Let me preface this review with an understanding that short staffing is a way of life now...but alas..here I am... I have been using this pharmacy for several years and my issues have been limited to extensive wait times at the pharmacy counter and drive through. My final straw was requesting a refill from a 90 day prescription (I had two 30 day refills left) and received a message it could not be filled. I called to find out the issue and #1, I was on hold for nearly an hour #2, my perscription was closed out # 3, when I asked why, I was told very apathetically 'I dont know'. Really? They could request a new prescription for me but it may take a few days. This was not a way to take care of your customers...while my medication is not a life threatening absence, I can't put my trust in them... read more

I had some prescriptions called in the night before a flight. They were too backed up to get them to me that night but the next morning I called and asked to have them by 9:30 because I had to leave for the airport. They sure enough had it done by 9:30. They were great! read more

Worst Pharmacy. Didn't fill all of my prescriptions and then when asked, acted like nothing is missing. If you call they don't answer. Was on hold 7 mins and they hung up ...then on hold 19 mins and hung up on. Heading back to Publix. read more

A friend at work gave me a Take 5 candy bar a few days ago and ever since then I've searching for these babies. I first went to Kroger. Then Publix and then Walmart. I asked my co-worker where she got them and she said Kroger should have them. So I went to two more Krogers just to be sure. They didn't have them. I also went to RaceTrac up the street and they didn't find them either....I know it's like crack...gotta have them...what's the big deal...ah...funny you should ask....now read this like Boyz to Men are singing it to ya...it's got pretzel and caramel with peanuts too... wrapped in peanut butter filled milk chocolate bar....ah.....music to my ears... So someone suggested I go up to the CVS on Town Lake so I did. Well it turned out it's not CVS after all it's Walgreens. Oops....guess I need to work on my Engrish... The store itself was clean and the aisles were stocked and as soon as I walked in a cashier at the front greeted me as she was ringing someone up...I immediately hit the Halloween candy aside and didn't find it. But I did find candy corn...seriously they still make those things...I've never met one person on this planet that has ever openly admitted that they liked candy corn....not to get off topic but candy corn are fun as fake teeth....So...back to my Walgreens that I thought was a CVS story.... after I wondered the store for a while I ended up in the front and lord and behold there they were. They were crying " mommy. Mommy where have you been?" So I scooped two of them tenderly into my arms and made my way down to the register. Every time I call it takes 20+ minutes of being on hold to reach someone in the pharmacy. I try to handle everything online but if a prescription is out of stock or delayed, no one there tries to fill it or find it to fill. They just leave it pending. Bad customer service. read more

Called yesterday at 10am and did the automated refill program. They picked the time and said it would be ready at 11 am today. It's now 2:45 pm and not only is it not done but they haven't started. Why bother offering a service that you can't stand behind. The lack of good pharmacies in Woodstock is ridiculous. read more

DO NOT GO HERE FOR FEDEX DROP OFF. They'll literally pull you out if line and tell you that they can't do it unless you've already taped the label to it and sealed it. No, they will not let you email the slip to them and have them print it like most places. No, they don't have tape to tape the label on. They'll also freak out if they see you holding an open package envelope (even if resealable) because it's not closed and ready to go for them. Literally don't waste your time, go to an actual FedEx. Good luck changing the drop off location with the place your making the return to if you didn't read this first. That or just make sure you have a printer with ink at home. read more

Although the staff is pleasant, this is consistently the slowest pharmacy I've ever been to. Will be switching because of this.

NO ISSUE WITH THE PHARMACY STAFF. There just are not enough of them. My issue is with Corporate and their decision to Shut down the Rose Creek operation and move everything into this one on Townlake Parkway and you wait 20 to 30 minutes to get anything done at the pharmacy'. There are seven cars now and of course this is what you see on a regular basis someone pulls out and goes around because they don't wanna sit here and spend five dollars in gasoline waiting for Walgreens. I've instructed my position to not send them to Walgreens anymore my prescriptions ask them to print them I'll take them to Publix and you know they're cheaper probably at Publix anyway I don't know why I bother with these drug stores As they are not really drug stores anymore anyway. Again I have no issue with the staff there as friendly as can be considering they're overworked rushed harried and forced to "do more with less. What's worse I unsubscribe over and over and it says there is no account associated with me email BUT THE EMSIL KEEPS COMING. Ugh!! read more

I'm really not sure why this Walgreens has such a low reviews?? I think it's a great spot... especially since they carry JOEL GOTT WINE! For those of you that know this brand you get me! The customer service is great! They have always been super nice. Now, this is not my go to since my drugstore is closer BUT I believe that it will be transforming into a Walgreens in the future. Went here to get my passport photo taken. Took 5ever, but it was good service. Their selection of hygiene stuff (and most everything) is pretty great. Head to this store if you want to find that one thing you bought at a Walgreens once. Everyone seemed slightly quiet. They were probably tired. But it was a calm atmosphere. read more

