I wouldn't be offended by all the over priced food, candy, stuffed toys and such. read more

CVS has the cheapest lube ever! If you get the name brand stuff it's like ... way cheap. And if there's one thing I know about dating someone. It's that there's no better way then to show them how money conscious you are about your lube. Also they have the Larry's proteins cookies here which is like basically the 60% of the reasons why I go to cvs. Jk guyysss this place has cash back and I like to play the lotto at the places next door, which don't cash back. Very poor customer service. They don't know what they have in the store. I asked for Help finishing something and I was feel like I'm working there, they don't know what they even have not thief store. Both employee and manager didn't want to give me there names. I wish I knew the name of the gentleman who helped me today with printing out photos. I went here after a horrible experience at a photo specialty place to enlarge a photo of my mom for her funeral. I vented to this taller Caucasian man (who I assume Is the manager) while he helped me, while also making sure his employees and other customers were helped. After I sent the photo to process I walked around thinking it was going to take a little time but then he came looking for me to hand deliver my photo to me and gave me condolences even. What a sweet guy. I also come to this cvs often to fill my prescriptions and the pharmacy is USUALLY quick and helpful. The store is always tidy too. read more

This CVS is not to far from my house and it's better than the one in Canoga since it's alot bigger, cleaner and has everything that I need plus they always have so many items that I frequently buy on sale. This was my first time at this location, as we needed to get a gift bag and card. All in all, not a bad CVS location. The CVS pretty much resembled every other CVS location that I have frequented. the differences really just being on the staff at this location. Unlike the CVS I regularly visit, no one greeted the customers as they walked in/entered. I feel it's a little random to review a CVS but this place is worth it! It's close to my house and any online order for pickup is ready within minutes! The biggest thing I am impressed with here is the pharmacy-I have a number of tricky prescriptions that need certain expiration limits and they always make sure to order in if their stock is too close to expiring-also I decided to get my last few covid shots here with NO appointment, walked in and had it completed in minutes. Pharmacy staff are sooo helpful and knowledgable. I have also helped numerous people with copay cards come here to double check if they will work and staff check it out for them no problem. This have had its share of staff issues with high turn-overs over the years- I've been coming here for over 10 years and it' always seem to be short on staff so, service hasn't been good. I think I was the first customer this morning. There were only 2 staff members at the store. One was the lady (the cashier) and the other was the one who helped me find what I was looking for. The store has so much more than what you might think CVS might have. Prices: so so. I added a photo of a notebook that cost $11 plus tax. I called in to find out where my medication was and when I mentioned the texts she stated "corporate sends those so I wouldn't know" when I asked if she could check she says "sorry sir I can't do everything right when you ask it" then puts me on hold without asking and transfers me somewhere else I've now been on hold for 13 minutes UPDATE: It was the pharmacist I spoke to BEFORE Karina a new girl who's name I wasn't able to catch Karina was actually extremely helpful and nice. read more

Why does this place only have 2 stars?! What makes this CVS for me is how amazing every single one of the store and pharmacy staff are. They literally bend over backwards to help you find an item (once they even went to the warehouse for me), or get your meds to you in time (love the text-to-pick-up feature). They encourage me to keep those awful long receipts and have applied discounts on the spot. Not the best CVS, but it's one of the newer ones around. They don't have shopping carts so that limits my couponing trips. They always have really good deals if you're a rewards member. Buy one get one 1/2 off or even bogo free which you'll never see at other stores. The cashiers i've had never seem to mind when I hand them coupons, so that's a plus. They don't have everything I'm looking for all the time, or they're out of stock sometimes so that sucks. Remember to bring your shopping bags! Their bags don't have handles. read more

My neighborhood all needs store. So easy & convenient to run in & out-never really busy(except at holidays), and employees are very nice. Pharmacy is great & has a drive-up window for if you are sick or in too much pain to walk. When they have sales on store items, prices are great-and when they don't, it's still worth it for my time & convenience-not to mention the gas-to drive to Walmart (and the crowds). I love my neighborhood store & value giving business to my neighbors. There are more important things in life than saving a few cents here & there. This store is well organized and kept very clean. Most of the items are easy to lacate, thanks to the overhead signs. The employees are knowledgeable as to where the items are if you need quick help. There is no propane at this location but there are plenty of other items. read more

She rang up all of my items, placed them on the counter, I paid, then she walked away. Did she bother bagging them? NOPE. I said "Am I supposed to bag my own items?"
