This location is a lot better than it used to be. They paved a whole new road when you turn into the plaza and their selection in general is very wide. They have affordable clothes, groceries, basically about everything. The employees are clearly trying to make it the best situation possible and it's showing slowly but surely. read more

COVID-19 Update Yay for Walmart mandating masks. All the shoppers I saw this morning were covered. There are employees at the door monitoring the flow of traffic and compliancy. The staff on the floor..... well, half were wearing masks around their chins. What good does that do?! (I would've snapped a picture, but I didn't want to be punched in the face.) The last time I was here, the store opened at 8:00 a.m. Now it's 7:00. High risk customers generally shop early to avoid crowds. It's a shame when efforts are thwarted by people who don't get why the distancing and mask guidelines are in place. As far as availability, inventory of a number of items was low. Of course I didn't expect to see Clorox wipes, but hair dye, store brand soda, low sodium broth .... things like that were lacking. Times are bad. Unless government steps up mandatory precautions, we're subject to this for the long haul. read more

My daughter has loved their barbecue boneless chicken from the deli. Today we went to Walmart and when we got to the deli, they told us they discontinued the barbecue boneless chicken! Please bring it back! She was so sad. This chicken is one of the few things she eats. read more

February 29 there was an incident in meat market department so when I bought the ham turkey and some cheese and got home, I noticed something bad about it took it back and they handle that with professional and courtesy, and to top it all off got called from the top manager and they handled it with more courtesy and gave me something for the trouble so that's what I call it professional and that's why I love Kroger's. read more

I don't usually shop at the Walmart in Woodstock, but today I had a decent experience. First of all, the store is taking precautions to combat the spread of COVID-19. All of the employees are wearing masks, and they require customers entering to wear masks too. I started by visiting the bakery department. I asked an employee if she could slice a loaf of their french bread for me. She was friendly and accommodating. She quickly sliced the bread and thanked me for shopping there. Later I tried finding lint brushes. I was directed to the correct section within the store, but I couldn't find the item I was looking for. I asked an employee who was stocking shelves for help. At first she didn't know exactly what I was talking about. After she asked some additional questions, she figured out what I needed, and she knew exactly where the item was located. Finally, the check out process was easy. I used the self-check-out registers. There was no line, and I completed the check-out process quickly. I'll definitely consider visiting this Walmart again the next time I'm in the area. read more

This Walmart is hard to pick up from here. The store is Sometimes clean and sometimes i cant find what in looking for. The food from the deli is good I always get the wings and chicken from here. But the workers here are always slow and it takes forever. I sometimes Change my Oil and get new tires from here and they did a good job replacing the tires, but changing my oil took forever. The other day I went here and I felt disrespected over a dumb tall trash can honey incase you don't know common sense I can't put a trashcan in a bag. This is the dumbest security I know. Me and my veteran husband were harassed by an associate by the name of Logan who continued to speak to us like we were children . We were in the toy section trying to measure our son for a new bike since this is his birthday month. A gentleman by the name of Logan comes up and says please don't ride the bike over here but we were still on the same aisle and turning back around to go back down the bike aisle. So then I told my husband what was said because it was weird. Then we went down the aisle with the legos and my son picked up the little sword thing to show my husband and Logan says out loud "you're not allowed to use those like that" "guys don't hit with the sword" my husband then says what's the deal man you keep saying things to us so Logan replies you're getting aggressive I'll go get my manager ,my husband replies hey man if we break anything we will pay for it but the kids are just being kids-Logan then says look I'm being respectful and you're being aggressive. He then comes back with the automotive manager Alfredo whom then says to us "this is not a playground" after we try to explain everything to him. We were not loud or running etc just with the family but this trip has been the worse one ever and I've been to a lot of Walmarts. I hope someone runs the tapes. And the sad part is when I said there were kids throwing footballs in here too Logan's reply was I wish you would have brought that to my attention - I said for what it's not that serious they are kids . I just want to come on here to say how ridiculous it is that the pregnancy tests are now locked up. And at 9 o'clock at night I can't get anybody to help me open it. Not only is it extremely embarrassing and the way I get looked down on entirely disappointing. Walmart is infamous for their handling of controlled prescriptions. They go way beyond state and federal regulations to stand in the way of the patient and the physician to manage pain control. I won't go into all of the pain issues I have but, I was in the emergency room with an epidural hematoma in incredible pain. I was released on a Sunday and the pharmacist refused to fill my prescription for pain medicine even though I had the hospital and my spine physician call. The pharmacist lied to me 3 times about what she, the arrogant Alicia Shaw, was going to do. This is only a short synopsis but this is an ongoing problem with Walmart who should not be licensed to dispense controlled medications. They have done things like short me over 100 tablets of pain medication and on and on... read more