Slowest drive thru in the history of Drive thru service. You can expect 15+ minute wait times AT LEAST. I just sat here 35 minutes while the pharmacy staff was speaking with a customer in her vehicle. For the love of god- if there is an issue with insurance, payment, the order and it's going to take time to correct... have the customer go INSIDE instead of holding up other customers! Absolutely ridiculous and horrible!! This is my second chance with your pharmacy at Walgreens on towne lake parkway in Woodstock ga. I will never I repeat never go back there. The first time I waited 12 hours for amoxicillin and today my wife fell fractured her knee cap was in excruciating pain we went to your drive thru, I sat there for a few minutes then this blind headed lady walked over and said can I help you. I said we just came from urgent care and my wife needs this filled. The lady rudely barely let me finished before she said it's going to be 3 days we are 2 days behind. The lady had no remorse it was like go away we don't want to help you. This is the sane service I got the first time. You need to address this I went to Publix and had my prescription of Loratab for my wife in less than an hour! I will be telling everyone I know about this pharmacy and their lack of compassion and horrible horrible horrible service. Please address this as Managment before others get this sane service! I AM DONE!! Several years ago, I switched over to this Walgreens because they seemed to be on the ball. But this past year has been hell. They used to call you when there was a problem with your prescription. Now they just sit on their asses and wait for you to find out the hard way. My family has bounced around the local drug store scene for years, always comparing prices and service. We were big fans of Eckerd's Drugstores, but not so much after Rite-Aid bought them out and changed them all to that store brand. Currently, Walgreen's is our go-to drug store. This location is staffed with friendly and knowledgeable folks that keep the store clean and the shelves well stocked. What more could you ask for? :) The location is easily accessible since its within a quarter of a mile from an interstate highway and maybe a mile from downtown Woodstock. They offer much more than just a pharmacy, but that is the particular area that impresses us. They have a very fast turn-around time when calling in a prescription. If you are new to the area, or just browsing Yelp for a good pharmacy in the area, check the folks out. read more

My grandmother gets her medicine at this pharmacy. And it's me and my mom who have to suffer the POOR SERVICE! I understand being busy. I don't expect the world to stop for me, but don't tell me to come back in 10 minutes, and then wait 40 mins for something to be filled. Rude service from one pharmacist-assistant in particular with gauges and died hair. Stairs at you, and hollers for a pickup, for it to not even be the correct order. Then walks off on you and goes to window. This is just my current experience. I'm not talking about all my other poor experiences. Getting my grandmother to switch pharmacies, IMMEDIATELY! I love this Walgreens. The pharmacists are so nice and SO helpful, every time there is some kind of issue they try every thing to help me. They try to fill prescriptions fast if you need it and they are very professional. I have been going to this pharmacy for about 6 months and I am sticking with them. :) read more

I use the drive thru almost always and they are always quick and efficient. Yes, there is a chance that 3-5 cars may hit the drive thru at the same time so there may be a small delay for those impatient people. Be patient! Went into Walgreens today to pick up my refill prescription. Once I proceeded to the counter, the cashier took my name and got the prescription and gave me the price. The was a bit much from what I'm use to paying. I asked if it was through my insurance, she said no. I remembered my insurance carrier changed our ID numbers for 2020. Same insurance for 5 years but a different ID number. She updated the ID number in the system with the help from another employee Bryna. The price was still a bit pricey for the insurance to have been added. I then asked, if it was for one or two refills? She stated two. I then asked her, could she remove one of the refills and I can pick the other one up another time? She said sure. She then ask me if I mind letting her wait on some other customers because she needs help getting my refill changed in the system. I said sure and took a seat. Once she called me back to the counter after fixing the refill prescription, she tells me, next time you want one refill, let us know ahead of time. I explained that I called the refill in over the phone and the refill stated one refill. She then goes to say, I'm not trying to say (something) but I'm just saying for the next time. I then left with no response to the last comment. Again I wasn't feeling well. I've been a Walgreens customer for years. From up north to down south. I have never felt so belittled by a Walgreens worker in my life. She made the statement with a lot of customers around. And when I told her I called it in she still went on to speak, as if I had control over what they refill per the automated system. If the automated system said one refill I'm expecting one refill. She should never have made that statement to me as if it was my fault. I know racism when I see it. I was so upset I just walked away because again, I really needed to lay down. She's the caucasian lady with short brown spicked hair at the top. Nevertheless, you all never have to worry about me coming in Walgreens again (especially that one on Townlake). CVS is on the same street I'llbe switching. I work in Healthcare also, so I'm very big on customer service. She also needs to follow the HIPPA compliance rules. Once I sat down so she can assist someone else. I seen my prescription sitting on the counter while the other customer was standing there getting her prescription filled. My name and prescription was face up where the customer could see it. I'm very disappointed because again Ive been a Walgreens customer for over 15 years. The folks that work in this location have, on several occasions, made me feel as if I am an interruption to their day and they would prefer not to be bothered with my business. Most recently, I had 2 prescriptions filled....ugh. I have met my insurance carrier's a nual threshold for 2018, so there should have been no co-pay. The Walgreen's employee insisted that I owe $11 for a co-pay on one of the prescriptions. Because I was really sick, I we t ahead and paid the $11. Later, I contacted my insurance carrier, who informed me the medication was not subject to the co-pay. Nevertheless....Walgreen's took the $11 from my credit card. Now. Because I complained to the insurance company, Walgreem's wants me to return to the store.....14 miles from my home and allow them to give me a refund. They call my home, yet leave no messages....and a totally expect me to make a round trip of 28 miles for the $11 refund of the money they stole from me. I have yet to be allowed to speak with a manager. These people are snarky and rude....and most of all, I feel they have stolen $11 from me. Enjoy that $11 Walgreen's...you'll never get money from me again. You should be ashamed. read more
