I was able to get all the customized features I needed, the machines ran very well, and when I need a repair from my use as the machines aged, the repairs were top notch. If I could rate it zero I would. Customer service is not something they provide. My computer needed a hinge. I brought it in and was told $80 and a few days. It went up to $183 in addition to the $32 I paid to look at it. They "fixed it" but fried my motherboard in the process. They did replace it. No apology and no compensation for taking 3-1/2 weeks for it to get fixed. A simple hinge and a few days to numerous phone calls and visits and weeks to fix something they broke, I guess I my expectation of at the very least an apology was just too much. read more

Synopsis: Way overpriced, so if you're getting something you can find at Target, go there instead - you'll save money AND can get an affordable 2 yr replacement plan. But if it's something a little more computer-y and you can't wait to get it online, these guys are very nice. Not as knowledgeable as they SHOULD be though, but it seems no one in Green Bay is any good at explaining tech (I'm looking at you, Camera Corner) Detail: I won't lie - this story contains much more spontaneous money spending in it than I'm accustomed to doing. I purchased a 75-watt Logitech surround sound system that would appear to be designed specifically for computers, but seemed versatile enough to use in other set-ups. CyberWorks had it listed at $120. It was on display, and I was impressed with the volume and quality. The young man assisting me stated that he was one of their tech guys and not officially a sales rep, but he didn't have any real 'tech' knowledge of the product. So as a tech guy, he must only know computers, which, after all, is Cyber Works main game anyway. I did a search on my phone to find the answers I wanted (regarding adjustable eq, which is not on the unit itself) and instead found that the Logitech website had the product listed at $100 ($20 less). I haggled with price and told him I'd set aside my reservations if he sold it to me for that price right then, no questions asked. He went to see one of his managers in the back and came back with "How about we meet you halfway, $10 off, putting the price at $110?" (paraphrased). I shook his hand and agreed. We finished the sale. They didn't have much software there, which is why I'd gone there in the first place. After my purchase, I went to Target to see if they had what I'd been looking for, which they did. Before I left with my software, though, I found the same exact Logitech surround sound unit... for $80! I called Cyber Works up to make sure I was covered by their return policy, and bought the same unit again at Target. I returned the original surround sound system to Cyber Works shortly thereafter, and plainly stated that I found it cheaper somewhere else. I guess on the bright side, I got a free bottled water out of the deal. read more

My laptop would only boot up as far as the desktop and was erratic and often not responsive after that. I called and then dropped it off there. The morning of the next working day I got a call from Joe telling me the findings and outlining options. The hard drive was frozen. Joe replaced the old mechanical drive with a solid state one and in another day my laptop was ready to pick up. I was also advised on my options for recovering the information on the old hard drive. He had tried my old hard drive on 3 or 4 other computers without success. I am very happy with the result. Joe put Windows 10 on it and he also put some of the apps that he could see on the old computer's desktop onto my new desktop all ready to go. The price was surprisingly low for the repairs. I have been here many times giving them more than one chance, and they never have anything I need (Ram packs, kayboards, mice) straight up basics... Most recent time I was there I was looking for an Xbox controller, I know it's a pc store, but sometimes stores like this carry them, they did not have one and that was ok. However, the gentleman that assisted me, for some reason tried to convince me that wired xbox controllers are hard to find. People don't sell them for under 60. He found a "employ discount" to order one for 45. Why must they lie to me? I think they all pull this tactic to trick illinformed customers to order from them, or pay higher than normal price. So called technicians will install a suite of apps that periodically trigger the need for a 'support' call from Cyberworks. A tech will remote access your PC, work some voodoo and bill you $120 for all the help. THIS IS A SCAM. read more

I have used them twice. The first time was great with no problems. The second time they charged me for a service they did not complete and are not willing to give a partial refund. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and filed a dispute with my credit card company. Hopefully they will better service their customers in the future. read more

Warning: way overpriced! Needed a USB flash drive so I decided to check this store out. Ended up spending $20 for a flash drive that was $7 on amazon. Service is super slow - don't expect to walk out with what you need in a short amount of time. Also just a side note, they print receipts on 8.5x11 sheets of paper, which is an incredible waste. I bought my computer from cyberworks because I thought they had good customer service. Needless to say, I was having problems and because of these problems and their inability to see them, even after explaining what was going on (my husband had put a keylogger and other things on my computer to invade my privacy) they thought I was "crazy." They reported me to the police. So the 5-year warranty I thought I had was null and void as I was not allowed to go into their store. I remember the young man who built my computer, he was fired because he took the time to try and solve the problems. And this young man said, "if an employee spends more than 15 minutes with a customer and doesn't sell anything, go on and get rid of that person". Cyberworks is all about making money. On the positive side, they do have people that know how to assemble a computer to your specification. But if you are looking for customer service, don't expect it from these people. read more

Brought our desktop computer in for several problems were having logging on to internet. after the "tune up" and virus scan were done brought it home. Problems still cropped up and called cyber works back. Jacob, the tech called me back and worked for over 3 hours remotely getting my anti virus to load. He was sooo patient and took his time. I have purchased two computers from here. I have had a laptop repaired here and a PC repaired here. I have sent at least 4 neighbors here to have repairs done. These guys are knowledgeable and are not a short term business. They sell some reasonable systems but are best at customized solutions. Never have I had an issue with their service or quality of products. Want a cheap mouse, flash drive, or USB cable extension? Get it on Amazon. This is not that place. Want your old PC fixed, a high end custom gaming PC, expert knowledge, rid your kids PC of some malware you have given up on? GO HERE. Get your free bottle of water in the process. Try to find a better warranty on their computers. You won't. I believe it is 5 years now. A whole sheet of paper for the receipt! Much more difficult to lose. They offer a recycling service for old computers and TV's. More than makes up for the sheet of paper they print for you. Sheesh. read more
