Like so many people I have been suffering badly with allergies. Bought some meds to cope a few weeks ago and unfortunately, one, my doc told me I could not use and the other I took three pills and they did nothing for me. Went to return today. I didn't have the receipt and I may have paid cash for one, etc. At any rate, I worked here a few years and the return policy is very in line at the time with me returning these products and getting the return on a gift card with my ID, or I would not have gone in. Time to waste is not in my wheelhouse. The policy may have changed and I am OK being told no in a professional and respectful way. The store manager, not the ops manager or the shift manager, but the STORE manager, who informed me of his four years working for the company and being in training for something regional or district position, (I was checked out mentally at this point so I could have that part frayed), whom I specifically let a woman go in front of me so HE (a manager) could wait on me, handled me so roughly and with such disdain. I had about 100 bucks worth of product in my cart and had already rung up one transaction. I just told him to return it. And I let him know he can enforce policy as he sees fit but talking crazy to me is not an option. I've already called corporate to cancel my two extra care cards. I can spend my money elsewhere. Happily. Once a month, I buy my laundry detergent, nails, vitamins and makeup here. I spend good money in this joint. I'm sure I will find comparable prices without the coupons and care cards (which is the only reason it makes it worth for me to shop here), where my patronage may not be appreciated but at least I will be handled with professionalism and even fake friendly works for me over clear disdain. I was having a great day off, running errands, taking care of my personal tick list and ran smack into a I don't know what to call it but this guy clearly didn't like the looks of me and let his disdain be blaring. I don't think that should be an option for a store manager in training for a corporate position. But hey, that's just the thoughts of a lil ole lady who goes thru life treating people well and expecting the same in return. BYE CVS. Maybe train your trainers to treat human beings with respect and kindness. read more

This is the worst pharmacy I've ever been to in the last 40 years. The staff behind the pharmacy counter either lies to you or is completely incompetent. They are always out of the medication you need despite how common the drug is, and can never tell you when it will be in. Apparently they have the worst inventory management system in history. The US Postal Service has a better track record Than this pharmacy. Don't expect anyone to answer the phone, and IF they return your message it's never with an answer, just an excuse which is probably a lie. one star is far too generous bit Yelp doesn't allow negative stars. read more

I pulled up to the drive-thru window and waited patiently in line for 20 minutes behind a woman who was laughing and talking with pharmacy tech the whole 20 minutes. I finally blew my horn once to alert them that there were customers waiting and I could see in the woman's side view mirror that she rolled her eyes, said something and then the pharmacy tech handed her the consent to sign for her prescription paid for the prescription and then left. When I got to the window I told the pharmacy tech that was incredibly rude to carry on that level of conversation for that amount of time without regard for the fact that there were others waiting in line at the drive-thru. She said she was discussing with her her husband's medication. I told her then she needed to have come in the store for that. When I have had to wait for a prescription or had questions for the pharmacy team, I have pulled around and got to the back of the line and waited until I had more access. For someone who was in pain b/c I'm flaring and trying to wait patiently to pick up my prescription, that was not fair. read more

If they are out of a medicine, they will not tell you any eta of when they might have it in stock. They just send you on your way, knowing you are going to withdraw from your medicine and they could care less. The pharmacist (there seems to be a new one each month), when you ask to speak with her about what's going on, then gives you some type of eta on when they might have a medicine, but acts incredulous when you suggest maybe you should tell people that in the first place instead of having the tech say "it's on back order and we have no idea when we may get it in." if you ask for a little empathy, they refuse. read more

Worst pharmacy ever. Tried to get a prescription transferred here TWICE, and they won't do it. It's like the pharmacists just stand back there on their phones and if you try to talk to them they get mad like you're inconveniencing them. First time I tried to transfer my prescription I called and was on hold for 20+ minutes. When the lady finally picked up I asked about transferring a prescription. She didn't even ask all the necessary information needed to do the transfer. Then I asked if I could change the frequency of pick up and she said "sure" and then immediately hung up on me. I went inside later to check and see if my prescription was transferred, the girl at the counter told me it was expired. No DUH, that's why I got it renewed and was trying to transfer it to this pharmacy. So I asked her AGAIN if my prescription could be transferred to their pharmacy and she said she had to "check and see", went away to talk someone and came back, took some of the necessary information down, then lo and behold a week later my prescription was still not transferred. Called my original pharmacy and that lady apologized for CVS's incompetence and rudeness. Ended up having to transfer to the only semi-decent CVS around because my insurance requires me to get prescriptions filled through CVS otherwise they won't cover the cost. And even the other CVS isn't much better, in fact one of the pharmacists there gave me the wrong pills at one point. Whenever I get new insurance I'm ditching CVS, they should NOT be in business. read more

