Without this pharmacy and the staff I would be lost when it comes to medication and their interactions.

If I wanted to wait on long lines only to be ignored or dismissed I'd go to the DMV. Go to a small local pharmacy instead.

Very polite, and curtiosy cashier helped us today. Store was clean, well lit and fully stocked. The floor staff was also helpful.

One of my aunts alerted me of a sale that they have every year around the holidays where most items run 20% off - she usually takes advantage of this sale when purchasing small gifts and stocking stuffers. This year, she asked if I was interested in joining, and since I indeed needed to pick up a few small gifts, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to check Value Drugs out. On the surface, Value Drugs is an independent pharmacy, but it's a little more than that since addition to being a pharmacy and providing corresponding retail items, they have a large selection of non-pharmacy items which gives the feel of almost being a general store. It's a family business as well, with multiple locations in Westchester and on Long Island. The store is quite large - you enter into the main area with general merchandise, and then the pharmacy area is almost in a separate room off to the side. They have a good selection of merch - you can easily spend a good chunk of time browsing. As soon as I entered I focused on the holiday section - I was able to pick up some confections to complement gifts I was giving, and noticed they had a variety of decor as well. Even though the store is large, the aisles are tight - it was a struggle to navigate with all of the foot traffic, however I feel this was an atypical situation due to the sale. Service was good; the store was well staffed and despite everything going on, there was a flow and organization. Overall, I had a good first experience at Value Drugs. I cannot speak for their pharmacy services, but I can see how their other selection along with cleanliness and good service make it a staple in the Bronxville community.

I remember the Value Drugs chain and even worked for them briefly many, many years ago - but this place has no resemblance to them and I heard the chain was done, but who knows. Inside there is that old school pharmacy feel, with tall shelving, selection, and basic feel. The aisles are a little too thin, but still maneuverable. You surely won't feel as if you're in a CVS, Walgreens, or a Rite Aid - not that that's a bad thing either. Those chains put the mom & pop locations largely out of business, so to be inside one that at least feels like one is a good thing. I've been in here once or twice before, but I don't remember any specific changes if there was any. The staff I encountered were.......ok. They did their jobs, but there was nothing special about them either. Pricing is about the norm. There is a lot of merchandise inside, so you just have to look and something may catch your eye past the basic selections of what you'd find in an average pharmacy. This place shares the same land with several other businesses, including a diner and Staples. The parking is ample enough, but during a busy time it could be a potential annoyance. Unless I was real local or a customer for years, I wouldn't go out of my way to come here really. But any chance to give a local business some business over the larger chains isn't a bad thing either. So perhaps I'll return if in the area.

No, this is not Value Drugs but they've used their name and made it look just like it - lots and…read morelots of merchandise. The only thing missing is the great service you get at the real Value Drugs. Talk about riding on someone's coat tails! I went there for a covid booster at 3:15 because they advertise that they're open from 3-6 pm for walk-in vaccinations. The gate was down but there was an employee who appeared and told me in her most nonchalant way that of course I couldn't get the vaccine because the pharmacist was on his break - no "I'm sorry", no mention of when he might be back, nothing. Luckily, I had a bad feeling about this place from the beginning (the knockoff name didn't help) and I made a backup appointment with another pharmacy which I recommend that everyone do because they don't honor their own policies and they don't care how much they inconvenience their customers.
