While I was driving to pick up my medication, I called and began explaining that the price had gone from $18, then $22, and now almost $40. Before I could even finish my first sentence, the person who answered (pharmacist Daniela) cut me off abruptly and said, "Ugh, just give me your name." Her tone was dismissive, impatient, and completely unprofessional. She did not allow me to finish speaking and talked over me repeatedly. When I told her that interrupting me was rude, she continued to speak over me again. I then said I preferred to talk to someone else instead of someone who was being rude, and she responded, "Well, I am the pharmacist, and if you want to talk to someone else you will need to call on Monday." She then hung up the call. This was not a disconnection--she intentionally ended the call. When I arrived at the pharmacy moments later, I approached her and asked if she was Dr. Daniela. I told her it was rude and unprofessional to hang up on a customer. She replied, "Well, you said you didn't want to talk to me," which shows she was fully aware of her behavior and chose to escalate the situation instead of resolving it. I explained that I said I didn't want to speak with someone who was being rude--not that she should end the call. Throughout the conversation, she made faces, laughed, and ignored what I was saying. At no point did she apologize or make any effort to address the concern respectfully. Not only was this behavior unacceptable for any employee, it was especially concerning coming from the pharmacist--the person who should be setting the standard for professionalism and patient care. As a healthcare professional, she should have listened without interrupting, spoken with respect, and used a calm and professional tone. A simple response such as, "I understand your concern--may I please have your name so I can look up the prescription?" would have been appropriate. Instead, her behavior showed impatience, disrespect, and a lack of basic customer service skills. I have been a loyal patient at this location for many years, and this experience was extremely disappointing. Patients often come to the pharmacy dealing with illness, stress, or other challenges, and the last thing they need is disrespect or attitude. Her conduct does not reflect the standards of care or professionalism expected in a healthcare setting.

This was easily one of the most frustrating pharmacy experiences I've ever had. After wasting time and patience, I decided to call my dentist and have the prescription sent to CVS instead. Within one hour, CVS called to let me know my medication was ready for pick-up--no hassle, no excuses. Safe to say, I won't be doing business with Walgreens again.

Things have definitely changed, and not for the better…read more Medications are always out of stock, I have many scripts partially filled and have to wait on the remainder all the time. Staff rotates, where in the past you would always see the same people. It is evident that the staff hates their jobs-it shows. I have to ask over and over for medications to be put on auto refill and it rarely happens. There is a new young man now on the pharmacy staff who is curt, rude and who has zero empathy or customer service. Hopefully he will be out of there soon, since no staff stays there more than three months.

I had also just stopped in Alabama and spent a fair amount of time at that Buc-ee's location. Baytown Buc-ees was a stop I made at about 3:30pm on 6/10/26 and I knew I was going to battle Houston traffic to get to Austin! I was able to purchase some nuts and snacks here and the store was consistent with other stores in the chain-- tons of food, super clean restrooms, mesmerizing merch, and plenty of gas pumps. Along with my love of Buc-ee's, I also have a ton of perks at Starbucks and was pleased to see that there was a store next to Buc-ee's. I was able to get a cold brew and be on my way in 30min. Fastest Buc-ee's/Starbucks stop on my trip! I guess it possible to do a quick stop at Buc-ee's, but before I left I saw a manager and asked her if this was the first Buc-ees and she said in a polite TX voice, "No sir, we are store #34" She also let me know that the first store was in Clute, TX. Knowledgeable staff!! Since I live near the first Chipotle I was curious. I didn't get to visit the 1st Buc-ee's store or the first In and Out Burger on this trip but there will be more. :) I did visit the first KFC and museum in Corbin KY! lol