Today a new employee rung me up at my local CVS Pharmacy. His name is Ryder. He was very polite and helpful and when he needed help, the pharmacy team jumped in to happily to help him. The pharmacy is always very very busy, but they make time for each customer making them feel welcomed & like a priority. While there, the pharmacist stop what she was doing to help a customer who hadn't been there in a long time. I was even greeted when I arrived by Mae, another pharmacy employe. Went online to have some otc medicine delivered. Walgreens couldn't deliver till tomorrow morning. CVS said it would delivered today by 1057 pm TODAY!!!! So I ordered it. Now my receipt says it will be delivered tomorrow after they took my money of course. Walgreens was cheaper and had free delivery!!! But really needed it tonight. I don't like this cvs. I am always have alert on my prescription. They didn't text me for 2 weeks for my important prescription when it was due. I had to call to confirm but what annoys me is when u call pharmacy, it takes soooo long to speak with anybody. U have to go through so many voice prompt and press so many buttons to speak to someone at the pharmacy. When they answer sometimes they hang up the phone and I have to redo the whole process or go to the pharmacy. This time, I had a prescription and when I went to pick it up I asked a tech if I could get a three months supply and she checked and she said no just one month. And she asked a long haired guy and he told her the prescription needs to be reauthorized and told her to tall me I need to stand at the back of pick up line again. There were like 7 people in line. Why can't they just reauthorized because the pharmacy was right there. She didn't say anything. I just stood there to the side and there was no communication it seems like pharmacist doesn't care and the techs act like they are on some kind of power trip thinking they are better than anyone. I've been coming to this CVS on and off for years. I'd go through periods where I'll go to the one on highway 92 for a while because its convenient when I come home from work...this is more like my weekend CVS when I'm home....never had a bad experience here. Always have whatever I need in stock and lots of time on sale and sometimes even a coupon here and there...I remember a couple of years ago I came in around the holidays to buy Celine Dion's perfume for an aunt overseas that's obsessed with the singer. I spent 20 minutes just trying to refill a prescription having to jump through their hoops over and over again. AVOID AT ALL COST. This is the worst customer service I have ever received in my life. I was sick for over a week and went to the minute clinic here. The doctor was nice, and prescribed me a few medications. I saw her walk over to the pharmacy with the prescriptions, and so I came back a few hours later, met with a 45 minute wait for the drive thru. When I got to the front of the line, they said that they "just now" received the prescription, and that they would try to "expedite this" and that it would take another 45 minutes. It was 10 PM. I went home and came back the next day. It has been an hour and a half. There were three cars ahead of me when I got here. Three. I'm still waiting at the drive thru. No one has come to the window yet, and I've been at the window now for 10 minutes. UPDATE: They came, and told me that they still don't have my prescription. WTF is wrong with this management? This CVS seldom restocks anything, and when they finally do, it's one single item at a time. Never have I seen as ludicrous a system of restocking at any other chain as I do in CVS as a whole. It's just a bunch of green buckets full of loose merchandise. Not groups, or boxes of similar items. Not even separated by brand. Just big boxes full of mixed, single, loose items. I guess if this is how I had to inefficiently do my job, I'd never do it either. Worst of all, this is the only CVS in my area. I have no other choice. If I want to use a coupon or reward or just want to find something, this location better have it or I'm left with nothing. Which happens a lot. It's whatever. A car bashed a hole in the side of the building a few months ago, tipping over a shelf inside the store and making a bit of a mess. A few scraps of police tape covered it for quite awhile before anything was done. Other than that, this location isn't particularly messy or offensive. But the shelves are always jumbled with items from different displays, bare shelves are left bare most of the time, and the self checkouts have so many issues, they should not have bothered installing them. They were not worth the trouble of having. All in all, I don't super hate this place. I go here all the time. They have good things every once and awhile. This CVS just frequently disappoint me, and I've noticed that for how much traffic goes through here, some work could be done to improve the sales floor. This is quite literally the worst pharmacy I've been to in the last 20 years. Every single time I call this location I wait on hold for 20 minutes. No exaggeration. If I show up in person, I never go through the drive thru because I'd have a better chance of running a full marathon in less time than it'd take me to get through the drive thru. In store pharmacists are polite but overall uselessly understaffed. Whenever there are enough people clocked in, they seem incapable of communicating with each other to get customers out. I work in customer service and it takes A LOT for me to leave a bad review, I'm a people pleaser. I've been genuinely patient with this location through COVID because I thought that maybe the pandemic was to blame for their issues, but here we are and it's still trash. NOW, they have curb side pickup as well as the ability to order off of Instacart!! They also have a minute clinic which is super helpful when needing a last minute strep test on the weekend. This is the worst representation of healthcare professionals. The amount of errors that have occurred monthly I'm shocked and disappointed that the pharmacy is still in business. The only upside it's 24/7. The downside every single tech or pharmacist is in a constant state of attitude and disrespectful behavior. They have consistently on a monthly schedule have had issues with refills on my medication. They lack any professionalism, they play the blame game and always have an excuse for there mistakes. I have had medications change, I have had no instructions applied. I have spoken to every pharmacist during there shift and it's always someone's fault. They blame the doctors, there computer systems, everyone but themselves. They don't communicate internally it's a revolving door. Today Sean answered the phone, his phone skills and terrible attitude is the last straw for this company. It's disappointing coming from healthcare to see how the hiring is done at this place. Go to a local pharmacy who treats you more like a human with respect, rather then someone who is a constant bother by speaking up for there constant mistakes.