Seems a lot of SKU rationalization. They've taken away a lot of supplements I was buying which has forced me to purchase online/amazon. Staff is traditionally friendly. Haven't been able to find much workout equipment. Stock on paper goods is a lot better compared to some other places. read more

I have coming to this Walmart since it opened some 13+ years ago. It's old location was where the Sam's club is now. Before this location there was a Walmart in Roswell on Holcomb Bridge-now on Mansell Rd. And the one up in Canton-up 575. There wasn't that many Wal-Mart's around like there are now a days. Walmart now controls some 34% of the entire retail world and if you read Forbes's wealthiest people in the world the top 25 are still Sam Walton's kids. What makes them such a dominant player is their ability to build exceptionally efficient distribution centers throughout the country and all around the world. Not unlike McDonalds or Amazon has done. What I particularly like about this Wal mart is its management style. The section mangers seem to keep each section well stocked and organized. I rarely have problems with them being out of an item. Although they do seem to sell out a particular Iams dry cat food that my cats really like. But I don't think this is necessarily the fault on the section manager themselves....I know most of the employees here and the cashiers well. They are very friendly and go out of their way to help out. In fact about a year ago I asked one of the workers stocking shelf about a particular spinach artichoke dip that my dad really liked. We couldn't find it so I just thought....oh well....Next time. Well 10 minutes later that same worker had gone into the back unload a bunch of boxes and found them. Then she took the time to walk around the store to find me and to give it to me! Now that's customer service!! This is why they get 5 stars... for exceptional employees!! read more

I have no political concerns with Walmart. They're a business, I'm a customer. We agree I'll give them money for items I need. Here's the pros and cons of the Hwy 92 location- Pros: It's close to my home They revamped their self checkout and strive to make sure traffic flows smoothly at the self checkout kiosks There is a musical instrument store in this location. A plus for me! The produce is typically pretty good. The store is relatively cleaner than other location I have seen They have a fantastic selection of yogurt. The auto department is great at this location. Cons: It's Walmart. There's a social stigma associated with Walmart, not sure why, but some folks love to beat them up. The bread selection could be better. Hard to find certain low calorie breads there They lack a healthfood section. The parking lot is a typical Walmart parking lot; it has more than it's fair share of potholes and other tire wrecking deterrents. Overall, I like this location. read more

In my opinion this Wal-mart is below average; even compared to other Wal-mart store locations. The staff is sometimes helpful, but the majority of the people working here aren't too helpful. It's rare to find an employee to help in certain departments, so you have to wander endlessly to look for items you need. The store itself doesn't do a good job at ordering and stocking, even on things like bags. I was in there one day and they were out of bags at the self checkout and had to basically carry everything out without a bag; guess I should have brought my own and been environmentally friendly. At least they do carry the majority of grocery and other goods that I need and I usually get in and out pretty quickly. read more

I'm here all the time, due to the sheer convenience of being close to home. Buying virtually everything ranging from food to garden stuff, to automotive items like oil filters/oil/etc. Prices are as expected, which is cheaper than most counterpart retailers. The store is big but by no means is a 'massive' super center. The staff at the garden center rock, they are mostly helpful and have been working there awhile so they know the store. Parking is simple and they have 3 entrances. Sometimes it gets stupid busy but nothing to quip about, because its on holidays and such! Overall I always get what I need. Every time I check out with a cashier in this Walmart I get over charged!! Sometimes they double ring things and a few times there were items on my receipt I didn't even purchase! Last time I caught a $40 Spider-Man toy on my receipt before I even left the register. I had just finishing paying tho, so I had to go wait in line at customer care to get a manager. I just hung up with customer service...the woman on the phone told me the policy is to honor the lower price for substitutions, she didn't know why I was charged almost twice as much for products I did not select. She puts me on hold. Then after holding she gets back on the phone and says, I can return it to the store if I'd like, but the store won't refund or honor Walmart Policy. This is a higher-end Walmart from my perspective. Parking is plentiful and you can actually park reasonably close to the store at most times. Grocery Strengths: Frozen Seafood, Frozen in general, meats, dairy, pantry Grocery Weaknesses: Produce, beer and wine, long lines at check out, slow cashiers, deli The single biggest improvement to this store would be to actually keep the produce items stocked. Several times I've had to run out to another store because they didn't have celery, or cilantro, or jalapenos, etc. There are almost always multiple bins of produce empty when I visit this store. read more

The people that work here have such a bad attitude(typical for Walmart). I bought refrigerated juice and got home to realize it was 2month expired. Thinking that maybe just maybe this one had slipped through the cracks. I went by the next day to look at the dates and there were so many that were at least 1 week expired. Another time I went to buy organic eggs and one literally had blood on the outside of an egg which I could see through the package. THAT IS DISGUSTING ON A WHOLE NOTHER LEVEL. I now shop 98% of the time at Publix. The prices may be higher but it's so much more worth the quality and customer service! read more

We love Walmart but can not buy their fruits and veggies and paper products. I have tried to tell their employees and the manager is always out to lunch. But their asparagus, zucchini, and toilet paper have such a mildly smell and taste as well as their flowers waters that the cut flowers sit in. It is very sad! I now go to Publix as I pay more but I get better quality and no mold taste! read more

Reviewing again based on Pickup option. I'm updating my review since I've got a couple more experiences under my belt. So, you should check in via the app when you're on your way to the store. This way, as soon as you park, they are out the door with your groceries. The time saving is amazing. My second pickup order was perfect. Very few subs and all items were accounted for. Produce looked good. Deli meat was sliced too thick, but the app/website does not let you add notes to request how you like your meat sliced. As a result, I'll get deli meat elsewhere. I thought I'd found the solution to being able to buy affordable groceries without enduring the usual Walmart experience of shopping in-store. Unfortunately, for my third order, I was highly disappointed in the quality of the produce. I had to completely throw out a large container of raspberries they gave me because they looked rotten (yes, I should have taken them back, but I'm a million months pregnant, and it just wasn't worth it this time). They also gave me some less than appetizing grapes and suspect looking bagged lettuce. I did provide them with this feedback via their pickup survey but felt it necessary to note here as well for those who may be using their pickup service based on Yelp reviews. From this most recent experience, I will probably shy away from having them pick my fruit for me. Food for thought for their Pickup shoppers, when you're shopping for someone else, still try to use the discretion that the shopper (or you) would use when picking out items. read more

They have everything you need plus everything you don't. It's a big store and I enjoy shopping here. Savings catcher used to be awesome, but has gotten worse although every little bit they give you back is worth it. Make sure to check their prices out online and if they're cheaper at a competitor or on their website they will price match the exact same item for you if you can prove it. read more

It's an ok store but only ok. I do some of my shopping here due to the prices but I wouldn't consider Walmart my favorite store. The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting with fecal matter dried onto the toilet seats. Trash all over the store too, like they seriously don't care. Customer service just assumes anything you try to do with them is you trying to steal. I had a receipt for some headphones that broke and they flat out told me they don't sell those headphones and that my receipt must be a forgery. All in all, avoid buying from this store if you can. Plus they have that deal where if it's more expensive there than at another store they will match the price and I think that is amazing. Hwy 92 Woodstock GA. Senior hours--Many employees wear a mask but some are not covering noses. Some have masks pulled down completely. One male employee went over to a female employee not wearing her mask, pulled his down to talk to her and then coughed several times. Even some management level were not wearing masks. AND vendors didn't wear masks. This allows for the continued spread, especially since many employees at a meatpacking plant had NO symptoms but tested positive. read more
